Where are the download pages(Links) for the Roms? Where are the instructions? I wish XDA would go back to the way they were a couple 2-3 years ago. This site was great back then, now I can't find anything. When I do find something there is nothing with it or it is wrong. Please, someone help me to find the page that has the Custom Roms and Install Instructions...
I am on OF1, Rooted & Unlocked..... If that helps. I have Flashfire, TB (Which doesn't work right anymore.), Flashify, SuperSU, BusyBox, TWRP Manager on now. I have never worked with TWRP Manager nor Flashify so I am a newby to them.
Thanks.

What's wrong with Titanium Backup? Is it giving you the insufficient storage notification?
TB
Yes it is. TB stops and gives me the insufficient space notification.
I'd also like to know how to get a custom Rom on now. I'm OF1, Rooted, Unlocked, TWRP(Which I don't know how to use), Flashify, FlashFire, SuperSU, BusyBox. I have tried Jasmine 6.1 about 8 times and it does not work on my phone. My phone is a Verizon Retail SM-N900V Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Yea I got TB to work by going into the settings in SuperSu and unchecking mount namespace separation. Im trying to figure out how to get a custom ROM on my phone as well. I got Jasmine to work but I want to try one of the new ones. At least get a new kernel flashed for Jasmine. Did you try and make a backup in TWRP yet?

I'm sorry man. Once you reboot into recovery TWRP will give you options. The backup process is fairly easy but could be confusing when it's your first time. I'll try and find an explanation video for you and let me find the process I used to get Jasmine to work. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. I'll get back to you.

I think I might know what it was. When I flashed Jasmine ROM I hadn't unlocked the bootloader yet. And I just flashed it with flash fire. There was no computer involved after I installed of1 update and rooted the phone. Make a backup and try it again. Make sure you don't have both flash fire and TWRP installed. And that you have super su instead of kingroot.
TWRP
I've got FlashFire and TWRP both on and it seems to be fine. I went into recovery and did a backup with TWRP and it seems fine. I would just like to get a Custom Rom to work on here now. I use to run them all of the time before 4.4.3 came out. I finally got the TB back working and saving but it takes a very long time to run now.

Don't use that video its for a method that was used before the unlocked bootloader....
You obviously have never owned a d1 or anything else you could flash a ROM and such with... There is a tread called working vzw ROMs. You really need to figure out how to use twrp recovery not those apps you have. If you installed recovery use it. If not install flashify and choose the recovery for n900 4.4its the top one... Its all in a tread do the work and look.

Even though you are rooted, make sure you have the latest SuperSU and Busybox installed and working. I found that when I initially rooted my LG G2, all apps had root access by default and without prompting, which is a major security issue.
Cheers!

Thats pretty much what I did, previously i had tried to flash a bunch of other img's but they were not loki-enabled. I just downloaded the same file as you and used flashify.
I opened flashify > clicked recovery image > used flashify explorer > located the recovery.img file > clicked yes to the prompt > then rebooted.....boom done.

Hi,
Yesterday i downloaded SuperSU to my phone, and i delete it (i dont know why ) and after i delete it (from the Settings, not simple Uninstall)
i did Restart to my phone, and i saw that my SuperUser gone, but i still have ROOT access, all of my apps that need Rooted device worked.
After while, i read the discription and i saw that it should be like this, and that SuperSU switch SuperUser, so i downloaded it again.
So lets go to the point:
If i have stock ROM and stock Recovery, i can do Full Unroot from the SuperSU Settings? as i said, all completely stock, only ROOTED device, LG G2 D802.
I can do it without any problems? for sure?
Thank you so much !

I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve? I was referring to having a stock rom and recovery installed before rooting the device to perform some tweeks then unrooting it again. The reason that I unrooted again was so that I could use skygo which requires an un-rooted device. I have moved onto the G3 now but, as far as I can remember, the only way to return to a stock recovery is to return your device to completely stock by flashing a kdz. If you tell me exactly what you are trying to achieve I may be able to be of more help.

My phone still says root in download mode and cannot run LG software update. I have stock ROM and recovery. Others say they have the same problem but no replies. Can anyone help?
I'm curious too. What I did was used Super User and did that "Clean Unroot" method and after I pressed it, it cleared and the app was gone. But, I had a back up of my stock before doing this and deleted all other roms and downloaded all my pics and wallpapers to my computer. But I don't know if I'm unrooted. How would I check that? I can still go to the play store and install Superuser, is that normal or shouldn't it not install?
There's another method which involves installing the LG flash tool, and a Stock factory firmware. Should I do that method or am I fine with the Superuser?
I was on MJE rooted and safestrapped. No problems. I put SuperSu in survival mode, took the OTA...knowing full well the bootloader issue (I had played with NC2 with NC4 modem for a while and had tons of issues)...I am still rooted on NC4 no problems doing anything rootlike...except Safestrap 3.72 will not set the boot up to give me the choice to recover or continue no matter what. So I even tried Safestrap 3.73...when I install the recovery...3.73 says it completed and shows "installed" But still no choice at boot time.
Has anyone gotten this to work?

After reading your post I went ahead and tried to take the NC4 OWA with supersu in survival mode. It Worked! I was on stock mje, rooted with kingo and had a modded framework for tethering. I restored the backup of my stock framework file, then unfroze all of my apps. I put supersu in survival mode, disabled superuser, and turned default access to deny. I then enabled the install of the OWA and after the reboot I enabled supersu and just like that I still had root. So far no issues.
As far as safestrap goes, I didn't have safestrap before but I may try to install it to see if it works now. I'll let you know.

I've got a Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900H and I've tried countless times to root it. It rooted halfway. How? Well, being a n00b in a developer's forum is really tough but I'll try to exemplify:
So I succesfully rooted my phone via Philz CWM to later install Chainfire's Root App from Google Play store. But I can't run "Game Killer" without it posting "Root access needed" when I THOUGHT I rooted my phone. So I downloaded Root Checker Pro and then I kinda understood why.
Has this happened to anyone before? I've never had this rooting problem (used to own a Galaxy S4 before this one and a Samsung S2 before that one)..
PLEASE HELP!
Oh, and I can't use CF-Auto-Root method because it get's stuck at CACHE and I can't make it past there (EVEN if I change the Odin versions). My guess is that it's got something to do with Philz being there. I dunno..
HOW CAN I COMPLETELY ROOT MY BELOVED S5 G900H?
Thank you in advance!
Bump?

Yes and yes. Incomplete roots are a common issue and happen to many people. It can happen because you missed a step, because the rooting method is out of date or perhaps some app is interfering. You simply need to root again.
It would probably suffice to update SuperSU and update or install busybox. But if you prefer, uninstall SuperSU, then run your root again. If you run into difficulties, then look for advice on how to disable Knox, use one of the newer rooting methods or flash a stock firmware image and start from scratch.

2 ways:
1) This has been noted before. If you get stuck on the cache during the flash process, you should remove battery + sim + sd and re insert them and flash again.
2) Not being able to flash with Philz usually is caused because of the recovery version. Since you have G900H it could very be that problem, so if you didn't try my advice from above, I would try to use a different recovery (CWM / TWRP).
Thank you YMatrix for taking the time to respond. I will reply as soon as I'm able to do so and post a reply with the steps for the successful alternatives.

Nope. Did not work. I made a full wipe, formatted system, formatted data, formatted media, formatted cache, made a full full wipe of everything, flashed original unbranded firmware and then followed the CF-AUTOROOT method to encounter the same fail...

Is there a manual way that I can copy the su file into system and set the setuid permissions?
I'm doing my best and tried everything and nothing and no way seems to grant me core root like it's supposed to..

Just an idea,, why not unroot then use towel root? I didn't need to go to all that trouble to root my device. Just a couple of clicks with towelroot app.
Because when I attempt to root with Towelroot it says that my device is not currently supported..
I've tried almost every combination/steps.. It gets rooted but it doesn't root the core.. I don't know how to put it in words. N00b disadvantages..

Hmm in that case I would post a message on the xda-dev forum. Oh wait
Sorry I'm not much help here. I'm not sure why my Australian S5 is supported and yours is not (towelroot).
Well, I'm not sure either. One very strange thing as well is that in Terminal Emulator, when I type "whoami" it says unknown.
I still can't access full root.
I do, however, have SuperSU installed and working properly but it's like a fake root or something..

The result is still the same.. Help? Please?
Well RBucci, i'm with the exact same problem. thought semi-root, happenned to me before, with the S4 and S3, i ve simply fixed it, re rooting with another version of CF-AUTOROOT.
But now, there's no other version of it, for S5. i have the same varian (G900H) as you. CF-ROOT get stuck after writing Cache.img, and throwing "Write error".
please, let me know if you find a work around for it, i'll be doing the same.
i guess we have the same phone, i'm from argentina, probably we have the same variant of "H" version..

Question, have you tried downloading busybox from market and trying to install it?
does it erease itself after rebooting?
Finally working full root!
as you asked here is what i've done.
put a sim card in the phone, (never put a simcard in the phone before), enter developers options, marked USB debbuging, unmarked verify potencial risky apps pushed by ADB (sorry if the translation isnt exact i have the phone in spanish) is right below USB Debuggin Option.
-turn off phone
-Remove SIMCARD
-Enter Download mode
-Flash via Odin 3.09 Chainfire CF-AUTOROOT for G900H
-and enjoy.
try it mate. it worked for me
here some screenshots, one checking root, another one checking busybox.

You're the man!
I'm going to delete everything (FULL WIPE) and reinstall stock firmware to test it from scratch. I'll let you know how it goes.
Hopefully I'll be posting back from a fully rooted phone.
Thanks, bro!
I had the same issue, got stuch on cache, so i turned it off, removed the battery, took the sim AND the sd card away, and tried the cf-autoroot again, it worked, have full root on the s5
OMG
I've found the problem !!!
Hi everyone
You have to use CF-Root with Odin 1.85 ! It works perfectly

Unfortunately you cant :/
Download TiBu that is the closest you can get...
If you download a custom rom that keeps it up to date, they will probably include the update and you can just flash over it. but stock rom there isnt much u can do.

Download the Google factory image for the 6p. Use fastboot to manually flash the system.img, boot.IMG, and recovery.IMG. take the ota then reroot.

Trying to undo the last steps by flashing back the modified boot.img and TWRP.
Booting into TWRP and it asks for a password to decrypt storage!!!
Is wiping the only option??
I followed the guide religiously. What went wrong?

I followed the guide (part 10. How To Take An OTA Update If You Have Root).
Then after rebooting (before installing the OTA that is) I got a message saying encryption unsuccessful and I needed to wipe my phone. I turned it off instead and tried to restore it as it was before. Screw the OTA, I just need my phone back. I flashed back boot and recovery, is system.img or vendor.img the culprit?
Any ideas? Do I need to wipe data?

I really don't know what went wrong here, other people have done this with no issues. In TWRP it should be able to decrypt as long as you enter the password/pin.

I had a screen lock pattern, I entered the numbers that correspond to it (from what I read somewhere else, like a num keypad), no joy.
But then again, shouldn't actual booting into the system work as well? Why give this error msg?
I'm going to format then...
unless your super comfortable with ADB and fastboot, flashing things through them is never a good idea, you will screw up allot of the time. its always easier for the average user to wait for a ota zip and flash that. Or never root and accept otas.
Im not saying never use adb, just dont use it when its super important to keep your data

The only problem with that is even when an OTA zip is available you'd need to use fastboot to flash system etc to remove root anyway.
So I formatted, then set it up, then tried restoring my latest nandroid backup and now it doesn't recognise the pattern lock!

i meant a TWRP zip. unless im misunderstanding something, you can just flash those over your current rooted stock and be on your way

known problem, read this
Thanks for that, although at first after reading the first few posts I thought there was no solution, luckily I kept reading until here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63797741&postcount=34
I did that and it worked! so at least I got back my working phone. Back to square one (almost, I lost all my local copies of photos, with only cloud backup for the last 2 weeks or so) with no OTA installed. I may try it again at some other point or wait for a more safe method.

Thanks, I've just overcome the trauma and gathered the courage needed to give it another go today
So, do I have this right? If I download and flash build MDA89D ROM will it upgrade in place over my currently installed build MDB08K without losing my data? (I asked in that thread as well)
