Steps to Install Ota:
Create a folder in sdcard with name "dload" .
Put the downloaded update package in dload folder .
Headover to /settings/update/.
Click on menu at the bottom and select local update .
Now you wil find the update.zip as a incremental update .
Select it and let it reboot to recovery to start installation process .
Thats it it may take upto 5 mins to install the update .
Dont forget to keep 20% minimum charge before updating .

I am on the Malaysian variant of KIW L22. I tried to apply the b150 update you posted here but no luck, after reboot the phone tried to apply update but after that it says update failed. Holy f Honor never ever give any ota update in Malaysia.

Updated successfully with b130 as base .
Successful attempts , its not the case with b140 . b140 includes february security patch where we got march security patches refering to b150.

installation failed to install... As i thought.... It definitely coz of the rooted phone

I found this to be a very good update. It fixes a lot of minor issues such as the funny icons. Feels snappier and it fixes connectivity issues with my Samsung smart watch ?

So I just got my Mate 7 today (MT7-L09) and I'm having a bit of a hard time keeping up with all the different update versions and everything. Currently I'm on B331 and I wanted to try this latest MM ROM, B560. I downloaded the full firmware but it's C432 and currently I'm on C900. I've read of a lot of people bricking their devices so I wanted to make sure this would work before I went for it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

From B331 you need to upgrade to B522 and then it automatically updates to B560 from the Updater.
Both the 522 and 560 are EU ROMS like the 331 you currently have installed. The risk of bricking the device using official updates is close to negligible.

I have a feeling Huawei got sick of all the bricking and are trying to do ROMS that will update a greater range of phones.

I fear I managed to bricked my L09 yet again. I tried to upgrade to MM B560 directly from KK B145 using the 1.2 gb full update file. I put the update.zip file in the dload folder and started a local update. The software started upgrading with the following message.
"Huawei software installing DONOT press powerkey or remove battery!
The update went up almost 98% and is stuck there for the last 90 minutes. I dont see any hope that the updrage will ever complete even if I leave it alone for ever. Going by the warning on the screen, I might break the phone, If I long press the power key. Please let me know what I need to do now?

yes you did , you can't upgrade from kitkat to marshmallow , i only got my mate 7 few days ago and it was also on kitkat, there are a lot of post in this forum with guide how to upgrade and what not to do , my guess is you didn't read any of them .
at this point what you can try is put the kitkat firmware on your sd card and try to force the installation using the 3 buttons trick (volume up+volume down+power)
hi can someone please upload twrp backup of B560 so we can install it through twrp instead of getting default recovery then the procedure kindly anyone of them who have got MT7 TL09 and updated to B560 kindly make a clean backup after installing the fresh rom and upload it so users can install the same......!!

Thank you for responding touns_j. I knew the standard procedure of upgrading from KK to LP and then to MM. Couple of weeks back I came to know that it's possible to upgrade from KK to MM directly. However looks like this does not apply to B560. My attempt from B145 to B560 failed because either of the following 2 reasons.
(1) Only devices on B331 or B522 can be upgraded to B560.
(2) The vendor and country information needs to be EU.
I took the risk and booted my phone to recovery mode and then did a factory reset. The device is alive again. I'll try again after upgrading to B331 first.

Honor India started to roll out its EMUI 5 update for its Honor 8 (FRD-L02) today.
If you are a FRD-02 user, you can update it manually by downloading it from the link given below.

This will upgrade your system from FRD-L02C675B140 to FRD-L02C675B301
If you are having B130,
You can get B140 from the link - http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1190/g79/v64800/f1/full/update.zip

After moving to B140, You can update to B301.
People who have registered for OTA at Honor India, should get it soon in the upcoming days.

B140 update has this bug it seems. Another user too had same issue.
So unless you Try EMUI 5, Don't arrive to B140.

In order to concentrate all the discussion in one thread, I started this one, so please let's try to keep all info in one place!
For those who have your devices with root, please use the rollback packages to go back to b131 and relock your bootloader (necessary?!) before trying to update.
If you haven't receive the update notification yet, try to force it via the HiCare app:
- Make sure you have the latest version of the HiCare app
- Go to services
- Choose the option to early adopters (if you don't have this option, go to Me > Settings > Location and choose another nearby location and try again)
- check if there is a notification of a new update
- accept and follow the instructions
- if everything is ok, you should get the notification update on the update app
If you haven't receive the update yet, don't panic, as always, not everyone receives the update at the same time, we should only expect it to come out on February, so if we are getting it now we can only be patient and happy
For those who don't want to wait for the update via Hicare/Updater, check this thread that can help you getting the update using Charles app method.
PS: It's not mandatory, but it's recommended to do a backup before the update (via HiSuite) and perform a factory reset after the update!

You can try the method with chainfire SuperSU and report back if you did with success

you can try to change the base country of the HiCare app, just go to Me > settings > location and try with Belgium or Italy for example (it will not change the language of the app!) Probably it won't work, but you don't loose a lot of time trying it

I think just the b131 full package, the rollback is only for those in an higher version.

I was on L29C432B560 before
Bluetooth keyboard now work perfectly with this version
I've not seen other things at this time
Nothing showing up on Firmware finder, for me, except 580.
I live in Sweden no OTA update yet here. I am on B560.
So far it seem france and belgium have got the OTA update.
Will it help to change language in the phone?
In Firmware finder I get "not approved for installation"

Im trying the firmware finder proxy method
Edit: ff proxy method not working, both full package and OTA package got authentication error right after downloading :/

I did also notice this. Does this mean I can update with the proxy method thru pc and hisuite as people did with b560 from marshmallow ?

Im at work right now, so i cant check the HiSuite method. Hope it works, couse i tried with Firmware Finder, but no luck Nor Full pack, nor OTA pack

On B581 you can use Magisk which is better root solution (it can hide root and you still pass SafetyNet).

I have still got nothing on OTA (Sweden). will it help to change language to french in the phone ?

Guys Huawei recently rolled out an OTA with Face Unlock ,AR Lens Camera App Feature and EMUI 8.0( Android Oreo ) according to the article published in XDA.

Now my question is any with the Indian or Chinese variant (BND AL-10)recieved it ? I didn't get update till now

If someone from India got this please let us know because in the above mentioned article I saw that Honor is rolling EMUI 8.0 frimware from January but I didn't see anyone with EMUI 8 on Honor 7x.
[Update:3/2/2018] : I contacted the Honor India team on Twitter and they confirmed that B192 is a China exclusive OTA right now,will be rolled out to other regions soon and the latest build in India is B141.They also confirmed this is just Face unlock and Smart Notifications update not EMUI 8.0 or Oreo Update.Which means we have to wait
My Personal Suggestion is It's better to wait for the official OTA than spoiling our device by flashing the unauthentic zips or anything just for the Face Unlock feature

I have said Chinese version and I still have EMUI 5.1 and I have not received any OTA.

Got time to find out some links from their resource xml and have been able to extract a working link to download B192 update. Being a software developer I'm able to do this but not sure which one to install and do not want to brick !
Somebody can tell who has an idea of the files inside them ?

There are two BND-AL10 updates one for all(770mB) and other for all tele(around 200 MB) which one to download ?

Neither of those contain the Oreo update, only Face Unlock.

I did... and I was referring to the user who claimed to have pulled the Oreo OTA update urls from an xml file.
