Just installed the stock marshmallow rom for G900M (trinindad & tobago) but i am missing the new feature of fingerprint support for apps like play store, telegram, EvolveSMS etc.
Is it some error, variant specifics or samsung did not added android fingerprint API in marshmallow? Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately this is only available if you use the Google marshmallow fingerprint software. Samsung's drivers are not compatible.
In other words: wont have.
Thats it?
Galaxy S5 SM-G900F starts getting Marshmallow update in Sri Lanka.

Hi guys,
I saw on AT&T site, that the new (latest) FW G892AUCS2BRD4, require previous FW "BRC5". But my current FW is G892AUCU2BRC4.
Need help to upgrade to the current version from my current. Possible or i need another (complete) FW for upgrade from BRC4?
Best regards

I got a S8 Active also and it is G892AUCS2BRE3
Just an FYI, fwiw.
Please forgive me for tagging on your post but here with an S8 Active and want to use a DeX station. My understanding is that it does not have the necessary function as part of its ROM. Is there any ports from a standard S8 or S8+ which may enable DeX functions on an S8 Active?
Thank You!

It just works out of the box or are you using a custom rom of some sort? I am about to buy the Dex Station but if the pad works I will buy that instead! Also - newer as in there is 2 different releases of the dex pad??
THanks again!

Thanks again! Got my DexPad and sadly the current rom I have loaded does not pop up with the Dex options. Could you please post a link to where you got the rom you mentioned above?
Thanks

I am not running a ROM, it just works. It wouldn't make much sense if the hardware had to work with specific ROMs. So what Baseband version do you have??

My current baseband is G892USQS1AQL1 but I am about to load G892USQS3BRH2, hopefully that will work... I had simply read that the S8 Active firmware did not come preloaded with the Dex 'bits' and had seen suggestion to use system app mover to add it from S8 or S8+.
Hi everyone,
There is a topic for enabling hidden features on Samsung S8 running Nougat:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...quick-guide-enabling-hidden-features-t3087506
However, a lot of the codes mentioned in that thread don't work on Oreo, and also the location of CSCfeature file has changed on Oreo.
Is there any topic that would have updated codes for these tricks that would work on Oreo?
I am specifically interested in enabling WiFi calling and voLTE. I have tried the codes given in that topic, but they don't work.
So none of CSC features can be used on Oreo?

Hello,
I have a Chinese Samsung Galaxy S8 SM-G9500. I want to use it in Europe. While it works with my European SIM card just fine, the phone itself has a ton of Chinese apps and other region specific features. What are my options for getting rid of all the Chinese stuff and getting Google play and all the Google services instead?
Can I simply flash some other S8 firmware from another region on it, or is this blocked by the device model?
If not, can someone recommend a noob guide for getting rid of all the default apps and Chinese features and replacing it all with EU stuff manually?
Thanks in advance.
just flash this

Hello
I need to use my Galaxy J510F with the Dexcom G5 Mobile app (it's for connecting diabetic sensors via Bluetooth).
The problem is that Dexcom only supports Samsung J5 [SM-A530 Model Only] (Android 8.1.0)...
I can install the app on my phone but I get a message that it cannot run because it's not supported in this phone model.
https://www.dexcom.com/dexcom-international-compatibility
I want to ask if there is something to do, to fool the app that this is the compatible model, or maybe flash it to another version...
thanks in advance...:good:

I'd advise you to research Android 12 and Samsung's OneUI 4.0 Skin before updating. It's creating conflicts that didn't previously exist for a number of S10 user's. Android 11 OneUI 3.1 is far more stable plus the features you gain in Android 12 OneUI 4.0 aren't that significant.
hi bro.. did you upgrade it ? because i have the same question
