Hi guyz!
I've an Asus Zenfone 5 with root, unlocked bootloader, xposed, and custom recovery.
Now i have to send this to amazon again for the refund. I had probmlems with this (dead pixel, yellow stain on the screen, and distorced audio during registration). And I want to buy the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser.
My first question is, can i send this to Amazon? I could 've problems?
If the answer is no, now i know how to unroot, and unistall bootloader. But how can i lock bootloader and install stock recovery? There is a process i can follow or it depends on the procedure i followed when i did this?
Thanks you for help!!

hit thanks if i helped u!!!
Thank you! But the post is a little vague.. i'm on lollipop now. I know only how to unroot and disable/unisall xposed. But for recovery/kernel and relock bootloader i don't know the exact procedure
The strange thing is that amazon says that there is no problem.. can i trust them?
I can fallow this maybe? http://zenfone-blog.blogspot.com/2015/06/asus-zenfone-5-stock-rom-restore.html or somethin similar? If i remember right i can't update the phone because the custom recovery or something else. I should flash the stock one(s) before.. or i can literally do the same like that link?

Hi
Last days i rooted my Asus Zenfone 5 T00J with Lollipop. I installed Xposed Framework too, and now i want to experience with modules, but i'm scared about bootloop caused by Xposed, so now i want to install this custom recovery for a nandroid backup.
I read all the posts and i'm a little confused and scared
What's the complete procedure for bootloader unlocking? Is secure? I will lose my files? And especially, it's necessary??
And i read about problems with this recovery, about a kind of 'splash' something, or a kitkat 'white/black screen'? I don't know, i'm on Lollipop and i want to stay there :fingers-crossed:
I want also know, what's right way for install recovery? Auto installer? How it works?
Please be specific :silly:

Official Unlock boot loader was just released May 18 for ZC551KL, I just unlocked my phone and now have permanent message when phone is turned on that says; Your device has been unlocked and cannot be trusted.
No way to relock boot loader to flash stock ROM
Have to wait if there will be custom ROM or recovery made for this model, I cannot not find any custom ROM for this model, only stock ROM at the moment.
Any news of TWRP and root?
nope. still waiting for the unlock bl and root process for ZF3 Laser
Please get a custom rom and open a forum for the ASUS Zenfone 3 Laser ZC551KL... We are in need because of how much ram the Default ZenUI and OS is taking up. We need Lineage or anything! Thank you!

Hello everybody,
I'd like to test the "new" B05 on my Axon G, just to see if my battery is better with the stock rom.
But i have a small question. My bootloader is unlocked, my phone can't pass safetynet without a trick in the kernel.
Somebody know if a "safetynet" kernel is avaiable for our stock G variant? or i need to relock my bootloader?
Thanks for your lights

Magisk is your friend, search the board. Ask google. No special kernel needed.

You can use my guide if you want to return safely to stock - over at Guides, News Discussion
And about safetynet, you'll pass if you follow the guide that's on the XDA articles. That article you sent is from October 2016 lol
I've been passing SafetyNet for at least two weeks but only tested two days ago. Now that they updated safetynet you might need to execute those commands in order to delete stuff and whatnot, and it will pass
Effectively, it's work !! thanks all.
What i do. :
Backup everything. Titanium etc...
Reboot in recovery, backup on OTG
Wipe everything (system/data/cache etc...)
Send via adb twrp zips files (bootstack, system and magisk)
Installed TWRP version bootstack and system.
reboot recovery
Installed Magisk.
Reboot and it's work
Now i need to check if i can have more thant 4 SOT
Hi all,

I have ported TWRP for the Zenfone Max M1 ZB555KL (X00PD). It is not 100% but should be fine for simply flashing a file. Find it here.
