Hi, I'm a beginner developer and do not have the Nexus 6P, but I need it systemui to do a job. Who would be able to pass me SystemUi so I download and do the work that plan. I downloaded the image of the preview but can not decompile, if someone could give me just SystemUi thank you very much.
sorry errors, I used translator.

Well I Read this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2251719 but when I try to open .jar file I don't get classes.dex file.
- Copy *.jar file to apktool folder (make sure is the same folder). for example : android.policy.jar
- Open android.policy.jar using Winrar or 7zip and extract classes.dex file
- Drag & drop classes.dex to Quick-Baksmali.cmd (decompile process)
- wait and you will see a folder with the name "classout"
- now you can start editing smali file on classout folder (use Notepad++ for editing it)
- After editing is complete, Drag & drop classout folder to Quick-Smali.cmd (recompile process)
I made a little bootanimation from some gameplay from watch dogs. Enjoy!
Place the bootanimation.zip file in your system/media folder
Changelog
Bootanimation 1.0 Initial version
Bootanimation 2.0 Added Loop
Bootanimation 3.0 Coming soon with sound(Sound doesn't seem to work like it did on my old phone)
thank you!!!! I love your work really thank you
Oh love it! Nice. Thanks man
Can't flash it :/.
Latest Paranoid Saberdroid rom, it says installation aborted.

I did that, set permissions to r/w and my old bootanimation is still showing. Suggestions? First time doing this so I am sure it's my fault.

Make sure you delete the old one and then replace it ,maybe that helps. If it doesn't I don't know what the problem is. I'm quite a noob

Deleted old one from System/Media and put this one in there. Still didn't work. Is it working for everyone else?
EDIT: The Images in the folder are JPEG, my understanding is that bootanimation require PNG type... please someone let me know if I am wrong on this.
EDIT: Got it working... for some reason my permissions weren't sticking... switched to a new explorer app and it works now. Looks great OP.

The images are jpeg. Maybe it depends on which ROM you are using. I'm using Liquidsmooth. I did use jpeg because the file is much smaller. When i'm using PNG the bootanimation gets over 40mb's

It's working fine here. Thank you OP I'm loving it. All you guys have to do is copy and paste this new boot animation into system/media using a ROOT file explorer. It will than ask you if you want to overwrite the current one. Click yes. Then long press and hit "properties." Then change permissions to rw-r--r

Its really not hard. you just delete the orginal bootanimation in system/media folder via explorer which comes with CM11. and then past it there and change permissions to R/W ticked on O in properities. thats it just 30 secs.
Great, really really great i think i will stick with this one... Gonna check if there's a way to add sound to the animation, i think i saw (heard, to be exact) it in the past already

Can you upload a preview?
So now we have it! The first images are leaked and wait to be ported to our Nexus Devices!
Herr we have three Files! The Boot.img, System.img and System_other.img:
https://mega.nz/#!hEoQCARY!crD31K2H7Jh-wvmVzVEYfFv0guNu0SriK-61wgUOfes
Herr are some APK's From the Pixel. Some of them are working fine and some won't install:
http://kickedface.blogspot.de/2016/10/download-leaked-apks-from-google-pixel.html?m=1
I hope there will be more leaks in ghe next time and some of you are able to Port that to our devices.
While i'd find it really cool to port 7.1 image to our phones without it even being released, i don't think anyone would do it actually.

It has nothing to do with a ROM. It was a build.prop modification.

Google Assistant is working on Nexus 5X/Nexus 6P!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/guide-how-to-enable-google-assistant-t3477879
Camera 4.2 port: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/themes-apps/mod-google-camera-4-2-nexus-5x-android-t3477980
some apps wont really work/install on 5x/6p because some of it have minimum requirement of version 7.1 which is the current version of Pixel. APKs need to be decompiled first then change minimum version requirement for it to work on 7.0

It's the pixel build.prop . What I can't remember is if the "P" is capitalized in the build.prop for for 6p. I modified it for the Google assistant and now I want to change it back.
Fyi, yes I know it is a very minor and ignorant thing that I am asking. But, I don't know the answer so I figured I would ask XDA
