You need to download the latest "Signed flashable zips" from this thread, flash it through recovery, wipe cache/dalvik cache, reflash xposed framework, and then reboot. Since you're root and have a custom recovery, you need to reflash "Signed flashable zips" every time a new update is release.
thanks

Flash the Oxygen OS 3.1.0 signed flashable zip
Wipe data & caches via TWRP
Flash the TWRP 3.0.2-2 img via TWRP
Reboot recovery via TWRP
Flash the Oxygen OS 3.1.0 signed flashable zip again
Flash one of the modified SuperSU zips
All the files you need are in post #1 of the Oxygen OS mirrors thread.
You can try updating without wiping data but you may well have issues afterwards.

No issues if you wipe data.
It's safe if you follow the instructions.
Hello,
I tried to install the new Nougat rom for jiayu S3, but it was unsuccessful. Phone got soft bricked, but I recovered it with a twrp backup.
My OS is android 4.4.4, and TRWP is 2.8. After installing the new rom , an installation error appeared and phone did not work.
I wonder it it's due to twrp 2.8, but I can't install twrp 3 (S3_h560_TWRP_3.0.2-0). There was an installation error with flashify...
The question is: can I install 7.0 from 4.4? Is it an Android problem, a TWRP issue, or just my clumsiness?
Thank you!

in short:
To go from 4.4.4 to Nougat you need to go via LP RC5 via flashify using firmware upgrade.
This is because the partition layout is different from KK to LP onwards.
Then you can flash Nougat using TWRP (which will be version 3)
Thank you very much for your answer.
Please forgive me for my ignorance but, which LP ROM should I download? Can I install it via flashify, via TWRP 2.8, o flash?
Thank you again!
You can not use Flashify, you have to do it using Flashtools (with a PC) to go from KK to LP. Download LP 5.1.1 RC 5 from MAD.

thanks to correct me, I thought Flashtools was meant
Well, I'm in trouble now... I installed successfully 5.1 in my S3, but when updated twrp 2.8 to 3.0, it did not work, so I can't install Nougat...
Now I have no twrp, and no root. How can I root to install twrp? I can't install superSU neither....
I'm sorry if it has been already answered but I can't find it.
Thanks a lot
I re-installed LP with Flash tools and everything worked right. (In twrp , it says 2.8 version, instead of 3.0, though).
Now I installed Nougat, and everything is ok.
Thank you for your excellent job!
I recently upgraded from 2.38. I flashed the 2.41 firmware via download mode/SD card method. The firmware option I chose had the newest (unofficial) version of TWRP included. Immediately following, I booted into the newly installed TWRP and formatted data. I also performed a full wipe, and installed santoD's new stock version of 2.41 with aroma. I have tried both versions in aroma (Magisk and Chainfire SU)...and do not show root with either! Can someone please explain what is going on here? I don't understand why I lost root with a clean flash.
Thanks

Just go grab the latest flashable zip for either one and flash in recovery...

Hi, my device is currently without an OS after a full wipe. I have fastboot access and latest 3.6 TWRP recovery.
Can someone please share the link to last updated Android 10 OxygenOS stock ROM and how to flash it?
Also, how can I root via Magisk after installing OOS?

Curious why you want a10? The latest oos is a11. You just flash the zip for oos in twrp. It will replace your recovery so always reflash twrp after if you want it. Magisk can also be installed from twrp.

Wasn't my device so had to go with A10. Was able to install OS, recovery and root using THIS thread.
Thanks for the response anyway!
