Me to,use mido not boot,
I tried a few methods but it did not work

is it bootlooping....means going back to revovery again nd again?

Before you need install a treblle ROM like los, p2 or mokee
Then follow the next steps:
Wipe system, data, cache
Then you can install PE zip rom file and continue with the procedure

Overheating
I have overheating in mido after install, following the steps mentioned in the post.
Please help

How to boot Pixel Experience PROPERLY on mido
This is a guide for Redmi Note 4|X (mido).
Note: I have some problem on English grammar, so please bear with me.
Also, for doing this you will need to loose your data, so backup your file to PC
Prerequisites:
1. Download the latest AOSPExtended ROM from here. (Latest - 18/08/2017 as of now)
2. Download the Pixel Experience ROM from the OP and Don't download the patches from there, as those are for the Pixel XL sGSI and will not work with it
3. Download all the files from here.
4. Download the latest beta firmware. (v8.8.23 as of now)
5. Download the working TWRP from here. As using other recovery will cause 0MB Internal Storage Bug.
Installation:
1. Completely wipe your phones Dalvik, Vendor/Cust, Data, System, Internal Storage and Cache partitions.
2. Format Data and Reboot your phone to recovery.
3. Put all the downloaded files to your phone's internal storage.
4. Flash the downloaded AOSPExtended ROM.
5. Flash the downloaded firmware.
6. Wipe Dalvik, Cache and System. Don't wipe the Vendor and Internal Storage.
7. Flash the Pixel Experience ROM.
8. Flash the other Zips according to the numbers (Flashing Magisk is a MUST, for working SafetyNet and Camera)
*The GApps zip contains - GMail, Google Maps, Google+, Google Play Games, Google Play Music, Google Play Movies and Videos, Google Earth, Google Translate, YouTube, Google Docs-Sheets-Slides, and some necessary system components.
9. After flashing ALL OF THOSE files,wipe Dalvik/Cache and then reboot.
*After you press reboot, you will see that the phone will stuck on Mi logo and then reboot again, just don't worry. On second/third (if you count the recovery's reboot) you will see Mi logo and the following Google animation.
10. Wait for 5-10 Minutes
11. After booting up, set-up your phone, and then install the "AfterBooting-GoogleCamera.apk".
And Voila!
THAT'S A LONG-A** INSTRUCTION! If you fail to do those or your phone isn't booting, I don't know what's wrong with you :silly:

don't flash WiFi+Bluetooth fix，it causes CPU overload

Flash recovery again.

I don't understand why, when I make a backup with PBRP, I have 2 folders of 28 Gb
One named PBRP/Backups/JCAXB7663922DMD
Another one PBRP/JCAXB7663922DMD
each one with same files and 28 GB
so 56 GB in place of 28 GB ?

Help i install PBRP with PC i reboot to system . PBRP is lost back to stock recovery. Why problem. And the adb sideload is not fuction.

1. Is there a way to hide the navigation pill at the bottom? Settings > X-Tensions > Xtras > System navigation > Gesture navigation > Options > Length used for gestural navigation bar handle > Hidden
2. Will Gapps survive after an OTA? By the way, is OTA working?, it's failing check here.
3. Is there a setting for old/legacy apps layout/aspect to use the whole screen? Settings > X-Tensions > Xtras > Enable scaling

I tried to install coming from MIUI, Rom installed successfully but when I tried to flash gapps it gave me "error 70" saying that the Rom already have gapps and claiming there is no space in partition size. Any ideas? , I was able to boot the Rom without gapps and is smooth , but couldn't install gapps

Go to TWRP recovery and select wipe.
Then go to Advanced Wipe.
Once you are there, select System partition and click repair or change file system.
Some options will come up, and select Resize File System.

Format Data> Flash rom> Wipe Data > First Boot > Reboot Recovery > Flash Gapps > Finally wiped ART/Cache , Dalvik, data > Reboot and Profit :victory:

i also had the same problem. I flashed stock A10 rom, then flashed the rom and it just boots into fastboot with following all the steps mentioned above. Really wanted to try this can someone help me at what im doing wrong?

Thank you for your work! Do you plan to publish the source code with the latest changes? It would be interesting.

This twrp can't show internal storage to pc after changing Data partition in Advance Option of Pertitioning.
I have tried to changing back to ext4 but same issue, but doge twrp works fine

Did you mean after changing the File System in Advanced Wipe? Let me know the steps needed to reproduce your issue. Also, have you enabled MTP so your pc can see the internal storage? (Mount -> Enable MTP)

Yess, Firstly, im goingvto advanced wipe in wipe option and chose "Repai or change partition" with selecting my data from ext4 to f2fs. All of my internal data was wiped and changed to f2fs. Then, Wen i wanna install ur Los with Los 18.1 in my Laptop. My phone detected, and only MicroSD detcted correctly, my Internal data showing free 0 kb of 0 kb (null).

After following your steps (and then rebooting recovery) I can see my internal storage without any issues.

After wiping internel storage from your twrp and then after rebooting into system internel storage is not showing

OK I see it now (Android 10) though it works fine on Android 11. Thanks, I will take a look.
EDIT: It looks like a context issue, so it's not about your android version but rather if selinux is enforcing.

I've intalled it, It seems very fine. I've got a problem with the fingerprint option. There is no option to use it, only the usual options as password, pin, slide... but no fingerprint.

Yes, that's a known issue. Check the file in my first reply, or wait for the next build as I've fixed it and it works fine now

Hello, I installed the rom, all looking well worked. But very often my applications close or stop working

whats the status of this rom ? I had used Evolution X version 4.5 once and liked it very much. If this rom is stable, with no or less bug I am thinking of flashing this rom.

There's a stable build with no actual bugs, in the telegram group. Feel free to try it out

I haven't recieved any other such reports, I advise you to clean flash

bug free exactly which version and could you provide link? and is it also official build?

It's on boot screen for almost 15 minutes and I have no idea why. Tried clean and dirty flash everything, previous version (4.5) works just fine but this is not booting up.

I did a butt-load of different things but official twrp did the job

Unfortunately, all IR apps (Rgb Remote or iR XBOX ONE Remote) no longer work. Please help.

In the newest version (5.5.2) font and accent color keeps reverting back to default every time I restart the device.
