They never released it, AT&T doesn't release Odin images when its Samsung devices get updated for some reason

how do I reinstall the Firmware then?

There is no self fix and never will be. Bring it to a Samsung Experiece store inside a Best Buy store and they will flash the firmware for you.

With 4.4.2 you'll remain on KitKat. Download and install a stock firmware of any other country with Android version 5.0 or above.

The only change I've noticed is that my Back soft button no longer works after the the GOK2 update. Not too happy about them hosing my phone OTA.
My bad. I have a i337m and hoped that there was a complete collection for the i337.

Is there any ways i could downgrade my S8 from Pie Beta to Oreo - I Would Love to know that & My Model is G950F
find the latest oreo firmware for your model/country and flash it with odin
Just to confirm that data will be wiped if we flash with odin even using home csc file?

Last time I was on Beta (8.0) you could go back using Samsungs Kies.
It flashed latest available firmware on your phone.

Use Odin, I downgraded to CRL3 version without problems. In case of errors, enter into stock recovery and make factory reset.

You can re-install the official software by using the PC version of Smart Switch.
(You can download it from the following link - http://www.samsung.com/uk/getting-started/smart-switch/).
Please connect your phone to your computer, launch Smart Switch on your computer, and press the “Update” button to re-install the official software (rollback). "

I just downgraded back to Oreo from DRL5 Pie build last night. I Odin back to CRK1. From here you can stay or update to latest Oreo build. After I flashed CRK1, I did have to go into recovery and wipe data/factory reset. It will just remove everything from your phone to factory defaults. Make sure you remember your google login details or you could get locked out of your phone. And back up your photos and stuff. I'm on sprint s8+.

Help me identify the correct FW to flash/update to Pie 9.0

I have an Sprint Samsung S8. I want to update to Android Pie 9. Its currently on Android 8.0.0 - R16NW.G950USQU5CSA4. And I want to flash with Odin to any compatible Android Pie FW. I am personally not looking to unlock or anything. The confusing part is that when I research the FW version (G950USQU5CSA4) it comes as a Verizon FW. So I am not sure if is safe to flash any of the Pie FW available on sammobile for Sprint.
It is safe to flash for example to one like G950USQU5DSD3 that appears in Sammobile and is for Sprint?

For any newbie like me who ever had a look at this thread. This definitely work as said by @kpwnApps, I downloaded SM-G950U, build G950USQU5DSD3 (3.92GB) from Sammobile and flashed with Odin. Flashed AP, BL, CP, CSC (not CSC_HOME) on its respective place on Odin. 5m 32s later it was updated with no trouble.

Last question, I am personally not interested. Just curious. As long as is the same android version, would it be possible to downgrade too by flashing with Odin and earlier version? or would something like that cause a brick?

Does flashing G988U sprint locked phone safe?

I have bought SM-G988U phone which is sprint locked. If i try to flash the phone with the unlocked U1 model would this unlock the phone or not?
Sorry For this but i'm still a beginner and don't know if this would fix my problem. If not, then what would you recommend please?
As far as I know it's safe....but as with anything involving modding your phone....be careful as one misstep could cost you.
Hey dude, I can confirm U1 works great on Sprint devices, currently using it and still getting access to the t-mobile 5g networks here in LA.

No, it will not Sprint device Network unlocked. Your device will still be Sprint locked. I do believe this model will actually fail if you flash in Odin. Sprint pretty much puts an MDM on their devices now preventing firmware flashing. If it does flash by chance, it will just remove Sprint's bloatware apps.

Successfully flashed.
I have a Sprint S20 Ultra. I'm currently on Sprints latest firmware ATE6. I downloaded ATEC which is Junes security update with USC carrier. It is U firmware as well. I am trying to flash in Odin and I keep getting a fail. Any ideas if Sprint has now implemented something to prevent flashing of other carriers firmware? I never had issues with my S10+. This is the first time I am trying to flash firmware with my S20 Ultra. Help please
sigh. all you need is the latest patched odin and you can flash the u1 or other carrier u firmware.
i flashed the att U firmware to xaa U1 firmware. and then flashed to TMB U firmware
dont listen to other people who havent been in the odin game.

patched one
I used the patched 3.13.1 version. Yes it is safe, I'm running the Sprint version UI firmware. Originally tried with 3.14.1 and failed 3x's. Also tried the full International UI firmware unbranded with the 3.13.1 patched firmware and the phone would get stuck on the SAMSUNG logo. My phone is sim locked to Sprint though and that's why I think it wouldn't boot the full unlocked version. The Sprint branded version worked like a charm.
