when i reboot my s7 edge always i have nostification of sd how can remove definity?
If the notification you see says only "Open" or "Eject" (approximate translation from Italian), I see the same message but it's a normal notice and you can simply dismiss it, your microSD will work correctly.
AFAIK that notification is not avoidable, maybe after rooting?

Anytime i boot up, my apps in the start menu that are on the storage card have no icon.
I assume it has to do with the boot order of the storage card with respect to when the start menu gets built. I noticed that if i change the start menu from settings->menus after i have booted, it'll show the icons just fine until the next reboot.
Any workarounds for this short of moving all those apps onto the device?

ugh, too much trouble...
just installed wisbar...that fixed my problem
oh and it killed that annoying battery icon too
I partitioned my SD card - are all my apps now installed to there by default? Is there a way to check?
Can I stop the home screen auto rotating (I still want other things on the phone to auto rotate)
Can I disable the work email or set it to only download when I am on WiFi?
When I select a ringtone for my alarm it now displays all the default tones that come with the audio.zip but I only want it to pickup my music like it does when I select the music app. I guess this is to do with my folder structure?
Please give us the option to remove the External SD card notification in the bottom. Not trying to be rude, but i realize i have a external SD inserted, but i would definitely like it to be a removable notification. Thanks

I'm not sure if you already know this, but you can hide notifications by pressing the status bar, then pressing the bar where wifi/battery/time is, and you can enable/disable notifications from there.

but that get rid of ALL notifications. I assume that the OP would still want to know he had received a message etc (i know i would)
the keyboard icon and removable media icons are a little annoying being in the notification bar constantly. i too wish there was a way of removing. I'm guessing its a honeycomb thing rather than an Asus thing though

It also serves as our browse and unmount button so I don't see it going anywhere soon. Why is it so important to you that its gone, are you using that space?
Well, the OP and I share a common OCD of keeping the notification area free of anything.

I like them there ..makes for easy acess to the keyboard if you have a problem in a certain web page and want to change type or need to access your external storage. I use juice defender and beautiful weather so I have a icon to check status with easily and the temp is always where I can see it even if in another application just like the time and battery function. And yes it's a HC thing
Hello,
since I installed my SD card there is a SD Card symbol in the infobar after every start, which says: For trasnferring photos and media. If I klick it opens an app called "my files" and shows the data on the card.
I can just swipe it away, but it will appear again, latest with the next restart. Any chance I can control settings for this?
Thanks
Felix
This has been answered multiple times already, this is normal behavior and there is no way to disable this. Call it a Marshmallow Novelty
Disable the "My Files" notifications, and it'll stop.
Edit: No, after double checking on my Edge, that doesn't seem to do the trick. The notification is from the system framework itself, so disabling the notifications will disable all system notifications, which isn't a smart thing to do.
On stock Lollipop ROM, Galaxy S4 can't use notifications from external SD. They show up, can be selected, works from the menu, and saves into the settings. Everything seems like it worked, but when a notification occurs, it goes back to whistle sound. Copying notifications to internal memory works to fix it, but I'd rather keep notification sounds on external SD. Is there a fix or workaround? Been Googling it, couldn't find anything. Ringtones and alarms work fine from external SD. Notifications is the only one broken.
