Thank you for taking time to make this thread - just a heads up, i flashed the updated qualcomm drivers binaries from N5 forums to LS and they work beautifully. Feels much more smooth than before !

Ended up downloading an app to add sim contacts to sim

Does anyone know what kind of custom animation does this rom support? I tried using the CM10 default bootanimation but it shows up entirely black.

It should support any boot animation as long as the resolution is 1080x1920 and the permissions are set to rw-r-r-. What folder did you put it in?

Ah, my bad, it was for my older phone which was 1280x720, good point.

Yeah I do. Poweramp takes some trickery though. You have to go into Audio -> Advanced Tweaks and uncheck Direct volume control, and BT Direct Volume Control. I also check MusicFX. Normally with other ROMs I have to do that and then enable the switch in the Tone/Volume screen, but that switch doesn't appear on Liquid so you may not need to check that box.

Then plug in your headphones. That seems to kick start Poweramp/Viper. In Viper settings you may have to disable and renable it. Then it should process everywhere until a reboot. Then you gotta do the headphones thing again.

The PowerAmp/Viper thing has been like that forever on Mahdi too, ever since we went to the 4.4 kernel. If @REV3NT3CH can fix it, that would be awesome.

What variant do you have? And where did the modem come from? Most ROMs now need the stock modem. The actual one that came with the OTAs. If you're using one from dr87's thread that were patched to fix rotation, they won't work.

D802 Okhey thanks, I was convinced I was using the correct modem. I have download and install the one from Cloudyfa and its working perfectly. [emoji5]

i too have got v4a working with @JRJ442 's method on latest build...though the install part is much easier than before and standard audio across the board seems fixed...im still aiming at fixing v4a for good as its one of the best feautures built into the rom and greatest mods in android history when it works proper

I was looking for a best sound mod for Lolipop ( Especially for Head Phone Boost and Bass ) for a long time.. Today i just found one amazing sound mod in one of the Russian android forum. The headphone boost is amazing.. No extra sound. Only bass. Awsomm.. This mod contains latest Dolby Digital Plus and Beats mod. This mod should work on any Sony devices that running Official Android 5.0.2/5.1.1 and 6.0.1 devices. And its working in Aosp 7.1 Sony...
So i thought to share it for you guys.. Please note that this is not my work. I am just sharing it with permission from the original developer... Also note that this mod will completely remove your Sony Sound Enhancement.. Just try it with a backup guys... Also if u have any old sound mods installed means uninstall it and then try this mod.. Feel the difference.. I know there is some sound mods available for Lolipop. But this one is totally different. Try it and enjoy it....

Viper4Android Complete Setup Guide with Neon Enabled and Convolver (5.0.2 & 5.1.1)
I just wanted to share you guys how i got Viper4Android fully working on my T-Mobile Galaxy S6 Edge (SM-G925T).
I have been testing and searching for many days but never got it worked properly especially the NEON and Convolver but finally i got it work.
Following guide was tested on T-Mobile Galaxy S6 Edge with XtreStoLite and AxisM RLS3 (not planning to promote any ROM though) and latest KT Kernel Test Build on 6-20-2015.
Here is the download link
First i installed the busybox paid version from playstore and did the initial setup.
After that I downloaded latest Viper4Android from their official website. FX version v2.3.4.0
Then i installed it manually just as a user app by following the guide from djjohnnyblaze
(don't open it after the installation)
And then i moved "com.vipercn.viper4android_v2-1" folder from /data/app to /system/PRIV-APP by using Root Explorer.
Then set the permission of both folders, sub-folder and file to full access "0777" by following nappent's guide.
After that i downloaded the "audio_effect.conf.zip" file from the above link and pasted under "/System/etc/" and "/vender/etc/" folders and set the permissions to "0644"
And then i freeze both "Adapt Sound 4.0" "SoundAlive 3.0" by using System Tuner 3C. (Adapt Sount 4.0 was already removed on XtreStoLite Rom)
After that i rebooted then installed driver and rebooted again.
After the second boot, i rebooted again to recovery and install the supolicy fix script provided by maximumentropy from here.
And then reboot back to the system and then i got Viper4Android got it fully working with NEON Enabled except Convolver because of Kernel folder under /storage/sdcard0/Viper4Android is empty.
For that i extracted the Kernel Folder from the flashable zip provided by "stangdriver44". I tried to flash his zip in first place but didn't get it work.
Here is the link to download Kernel Folder that i extracted from stangdriver44's zip file. Just unzip and place it under /storage/sdcard0/Viper4Android.
I take no credit at all. All i did was just combine all the information in one place so people don't have to spend so much time like i did.
All credit goes to the original developer and the others people i mentioned above who contributed.

I am not exactly sure what it does but i can tell the quality of the sound significantly better with neon enabled.

What ROM are you using and what is your device model ? I flashed SimplKernel on XtreStoLite V1.5 and it was working for me.

Working on 5.1.1
The above method is also working on 5.1.1 XtreStoLite Odex Pure Edition 2.0 with Latest SimplKernel r5U

Im on Simplkernel and XtreStoLite 2.0, using a Edge 925F, its odd, tried a clean install but same still no Neon enabled.

V4A is my favorite app.

HOLY $%!* man you are a lifesaver! Coming from the HTC M8 with Dolby and V4A in one hell of an audiophile combo, its been killing me to not be able to do the same with the S6.
I found the other guide, but it didnt work for me as Im sure I didnt follow the thing properly. This definitely did the trick, v4a is working and I dont even need to use the permissive kernel app anymore. I regretted importing the worst (G9208) variant as not just custom roms, but nothing including this seemed to work. I can now confirm it works on the stock rom and kernel perfectly. Loaded my irs files as well (HTC Boomsound irs was the best to me). Although now Dolby doesnt work anymore, likely due to the audioeffects file swap. Will keep at it.

At boot not add Huawei account. From apk "Regionchanger" select Cina. Now go in up music and add your huawei accont. After go in Regionchanger and put your real location. Profit
3. How I can delete chinese text?
k-settings > lockscreen and desktop settings > uncheck both "lunar calender" and "weather lunar" (off)
and for notification drop-down ..... k-settings > notification settings > unchick "show statusbar lunar" (off)
4. Where is Viper?
k-settings > more settings > Viper 4 Android Fx

Try this rom. I've add a lot of stuff. I continue support P9 Plus until I use like my first device. For now I've this, z5 premium, 1+3.
I hope that release a rom can push other dev to put out other rom

Local theme work. Online theme on last chinese base have problems if you format original cust or data. I've my device to service to repair screen but when return I want solve this problem.

Having issue with SuperSU,
It keeps asking to update binary, everytime I update it asks for to reboot, once I reboot it asks to update binary.
I tried both methods (TWRP/Normal)
Just a loop, update doesn't seem to stick.

With root explorer try to delete su file in xbin directory

For LOS, I personally would recommend this + this.

Flashed V4A-2.5.0.5_for_Viper10-4.x.x-5.x.x.zip on latest ROM and elemental kernel. V4a works on music player I'm using Google play music. But it doesn't work outside ,system wide? Thank you very much for your work if there is a fix I would be very grateful thank you.

It is working for me. I hear the difference, especially on wake up alarm, which I had to turn down a bit.
BTW, I don't see picture you attached, but here is mine, alarm ringing and checking V4A:

Tried the ''Guitar Hero'' version on Leedroid for weeks, I got random micro cuts, I usually boost db to the max for BT in my car but since Nougat I am having the micro cuts bug.
Is this version more compatible with our HTC 10 nougat?

This is fully working, but on Viper10 ROM. I cannot guaranty that it will on LeeDroid. You can backup and try. [emoji6]

After some test and use:
I have some microcuts with Bluetooth with some effects activated, but just with "viper clarity" it works without micro cuts.
The gain for phone speaker with plugin "extra loud" and "master gate" is very good ?
I don't arrive to use MX player pro, it doen't work, no sound, so I use VLC and no problem with it.
Edit: after a simple reinstall of MX player with aio codec, all is working fine now ?

Not working properly with Magisk v11.0, hot-reboot is back, needs some modifications.

Is that what's locking my phone, was almost late for work this morning.
It seems worst now though the reboots never stop, before after the reboot things would work.
I did try with the module disabled but still got reboots though, disabling magisk except root was only thing that stopped the freezes so I thought it was v11 period.
