Fire Tv - Ultimate Nintendo 64 System (N64)

Nintendo 64 Games play fluidly on the Fire TV with no lag or arteffect if you are hard-core Nintendo fan in general you will be amazed with the experience that's emulator offers.
I think my next step is to use the Wii mote wirelessly to get full Nintendo experience :fingers-crossed:
Here is the video how to, Peace:

Just one question, got it all to work, but how did you get the on screen cursor? I really wanna go to the profiles tab and can't seem to get there with the controller/remote ...
I'm glad that it is working, for my understanding you are trying to use your Amazon controller or a remotes to move the cursor ( for me I was using my wireless Microsoft 800 keyboard and mouse but you can use any keyboard or mouse ) I think it's a very good question the possible to use Amazon controller to control the mouse cursor. I have to do some research to see how it can be accomplished.
multiplayer?

Can you play multiplayer? What all controllers have you tested?

I play N64 often on my gen 2 fire stick. Some lag on heavy games like golden eye, but haven't found any to be unplayable yet. I use a wired xbox 360 controller for player 1 and 2. that's all I had laying around so couldn't test 3 and 4
yeah , I can inally play some old n64 games again. goot times........
u can play a lot more like SNES. I played through Earthbound with the Amazon remote.

Is Shield TV like Nexus Player?

Greetings;
I'm on the fence as to buying a Shield TV or Shield Tablet!
I had a terrible experience with Nexus Player and
am afraid that Shield TV has all the same problems/shortcomings,
i.e. apps compatibility, navigation & etc.
Any input is much appreciated.
Ten times what the the new us player was, the shield TV is awesome!
I have both the k1 tablet and the TV, if i could only have one it would be the shield TV as for the sheer power of x1 chip over the K1
But the tablet is pretty damn good to...
App compatibility is still a bit low but you can sideload many and they will still work often enough
But great devs here bring full Android that is 99% working flawless if you need
Really the only thing you need connected to a TV, games, Netflix, kodi, Plex... all here with no issues
Gamepads and remotes are pretty slick although i sometimes have issues with my remote and voice commands

[Q] Nvidia Shield still worth to buy?

Hey
I think about Nvidia Shield to my TV, because I would like to have android OS in TV and can play games
Is it still worth to buy Nvidia Shield TV? Or if you have to make decision now, will you buy it again?
Hi,
I have Nvidia shield tv untile the end of last year.
I have no regrets for it, is ever ready, easy and let U so everything U want.
And for now there isn't something that can substitute it with the same power
Heck yeah, it's great. Very powerful impressive and only getting better.

Shield TV Noob. help please

so i've had my 16gb nvidia shield with a 64gb memory card for about 6 months now but used id sparingly. is there a FAQ that can explain the things that can be done to the shield tv? i'm pretty new to the whole rooting since i've been out of the android scene for a while. any help is appreciated.
one of the main things i'lm looking to use the shield tv for is for kodi, streaming my sling box (is there a slingplayer app?), as well as some gaming.
thanks for your time.
By all means root if you want to, but Kodi and gaming are both things that the Shield TV excels at OOTB, no modification required. I don't use Sling but if I remember correctly there were people who were sideloading the slingplayer app with success a few months ago. No idea if Sling shut that down or if it still works.
Take a look on Youtube. Enough people with info about apps and games.
You've had it 6 months an yet you know nothing about it? Maybe try reading before making a pointless thread

Shield TV multiplayer with ps3 dualshock

Can the shield TV handle different controllers during multiplayer? I've read that it is possible using the same controller but it's the shield controller that causes problems... I was planning on getting a shield TV 2017 and using my ps3 dualshock for multiplayer...
I'm sure there will be app specific issues too. Planning to use it mainly on fpse. But if other games work with it, that would be better. I have never alone and badlands which I hear are nice for coop play
