Returning SGS4 for Warranty

Hi.
I'm having problemas with my phone. Camera sensor seems damaged and I'm having dead pixels on every photo.
I installed several ROMs, now i have Official 4.4.2 - S4 Google Edition - v11, but I think I need official ROM to take to service repair.
This is what I get at download mode

If you're returning it for a warranty claim, I wouldn't put anything on it other than a rom for your country/carrier. Try AndroidFirmwares.net or Samsung-Updates.com, and if they don't have what you need, use a different internet connection (internet cafe, school, work, whatever).

You can root your phone, download an app called Titanium Backup from the playstore and remove the chinese apps. No need to flash another version of the firmware.

Check first if your "made in China" isn't a fake because I9500 MDK firmware is one year old (and buggy at this time)
-Install CPU-Z application to get the true
I may be wrong and hope it is the case

Problem S.O.S
I was trying to do the root I have all the application that I need for this procedure but I have a huge problem. When I am pressing the 3 bottoms I getting everything in Chinese. I would like to speak and to read in Chinese to understand what I have to press .

Sounds like you're trying to get your phone into the downloading mode for ODIN.

That's the text that comes up, it's the same on your phone but only in chinese language. Do what it says on the english one and you'll have the phone in downloading mode. Then you can do the next steps with ODIN.

Hi everyone. The more i read i'm even more confused.
I bought used phone from China. It is Samsung S4 Sprint SPH-L720T.
It is unlocked ( i suppose because i dont use sprint sim - i am from Serbia/Europa) and it's rooted.
When i go to Settings/More/AboutAbout Device it says:

apologies for invoking such a old thread but its still better than creating a new thread. Did you found any luck in flashing a another firmware ? my friend also recently bought a GT-19500 device with the same firmware (DONGCHAO).
He now wants to re-install a another firmware.

This is not the I9500 forum. This forum is for the Sprint S4, go to the correct forum to find the correct information.

Haven't flashed it yet. I'm still hesitant as I need a custom kernel for my android work and MM source code for note edge isn't available yet. So I mirrored it instead since in case I want to flash it I won't have any problem looking for a decent download link.

Running nice and smooth here, no await custom rom if and devs left , at least can hope for root and hopefully xposed will work I some form.

No Galaxy Note 4 Firmware

Hi Experts,
I have recently bought a refubished note 4. Please find the below details of the phone. I am not getting any updates because the CSC and the Firmware Code is totally different. I would like to match back the CSC and firmware code to a rom which is for N910C with code of XME -N910CXXS2CPB3_N910COLB2COJ5_XME (Malaysia). My question will be if I able to flash N910C rom into my phone. Is there anyway of doing so without triggering the knox? Please advice.

Thanks for the advice. Flashing through Odin should not be an issue. my question is will there be any issues if i flash a n910c rom into the phone which i do not know if my phone is originally n910c or n910f. I did notice that not all have the same baseband and hardware specs.

N910c has the exynos processor and n910f has snapdragon,you cannot flash n910c firmware on n910f. Go to about device and see wich one is. Only flash your model.
If the information on first post is the one from your phone you hqve n910a. So neither c or f can be flashed

You can search in at&t note 4 forum may be you will find a solution first back up your current rom and make sure that the bootloader isn't looked

I install 2 different apps and I get 2 different models. Can anyone confirm which model I have n910a or n910f? I have attached 2 screen shots. Pls advice.
