Stock GN8 US Firmware

I was wondering if anyone has the stock firmware for the US GN8, I don't mean a stock deodexed rom or anything, I mean the STOCK stock firmware Samsung packaged with the device, it's fine if it un- roots the device. Any help is appreciated.

Yea is on Samfirmware site you gotta rcgister then search for your model number N-5110 for Wifi model and it Will Show you a ton of firmware for different Countries
what you need to do IS sort through them and find the one marked US cellular. That the one you want In gonna get a screenshot for you Showing thu Correct one to dOwn load because it is Confusing.
Just glve me a minute to fInd and upload it..Okay?
and to ease youre nervousness I have flashed that firmware twice w/ no problems

Also when you search for your firmie the note 8.0 Is listed as a phone so when it asks fur device type selectphone and youll See the Note8.0 not too far down

Yea that doesnt matter I dont know why they label all the us firmwares celluarsouth or whatever. But they do that for any u.s. firmwares. Whatever phone or tablet or etc.
But I flashed that exact file 3 times most recently yesterday and it is safe. As lomg as the download isnt corrupted somehow youre good man. Trust me.
Unfortunately they don't provide md5 checksums on the site to ensure file integrity. But that is the right file. It's large should be over a gigabyte. If it's not its bad dont use it
Hey no problem man for helping you. Just remember to help people instead of telling them "go search noob" or something similar. With the time it takes to type the go search type of crappy comment you could have helped the guy instead.

When I try to download the firmware, a pop-up says there was an error parsing the json. Did you have this problem?

Please help me set my APN, can't text!

Have just flashed Hyperdrive's R17, and flashed the modules.zip. I need to set APN, and can't figure it out. I have set it manually using some specs i see in another thread, but I still have no SMS capabilities even though it says 4G and I can make phone calls and use the internet...if someone can help me out that would be awesome!
edit: i can receive sms messages, but not send them....weird

those are actually the exact same settings i have loaded up
still all attempt to send a text message from two different apps fail....doh

You might have flashed a bad module.zip let me see if I can provide you with a better one and remember to wipe the cache

you're a genius. I think I flashed from MK2 to NB1, and then when flashing Hyperdrive i forgot to wipe again. Texts sent!

Help. Confused. Klte and kltedx

Hi. Good day guys. Im new here. And im using G-900F. Upon looking at my phone info(screenshot). The device type is "klte" and product name is "kltedx". Question. If im about to flash a cyanogenmod or aosp roms. What should I follow or depend on? The klte or kltedx? Because im confuse s5 is classified into diffrent types. kltespr, kltexx etc. And mine is klte and kltedx.

IMO - yep.
G900F is international variant aka KLTE. So if you have stock firmware shipped with phone, you have KLTE variant.
for example I have G900i and phone info says my Device Type is KLTE but product name is KLTEDV. When I had lollipop from taiwan my device name was KLTEZV?!
But as I said G900F is KLTE, G900I is KLTEDV.
It seems that KLTEDxx is "universal" version - where XX are to put something there. For example http://download.chainfire.eu/397/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root Chainfire is using this name.

S7 Edge SM-G935FD

I can't find any official firmware for the SM-G935FD, all available are for 935F only so would it be compatible?
Also chainfire autoroot is identified by F models only, can i flash it on the dual sim model ?
Answer: As most of all stated that SM-G935FD firmware is identical to that SM-G935F, i flash stock firmware for SM-G935F and it's working as it should
for the root issue i tried chainfire autoroot method http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/development/sm-g935-exynos-cf-auto-root-t3337354 which works perfectly but surely voids knox

i can't find too

Firmware is the same as 935F. You can use it. Root not sure, but I suppose yes.

FD firmware is available on sammobile and updato. What's your region?

In Sammobile, there is only F modal for UAE. Are you sure yours is FD? Is it an original UAE set or imported

The second sim might not work though. The FD is dual sim, the F is not.
