I'm working on a tablet for a friend, and apparently he messed up trying to root it. Now, it has either no partition or a corrupted partition so I'm unable to odin a stock rom. I have searched all over and cannot find a pit file for this variant anywhere. Is there anyone that happens to have a pit file for the sm-t337v, or someone who can extract one from theirs? It would be greatly appreciated.
Were you able to ever get it, I need it too.
Please, someone? Very much in need. Cannot find it anywhere.

I've been using the same PIT file to remap my partitions since MDC. Now it doesn't work anymore. Can someone tell me why? If anyone has a NAE PIT file please share it with me. Thank you.

Yes, Kit Kat uses different partition mapping than previous versions of Android, and no, I don't think anyone has uploaded an NAE PIT file yet.
Has anyone extracted a PIT file yet? I need it.
I am looking for a Pit file for either Kit Kat or Lollipop for the S4. Stuck on Sprint screen. Thank you.
Hi all
I have a problem (and maybe someone else will have), that my galaxy S5 does not boot, and does not allow any type of interaction via odin and return the error:
"Error: There is no pit binary."
As I researched, I need a .pit file for this. Where to find these files?
I specifically have the SM-G900MD.
Does anyone has this model and, if possible can extract the pit file from the phone to post here? or any place where to download it? I already downloaded the official stock firmware, but it is not possible to install because of this error.
Thanks

A quick search brought this useful thread up
..
I seen on other forums you can basically create a working PIT (Partition Information Table) From a Working Device, obviously based on the Same Firmware set you are running, now that root is up and running, the idea is which mmcblk to dd to get it done
Here is a link for reference I found on older Galaxy Models, id assume the process is the same but again not sure about whick block device i need to copy
Pit File Extraction
Nvr Mind Found the pit file in the CSC Section of the Stock FLash Files, doesnt exactly tell me how to generate my own but does provide a working solution if ever needed
Please CLOSE

Did you ever extract the PIT file? I need one to fix my phone and I'm on the latest update that came out a few days ago. I don't have root and my S7 is stock.

I'm on PF2. I've never used a pit file with ODIN so what does it do exactly? Could you maybe help me?
I'm getting an error when rebooting in recovery saying "failed to mount /data (Invalid arguement)". I can't notice it affecting anything though. It only pops up after I select power off, reboot, or wipe cache. If I do a wipe data/cache and thrn reboot it doesnt pop up. My phone still seems to perform right but this error worries me.
Like I said, I've never tried to root or flash my phone but this is happening.

I've downgraded to PE1 seeing if that what fix my issue, but it didn't so if you do have the PE1 version that would be fine for now while I'm on this version.

if the stock files don't work i can extract a master PIT file from the phone but i need to make sure it covers all of the relevant partitions first, basically preventing you from getting an erroneous file, as they lay out how the phone should partition the emmc chip basically acting as a flash memory version of a hard drive

Sent you a PM. Your stock files had the same error as the other stock files.

As the title, all the links I've found are all dead so can anyone send me a working link for 16gb pit file?
Thanks in advance
You could probably extract it from your device, if it still boots.
Hi
I need 32 gb pit file for Gt- I9506. as i messed with odin .
thanks for help.
When you are flashing with Odin, what is the error message? Posting the full log will help determine possible issues.
Hi
i was getting odin fail ext4 errer while flashing orignal 5.0.1 software .
So i tried to flash with pit file but unfortunatly used 16gb pit file and now i can boot in download mode or twrp but internal memory is messed up or wrongly mapped so cant flash any coustom rom.
i think i can still flash orignal with right pit file!
thanks
Please post a link or upload where i can find 32gb pit file !
thanks
Hi Pl. Help! still Cant finde suitable pit file ! Thanks
Hi,
When flashing, did you select repartition? What message did you get from Odin while trying to upload the 16gb pit file, was it successful?
Try to flash a stock firmware, then a custom recovery, and then a custom rom. Sometimes you just need to start over.
Have not found the 32gb pit file yet, but will continue to search.

When Odin gives an error when repartition is selected and no pit file is selected, i think you are fine.
I did not manage to find a file, searched through google and lxquick, browsed a few pages, with no results, sorry.
Since download and recovery still works i do not think any repartition did happen. If Odin failed this time while flashing the stock firmware, please save the log and post it here, makes it easier for us to understand what is happening. Thank you.
