Most of the root features I can do without.......But, is there any possible way to install it without Root? Even if it's half effective........Anyone......The stock Bluetooth is so low....and flat
From my understanding... You will need root to achieve this. Sorry.

Hey guys!
I'm new here, and first off I'd like to state a few things, just so we're clear:
MusicFX / Default Equalizer doesn't work for me.
My S4 is rooted.
I don't want to reflash / can't upgrade / lose root
I've gone through all the necessary steps and backed up my phone with NANDroid backup and Titanium Backup, I don't want to have to re flash or update and lose my root, but all I really need is a working equalizer for my music.... since my headphones aren't giving 100%, I need a bass / volume boost... Now to the point, I downloaded Viper4Android sound mod and I'm just wondering if this'll brick my phone or not? Running 4.3 MK2 SW...
I'm doing a full backup just in case but can anyone please confirm that this works or not before I irreversibly damage or brick my phone? I just don't want to go through the agonizing hassle of reflashing my GS4 since it's so complicated, and at this point Kies won't work for me here so I'm bent out of luck if my phone gets bricked...
If not, can anyone list any good working equalizer / bass booster apps for the S4?
I'd be more than happy and I'd appreciate your help, guys.
Thanks! -Dan
Viper4androidFx is amazing...... It is the only audio mod you need, ever..... As long as you have made a nandroid backup there shouldn't be an issue...

yes Viper is amazing and it wont brick your phone! but it consumes more RAM. One more thing, did u tried the ADAPT sound feature of default music player? It gives real clear audio quality! Just try it before Viper u might like it.

Hello, does anybody know how to reconfigure priority interruptions button to be this way :
1. Completely silent, no vibration
2. Silent with vibration included
3. Normal use
Basically like profile switcher.
Cheers!

Cheers mate. It requires xposed in order to use all features (which I want). Do I have to root it? I'm new in Oneplus world, so I'm not sure if it comes un-rooted or not.
Or, which xposed should I install? do you have an apk?
L.E. I guess this link is the right one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
But I'm not sure what do I have to install from there.

If it's just for changing All/Priority/None to All/Vibrate/Silent, then you don't need either root nor Xposed.
For everything else yes you need Xposed, and for Xposed you need root, and for root you need a custom recovery and for a custom recovery you need to unlock your bootloader. It may be a significant hurdle if you're new to all this, but it's well worth the effort as it opens up a whole new level of customization.

I know what involves all these (for root), but I just need, as you said, changing All/Priority/None to All/Vibrate/Silent.
I think it works now, cheers mate!
Hi.
Have you been able to play the latest Pokémon GO 0.37 on a Note 3 with root?
If so, can you please tell us how you did it in detail?
1. How?
2. What rom are you on?
3. Can i ceep my rom in my sign?
Yeah i know, Pokémon GO is boring, pointless and soo Juni 2016. But we are many that still wants to play it
Thanks for not telling that you are not going to play it in this thread.

It works with root now.
Follow this: Magisk v6
Remeber, if you have xposed then you need to uninstall it.
Here is the right one.
Xposed v86.5 - Universal Systemless Compatibility

Do a complete unroot in superuser first.
And for how.. it's in the OP under Instructions.
Hmmmmm
ok
I don't play pokemon go, but I hate the idea of not being able to if I would want to, just because I have root.
I have the same problem with an app for a Swedish operator, this app would be great to have, but "nooo, you can't have root".
Makes me so angry.
In short.. thanks for the great work and taking the power back ???

I think so.
Search her http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...rom-note-5-s6-edges-marshmallow-port-t3314857
I think i saw someone with Phronesis talking about it.
Anyone have luck with jasmine rom?
Running "full unroot" in supersu settings just gets spinning uninstall animation endlessly for me.
Hi all,
I'm wondering if installing viper4android on stock is worth the effort.
regards
I would say for straight audio quality and controls, yes as I find the Dolby Atmos app to be pretty rubbish. I really miss Viper, but, my Axon is encrypted and in enforcing mode, stock, not rooted so I won't be going backwards and removing security measures to run ViPER4Android on it. Just making the effort to get my settings between Atmos and Poweramp right.

Thank you. I am rooted and i was interested if viper4android enhances the soundquality.
Yes it does oh so much! Especially with the right settings. I can't live without viper4android on my phone. Installation is super easy. Running stock as well. How are you rooted? SuperSU or Magisk?

Any special steps for latest stock with magisk?
Hi all! First, thanks to all for the hard work in outlining how to root the HD 10! :good: I followed the directions and successfully rooted my HD 10 with the offline method. Before rooting I wasn't aware that I would lose access to some apps that check for root like the Spectrum TV app and even the Weather Channel app. I kind of understand why Spectrum would not like rooted devices, but The Weather Channel app? In any case, I'd like to know if there is a way to cloak or hide root so that some of these apps will start working again. I haven't tried setting up Xposed or anything, but is that a way to do it? Does Xposed have a module that's safe to use on the HD 10 for hiding root?
Thanks in advance for any help!!
Is anyone out there who can help answer this question?

You'd need to use a systemless root manager like Magisk or SUHide-lite which are not compatible with the HD 10 root solution.
