Bro, before creating a thread for your needs, just search XDA, you will get results, it's just a suggestion. Rooted phones not eligible for OTA, for custom recovery u need to unlock bootloader. Check out this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3346546

Hi,can u tell me full steps how 2 unroot it(galaxy grand 2) as i am new 2 android
If you have backup of the stock unrooted rom provided by the manufacturer. Just do a restore via recovery. If not download the stock firware (unrooted original version) and flash it via kies. Your Samsung will be back to normal factory mode with unrooted. Rooting the phone will lead loss of warranty too dude. Hope you know this.
Thanks will be appreciated.

Hello,
something went wrong, the update is interrupted, now trying again ..
Odin returns a message:There is no PIT partition.
If someone is doing a backup, I`d be grateful for .PIT file
Thanks in advance

Yes, temporary - write even in the section : About !
So, this will not affect your device in any way , and also you have a option for uninstall ( all scripts and twrp ) .
Edit :
As soon as Lenovo will unlock bootloader for our device, I'll make a permanent TWRP ...
Thanks for your work

Nop, after restart , the device do not enter into TWRP, you should carefully read the section : Installation .
( before run start.bat - check once again if USB cable was connected, your device is rooted and also " USB debugging" must be enabled !)
Good luck !
Is there a chance that it will work on yt2 8?
What about the 1380F? Please post the latest row firmware
Would it work on a YT 2 10" with Windows 8.1?
Best regards.

Hey mate! Nice to see you again! I got this nice device just updated to LP (What a mess..) and then I just found your TWRP release! Not sure if this works on latest LP - and I don't know what version this build nr is related to.. thx
Edit: Ok, it's not a permanent recovery. Makes sense, as Lenovo didn't unlock bl yet.. and they'll never do I guess.. remembering the Moto Razr mess, LOL
Well, you already had a look inside YT2 kernel sources? Mind to dev something? I'm thinking about something like kexec, but just an idea - I really don't know in which way this would be possible for this device.

Tethered kexecboot might work. With the bootloader locked switching kernels is not an option. Maybe someone can do like the LG-G3 and find a way to bump it....
I'm looking to get into the bios to possibly get Linux running natively.
From my LG-G3 running Jasmine8.0/Skydragon Kernel 4.2
Hey @surdu_petru , any update on permanent recovery now that we have a bootloader unlock method?

I rooted my Lenovo A6000 still running on stock Android KitKat yesterday using KingRoot. On the system update screen a message appears that the system can't be updated due to the rooted phone. Please help me to install Lollipop. The phone also has the issue of media server using up the battery. This began after rooting it . Please do help. I have TWRP installed.
Unroot your device, flash stock recovery and then update your system.

Thank you sir. Is it necessary to flash stock recovery? I have only rooted and installed TWRP. The phone is still on the original ROM(Kitkat, never updated). Is there a way to flash Lollipop directly instead of OTA update? Please do help.
Yes you can.
Extract system.zip and your country's ota.zip from your downloaded OTA file and flash them.
First flash ota.zip and then system.zip.

K5 Note cannot be rooted in Marshmallow(6.0) as of now because marshmallow rooting needs installation of custom recovery first, and no one has yet ported a custom recovery (TWRP CWM etc) for k5note. And porting custom recovery for k5note seems hard too cause the stock firmware has image check parameter, It doesn't flash just any customized image using SP Root tools.
However if you haven't updated it yet to marshmallow, It can be rooted when it is still in Android 5.1 Lollipop by using kingroot 4.50. , and then using Super Sume.
Did anyone get method to root vibe k5 note?

[QUESTION] [HELP]Hey guys im A nOob here tried to install cm13 on my asus ze550kl but im stuck on boot logo
I faced unable to mount data and storage on twrp but i solved it by myself doing formatting
But i cant startup my phone now please solve

Were you on stock marshmallow before flashing cm13? If not, go back to stock, update to marshmallow and try to install twrp and cm13 again. There was an easy way to fix this but I cant find the link here in xda. Make sure you have unlocked bootloader.
Hey guys...I've already unbricked my phone by reverting to 6.0.1
I had unlocked bootloader but i think it didnt work or may b some problem there
Finally i flashed 1877 recovery + boot + firmware

This problem arises due to the fact that, you have enabled device protection on stock Marshmallow.
To remove this, just remove the Google account and secure lockscreen(pattern/password/pin) on your device and try again.
It works.
Thanks dude
I will surely remember this next time
