Hi all,
Coming from the S6 Edge on Verizon, with which I installed the Samsung Internet Browser and could go on CNN and FoxNews, for example, and play the news videos. Samsung Internet Browser came pre-installed on my S7 Edge on Sprint, and for some reason on the same sites I can't get the videos to play. I've tried uninstalling updates and reinstalling updates to it (because it's a preinstalled app there is no uninstalling it) and even clearing data/cache. Any other suggestions? Does anyone else have this problem or can everyone else play videos inside their Samsung Internet Browser? I prefer it over Chrome.

I've had my N10 for months but for some reason have never used iPlayer on it.
I went to use it today and when pressing the app it simply opens the mobile iplayer website in Chrome. Is this how it works? Have they been too lazy to actually make an app for Android tabs?
Also when I try to play something it tells me I need to install BBC media player. It is already installed.
I've tried reinstalling both apps and clearing their caches but I'm still having this same problem.
Can anyone help me out here?
just giving this a bump as I'm still having this issue.
I have the media player installed. I get this message even when I open iplayer via the media player app. I've tried clearing the cache of both apps but no improvement.
some help here would be great.
It is a bug that appeared in the last update. Hopefully they will fix it soon as I'm currently having to watch iPlayer on my phone.

I use AOSP browser or any other flash enabled browser like Firefox and play iPlayer in HD straight from the BBC website. I have never encountered a problem doing this. Just remember to request the desktop site in whatever browser you are using.
There are plenty of guides around on how to install and use flash on android 4.2 if you have not got it installed already.

i installed the rom with google play as the main app and would not work load anything so i installed a second browser and it worked and for some reason when i watched youtube videos or videos on apps or anything else it would crash and close the app ?? any ideas why or what i can do to fix it
I love the chrome browser but I hate the built in video player, and on the s7 it runs hot and is super choppy! So I've been using the Samsung browser but Google's Now on Tap won't recognize anything and always says no results. Yet the exact same page on chrome will instantly pop up with results. Anyone else having this problem too?
Hi
I have problem with official YT app. Please chech attachment. There is no problem with internet. It's appear on LTE and wifi. Other apps like showmax or movies on facebook or tidal work properly. I tried to add all permisions, I cleared cache or installed the newest version. Problem is stil available. What do you think?
Ps. I checked other apps playing youtube movies, and everything is ok.
Has anyone had any problems with these apps working?
I have a random problem where something happens and I can't get these apps to work.
Netflix - just stays on the loading screen when the logo.I've seen the attached message once appear from the Netflix app.
Prime video - app just has the loading circle
Google Movies - app loads ok and you can navigate around but can't play a movie. Click play and a blank screen shows.
The only thing which fixes this is a phone restart. I have a unlocked UK S8 on the stock firmware.
I have spoken to Samsung support on Twitter but basically they recommended a soft reset which doesn't seem to fix it long term.
