hello everyone!
i'm using Lg L3 E400
software version V10L
i'm trying to root but error comes " link is falied permission denied !"
please any one can tell what to do ??
As i'm from india ,i have just got only 1 official firmware on lg firmware site i.e. V10L only
i want to root my phone so please suggestr me what i can do ??
please do help geeks!!

to my horror, i found out that there are more phones with the same name (lg leon)....
i have an LG Leon bought from Vodafone Romania. model LG-H340n. it runs official vodafone ro android 5.0.1, sw version v10e-226-01
in the past i put custom roms on s3 mini, s2+, s3 without any issues.... but this phone.... is there a tutorial step by step for my model? i see a lot for metro, but nothing for my model.
downgrade firmware version, unlocked bootloader, kdz files, recovery, kingroot, kingoroot, supersu, supersume, baidu, recovery.... all confusing.

nope. the link 2 posts above, as well as the latest 4.5 version does not work for me. "root failed" it says.
definetely i have a locked bootloader.... how to unlock it....

Use web browser king root.apk down load it from google crome on cell phone u may have to look for 4.5.0

1. Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=12450 and download the file.
2. Open the downloaded file
3. Install it! It will tell you its bad, don't listen to that.
4. There will be a thing asking you to root, so press it. It can take around 20-30 seconds, and now you got root!
6. Your done! Enjoy your rooted phone!

if you know the exact firmware number, you can find it with this tool:

i found mine with it, its pretty awesome, somehow scans huaweis entire database.
havnt tried the rom yet though. and you need your EXACT firmware number, if you could boot into os thats under settings and about phone, if you are bricked/ boot loop however, i dont know, maybe theres an adb command to find it?

I've heard good things about Magisk for rooting
but whatever you do, I do not recommend using supersu.com(an impostor site) as that's what broke my phone...anyway, only downoad root and other system stuff from xda, or linked to from xda...if you want traditional root you can try the supersu from xda, but make backups beforehand, you need a custom recovery for it anyway...

How to use the ls993 TOT file to flash to the stock firmware

Guys I've been looking for the LS993 stock firmware KDZ file for a while, then I got following link with LS993's TOT file rather than any kdz file.

After unzip the file, the tot file size is about 6G but is there any way to use this tot file to flash to the stock firmware?

Hello. If your phone is LS993 32GB single sim then you can use H873 canadian ROM. It works very well. You can find it on lg-firmware website.
+8801911929851. Use the LGUP software. My phone bricked but now working fine.

I also used it but result was same to you. It's size is larger than .kdz file.
