2G/GSM only mode - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Do you guys have an option for GSM/2g only mode in your mobile networks -> Network mode settings area?
I've only got:
2g/3g/4g (auto connect)
2g/3g (auto connect)
3g only
There's no option for 2g only. The reason I ask is because I'm using the smart network xposed module to switch to 2g when wifi is connected, but I'm not sure it's actually in 2g only mode.

My phone is the exynos model and the CSC is France.
Where are you from, maybe the 2G only setting is only available in the exynos model?

I have the exynos, and I'm just across the channel from you in the UK

KK 4.4.2 Q

I Flashed 4.4.2 and everything is fine. But only me have missing LTE? Now in options I see only 2G and 3G. In my country my T-Mobile don't support LTE. Maybe that's why i don't have LTE option?

Note 4 Network Settings

I want to ask something about the network settings within the Note 4. Looking at the picture below, I can't lock my connection to GSM. And another issue is that even though I choose 3G only, my connection seems to like GSM more than 3G. Please, kindly enlighten me

P.S.
Firstly, I bought the Korean SK version (910S). Secondly, I haven't had my hands on the international version (910H here in my country) because none of my friends have it and the display model in the store doesn't have SIM inserted so the settings isn't accessible.

Check different carriers to see if you can find one with more compatible bands.

OnePlus 6T: LTE Only Option in "Preferred network type"

Not sure if this has been asked before, but is there a way with root access one can add the 4G/LTE Only and 3G Only options under the 'Preferred network type' menu.
I know you can use the codes to force LTE only but I would like a way to add them as official menu options.

Install a custom AOSP based ROM They have all the different radio networks built-in. Sorry, I know this doesn't really help you on stock but I figured I'd let you know anyway.

About as custom as you can get without custom rom.

Question Nothing Phone No 5G

Hi does anyone know why I can't get 5g on my Nothing phone, I have preferred network set to 5g, have tried both my voda and ee Sims, my son and partner both have full 5g service on there EE and voda Sims which is weird. If I search for available networks it shows only 2g 3g and 4g networks as shown in the image.
Thanks in advance!

Have you confirmed with your service providers that you have 5G enabled on your services?
I had the same problem. Carrier didn't certify the pohne to use in it's network which is a big BS because phone supports all the needed 5G bands. Switched to another carrier - Mobile vikings - and I have 5G.
