Galaxy S5 Screen not responsive to touch - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My Samsung galaxy S5 screen is unresponsive, no soft keys work either.
What I have tried
Taken battery out, held power button for 1 minute
Factory Reset
Upgraded Firmware
Cache wipe
removed battery for 10 minutes
I was using the phone and then i put it down, and i literally looked at it 2 minutes later, it didn't fall it didn't restart or anything and the screen just didn't respond i thought there was something on the screen so i wiped it and cleaned it, that didn't work so i removed the battery, and after reinserting the batter the phone would just loop, i then left the battery out for 5 minutes put it back in and it booted up but the screen was still unresponsive, also in the pictures below you can see that the left soft key is lit up for no apparent reason, even when its booting up its like that, i have no idea what to do so if anyone has any ideas then please say,
Thanks

My phone is completely stock and not rooted, btw. I went to hold the power button to turn it off and waited maybe 10 seconds, the phone vibrated and the message flashed for all of 0.5 seconds in the upper left hand corner and the screen went blank agian.........wtf
I tried holding the volume up key and plugging it into my laptop and nothing happened, I think this phone is officially bricked

Strange Problem: i9505 Shows Warning Screen for no reason

My cousin's i9505 works fine, but this is the second time in 3 weeks it boots up into the Warning screen of Odin mode for no reason. The solution to this seems to be to pull out the battery for an hour or so and put it back in and phone works normally again. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Any permanent solution to it?
P.S The second time this happened, the earpiece stopped working and later the phone booted back to Odin Warning screen. Possible water damage causing the buttons to malfunction?

sounds like you have something like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2429585
maybe look for a disassembly video on YouTube to see if you can resolve it yourself or pay to get the button mechanism fixed.

Mine did same. I powered on holding home volume up and power etc. Then get a wierd blue screen with triangle and dead android icon instead of the usual factory reset settings etc.
So what i did was hold down both volume up and volume down and power button for around 5 or 10 seconds.
Viola - it booted up

J3 doesn´t boot. Goes off after bootlogo

Hi guys,
hopefully you can help me. A friend of mine brought me his phone because it does not boot anymore. He thought it is just an empty battery, but even if he is charging his phone for serveral time, the displays stays off. There is no charging indication. Also when he tries to start the phone, the Samsung bootlogo with model number appears but goes off afterwards.
I already tried the Volume Doen + Power button, also Power + Home button combination, but nothing works. The phone is still only showing the samsung bootlogo and then the display turns off.

Does someone of you made similiar experiences and solved it? I don´t know what else I can try.
I am thankful for every hint or suggestion.

Is there a way to revive my phone?

I recently changed phones.
Left the s7 edge in my drawer for a few months. Came back to check on it, turned it on - stuck in boot loop out of no where. It was working fine last time I turned it off.
I tried putting it in recovery mode, then I got this screen. After a few seconds it turned off, maybe because I pressed one of the buttons, I'm not sure. Then it completely turned off and now it won't turn on at all. I tried changing for a few hours, tried pressing all combinations of buttons.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
