Z5 and MicroSD 64Gb Pro + Samsung - Xperia Z5 General

Currently it has a Micro SD SanDisk Ultra up to 30Mb / s. I feel an absurd difference when I change the storage location for pictures and videos to the internal memory.
I would buy this MicroSD: http://www.ebay.com/itm/SAMSUNG-32G...hash=item51daf49af9:m:m0ogWx0j3j8tOtiy8vn72YA
Worth it?
I know the speed of the Micro SD will always be less than the internal memory, but the S.O saves some random files in SD too.

I bought!

Speed is always important. But even more than it is original.
I have bought many sd for me and friends on eBay, more than 15 and all false. Amazon is a bit more expensive but all original and directly from Samsung.

internal storage is faster than external, so that is why you dont see any improvements

But is that I bought is false? The value is too high to be false. It has many vendors selling the same SD for a much lower price.

Can phones read that though i thought all phones at this point could only be expanded to 32gb
for me,by me and I love you
From what I've read, if you use the phone to format the car to FAT32, the phone can then use the 64 GB card.

You lose like 3 or 4 gigs, but worth it IMHO. Also can not have a file over 4GB on it.

Where did you hear that? My 64GB card shows 59.36GiB on my tab, which is about 250MB short of the advertised capacity. If you don't understand why that's correct and not a loss of capacity, look up binary prefixes vs. SI prefixes on wikipedia. The SI prefixes are generally used even when binary prefixes would be correct, especially within systems
Also, if the 4GB size limit is a problem any rooted device can be made to recognize an NTFS card. Popular devices generally have custom kernels with this support built-in as well.

Well then they should advertise it as, 59.36 Gigs, not 64. Thats 3gigs of lost data storage.
I'm in for one. I had $10 in gift cards as well. Made the total after taxes about $74.xx.

[Q] Micro SD for HD2... comparision & table

Hi... in that period of NativeSD i've decide to buy a new card.
What is your experince with MicroSD on HD2 ?
well, I'm going to tell you that you must choose a good microsd depending of this things :
*the manufacturer
*the capacity.... bigger is better BUT
*the class: this is VERY IMPORTANT Because this define the minimal speed of the micro SD, then, if you want a m.SD of 2 or 4 Gb, a class 2 its OK, but if you want a m.SD of 8 or 16 , you must buy a class 4 or 6, or if you have good money a class 10 is perfect
Enviado desde Mi ELFII usando Tapatalk 2
Ok so , what microSD class 10 would u guys recommend? ... cuz i bought a 32gb class 10 wintec microSD for the HD2 obviously ... and idk how, but it got messed up after a couple of uses, sent it back to get a replacement, and got messed up again so i guess it was the microSD itself that was not useful for this phone... so, i was wondering what kind of microSD class 10 would u guys recommend?
I've buy a 64GB SanDisk class 10 for 52euro on Ebay (the grey-red one)... I hope it is functional and valid for our HD2

[Q] Sandisk 80mb/s 64gb micro SD card

These are due out soon
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=469296553&pf_rd_i=468294
Bit expensive but, could you run the OS off this card? (i.e switch internal and external storage)
And then the phone would be really fast since it's reading at 80mb/s and not 20mb/s?
Thanks
I've problems with my card, it's the typical in amazon, cheap 64gb, now I've problems with the connection usb, I can't use properly the phone, I need help with the customer service, I bought my phone with tesco mobile but I'm Spanish and need to know how to send a enquiry

You won't get maximum speed. But it is the fastest 64GB card out there now.
More info @ 64GB SanDisk Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Card Review
As far as i know switching os is impossible, else The internal flash storage is faster than this card, so switching the os would have a negative effect.
You wont get full speed on this card in your s4, the adapter isnt capable of that.
So has anybody bought the Sandisk Extreme 64GB?

Petition to Bring 32GB S5 to Sprint

Somebody over at the Sprint.com Community started a petition to bring the 32GB S5 to Sprint. Sign it here: Sprint should offer the 32gb version of the Galaxy S5 - PetitionBuzz
Why? With SD cards so cheap why would anyone pay up to $100 more for 16gbs? I ordered the S5 from Sprint and purchased a couple 16GB Samsung class 10 SD cards for $10 each. I understand that some apps work better on internal storage but with proper management its easy to work around it.
With that said, I'll still sign the petition. Who am I to say how people should spend their money.

Because built in flash storage is many times faster than MicroSD (even the fastest of them).

SD Cards still wins in terms of price to performance ratio.

Of course. Although many (me included) would rather pay more for faster storage. Storage speed can be more important than CPU speed on a device for fluidity. The reason the Moto X is so fast is because it uses very high performance flash storage. This is why I have no desire to use external storage on any device.

Is there a 32gb galaxy S5 in existance? I haven't heard any official news about any carriers having it.
T-Mobile will have the 32GB, so yes, it exists. No other carriers have said anything though.

Thanks for the link, but i've already seen it before and there's nothing official about it. Also the leaked image doesn't say "T-mobile" in it. Only 16GB is up for pre-order at T-mobile. The reason why Tmobile isn't currently offering the 32GB could be the same reason the other carriers aren't, but it may come later . You'll just have to wait and see.
Yep true. I'm hoping AT&T gets it within 14 days of the 16gb release.

Maybe, but they'll never achieve the elegance of the Chinese abacus (suànpán, or 算盤). I demand that phone manufacturers finally share some love with those of us who still prefer 2nd century bce Chinese technology! It's outright marketing discrimination.
If sprint sucks then why do you bother

[Q] Samsung microSDXC Pro UHS-I Card 64GB benchmarks a bit lower than expected

Hi I Just bought a Samsung Pro 64GB UHS-I Card. Read speeds: 90MB/s and Write: 80MB/s but my Note 3 is giving nowhere near those speeds according to benchmark. Is the same with you? I thought Note 3 could handle higer speeds.

No phone that I know of can go a lot above 20 Mbytes/s for the microSD (and there is also a similar lack of performance on internal flash, where even average SSD models go well above 200 MBytes). We'll see on the Note 4.
Thank you. The internal memory gave me 300MBs write and 700MBs read. So I guess I wasted money buying the pro version. The evo would do fine.
