Hello, tried searching for a way to get this working, but haven't had any luck yet. I rooted my phone some time ago with king root but it soft bricked it trying to add super su. Don't know how I got it to work again, but now I don't have Bluetooth. If you go to apps under app manager there is no Bluetooth available. Anyone have an idea of where to look or where to start?
Thanks for any help.

Hey all,
I've been trying to search for this issue but couldn't find and answer so I decided to post it here.
About a month ago I decided to install the CyanogenMod4.0.4 ROM on my G1. I remember I was able to access the Market because I downloaded so apps onto my phone, but over the last 2 weeks, I can't get it running anymore. Everytime I go to open it, I get the 'force close' message. I've tried turning my phone off and on to see if that cured it but I still get the same message. I also noticed one of my apps doesn't work at all anymore (Shazam) which makes me wonder if I might of accidentally changed a setting somewhere which is not letting it work. I had downloaded a few apps from the market when it did work and some apps work properly and others don't. I hope this doesn't have anything to do with the ROM because I really like it and want to keep it installed...
any answers would be great, thanks
have you tried running fix_permissions? that usually clears up a lot of problems.
no, I haven't tried that yet. I don't know how to run that. Where do I go to do that?
well, I figured out how to do fix_permissions
I ran it, rebooted my phone, but I still have the same issue. My Market doesn't open.
i guess I'm going to have to just simply re-install the ROM?
I know there's a new one out so I might just do that, but I'm hoping that I don't continue to have this problem when I update
You could always re install 4.0.4 again, that should repair the market and it should just upgrade so all your settings will still be there.... have you got the CM recovery bootloader installed? if not, do that firts, its a life saver.

No, I don't have the CM bootloader, so I'll have to get it and I'll try that. Thanks!
Hi
I am unable to install anything...
it all started with me flashing phoenix and than SN... they all worked well
but after my last flash... my phone would not install any apk or install anything from tibu or from the market...
I took out the sim card and it decided to download...
so I traded in the phone and got a new sim card but the same thing is happeneing...
does anyone have a clue what the problem might be?
maybe a poblem from the maket to my account or bad app???
Please help this is making me very frustrated...
Thank you in advance.
nothing???
Restore your phone to factory default???
did that done that... clear cache and all that...
but in stock it works... only when using custom roms...
i tried other things but it seems to work without ext sd card....
maybe its faulty... but than it did work when i exchanged my sim card also...
i still cant figure it out but i gave up...
noone seems to want to give any ideas or help =/
but thank you for your reply.
Are you getting some error or anything when trying to install an app. or does it just sit there doing nothing?
Also, what kind of apps are you trying to install? are they "trusted" apps or 3rd party ones from the market place. I had some issues with a few roms that would not allow me to install 3rd party apps ( so all apps haha) I found a security setting in the menu>settings>applications area
allow unknown source is checked and no its all apps in general including ones i dl off the internet and on sd card.
TiBu isnt able to restore it also.
no error message it just the install screen on the market and it just sits there and i am able to push the ok button on the install screen many times and it does absolutely nothing...
Thank you.
Ok, i found this on another forum,
"If your rooted and using a MCR rom, ie Vanillia or t-mobile stock style and you have recently rebooted your phone you may need to go back to recovery and do a repair ext filesystem in the partition menu." It worked for my friend who was having a similar issue. and since it does not do any damage to your current system its worth a try. Im still looking for more info for you
cant seem to find that in the recovery mode...
and thank you so much for your help...
i am right now using the newest phoenix rom.
I guess he ran the "fix permissions" in clockwork as well. trying to get ahold of him to have him talk me through it
ah
Those I already tried even the one in ROM manager.
i ran it again and it worked for a min or two than it does the same thing hahahahaha
im about to give up....
really ty for those tips.
Sorry none of them worked lol i guess google will be next stop for me lol GL
Hi All!
I decided to go ahead and root my Droid Razr M tonight. Everything went well and I was able to breeze through all the steps and used root checker to make sure that I had successfully rooted the phone. It said that I successfully rooted the phone, but I am not so certain right now. It was my understanding that when I successfully rooted my phone that I would be able to uninstall the bloatware that came default on the phone. I went into my settings and tried uninstalling the apps like Audible, Zappos, etc and all I get is the option to disable it. Any advice? Any help you all can offer me please?

You can uninstall them, but you need to do it manually by renaming the apks in /system

How were you trying to uninstall the app? Via the app in "settings"? As far as I am aware (and I could very well be wrong), you cannot delete an app via settings.
To uninstall an app, I went through Titanium Backup (free edition) to delete. However, from what I understand, deleting an app could potentially cause issues if your carrier attempts to push an update; for that reason, I decided to freeze/disable/quarantine the app rather than deleting them altogether. By doing so, I believe that it prevents these apps from running in the background, using up precious resources.
To freeze an app, you can use Titanium Backup (the pro version) or I used an app called App Quarantine.
Using the disable option in settings also does the same thing.
I know for a fact that you can delete all the amazon apps, zappos, audible etc those all came from Google play.
Yesterday, I got a LG G3, Sprint version. All was well until today, when I tried to root it. I did so successfully, using Stump. I installed a variety of root apps and somehow in one of them disabled the home/back/menu button. I decided at that point to delete all the root apps, because I'm smart like that, in hope that it would be put back to normal. It didn't work, and now I can't do any of that. On top of that, I factory reset the phone (same results) and now I'm stuck with Sprint adware. If anyone could help me fix the menu thing, and maybe get the root things I need to remove the Sprint adware, it would make my <inserttimeunithere>.
Thanks in advance,
Nate
Hey guys.
Before 3-4 days..
The Tej app stopped working, its detecting the root even if the Magisk manager is used to hide the application.
Any suggestions to make it work again?
I have tried clean flashing of rom, hiding the app with Magisk bt didn't work.
Every time the root gets detected.
Suggestions plz.
