I had this really stupid problem that I flashed official miui china(6.4.7) version for redmi 2.
I had problem with that ROM as it was not giving any signal on my SIM card and I couldn't find any other official ROM for my phone on their site :/
I managed to find this really good mod called wt86047-Redmi2TD_THUNDER-5.1_MiUi7-6.4.7 but I have problem with it as it doesn't give me option to ring alarm while phone is turned off (I like to turn it off while I sleep)
can you please recommend me any good/most stable costum ROM that has everything working (or at least most that I can get) or give me an official stock ROM for my hm2014813.

No, of course not directly, as I said someone on that chinese forum above ported it to G4S, attached is the about phone from the flashed rom.
Also, I've tried the other MIUI available on the same forum (4.4.18) and it's far more stabler than the Redmi Note port (4.4.25) and the haptic feedback work! so I'm gonna stick with it.

How is working that 4.4.18 ROM? Have you tested Wifi, 3G, cameras, Bluetooth, ect? Can you share your feelings about that ROM?

REALLY ....AWESOME...have tried all the roms like ASOP,MOKEE,FIUI,other roms but all came with errors like system UI stoped working and high battery drain and force CLOSE app etc...but this ROM is made as a port of PAC MAN ROM btw thanks for the developer for providing us this Chocalaty PAC MAN ROM.

1 . when ever i restart my device ...PAC MAN CONSOLE stopped working btw i dont know what that is and it is not effecting the system just a error poping up thats it.only 1 time when restarting the phone thats it.
2. when i was talking to phone call... the screen should be off with sensor active... but even its off also the phone is getting touch response with my cheek touching and opening alarm settings.
pros:
1.battery life is awesome
2.stability is good
3.no ****ty mokee apps or chinese junk app
4.signal reception and wifi works really great
5.i like packman settings for customisation
6.charging the phone is pretty fast just like MIUI rom
suggestions:
1. if u need root just flash the supersu.zip in the link and that will help u.
2..back is neccessary of ur stock using rom if u r new at custom roms.

I've been using this ROM for more than 3 months and it is stable! May I know if you have also issues with battery drain on standby? Everytime I woke up, I always check how much battery my phone consumes, and it turns out that I have to charge it before sleeping, more than 25% so it will not run out of juice in the morning.

I have use the pattern lock 4x4. I usually of the phone in my pants . Screen facing inwards. Occassionally, the phone does not response when i attempt to unlock the phone. Did any of you guys encounter that?

Hello,
Sorry if I could'nt answer before, because you were redirected to Q&A thread. This is an automatic redirecting.
You just have to make a backup before flash ( so you can return wihtout problems) and then flash Data, Cache and Dalvik Cache, through CWM or Philz recovery ( this is better). Don't worry about you 're in a lollipop rom actually, because you can change back to Kit Kat without making nothing more.

Not recommended at all.
Different framework and many different customizations in wonitor's .
Best is to do it with all wipes . except SD card.

I would like to ask you and Atrankas to put changelog of the version every time you add a new version for download on page 1. In the MIUI site the changelog is in chinese and translation doesn't work properly. In the system update I can also see the changelog but also in chinese, so i dont know what are the changes. My rom is 5.7.24.

Wrong SECTION. You should have posted this in Questions & Answers
It is probably almost impossible:
1 ) We need clear AOSP as a base because if not there will be so freaking much bugs to resolve that it is not worth it
2 ) MIUI require special porting way for diferent socs there are diferent sources for snapdragon, diferent for mediatek but did not see any for our kirin
3 ) It need a lot of testing reainstalling so there need to be someone who can live without his p9 Lite
4 ) There is needed someone who knows how linux works and someone who know good miui rom
5 ) Maybe it would be possible with AOSP as a base but we dont have it and it is hard to port clear aosp so will not even sit with this
6 ) You have stock EMUI which is similar you dont need MIUI
7 ) I dont have actually time to even put linux in virtual machine so wont do this
8 ) This thread is in wrong section so need to be moved to q&a but I think I answered you question
9 ) Even if it is possible you will not even try this because you have locked bootloader. So if you will unlock it to install rom so why not to unlock it now and build it on your own? Just learn how to do this. For me on my old phone it did get a week to have a booting rom. But there was clear AOSP. Here I dont know will be longer so go ahead and good luck

You can use either one either another but i suggest to use the fastboot one with MiFlash...
You can see the web how to do it without loosing the internal storage...
OR... if you want to wipe the internal storage, remember to backup everything important...

Don't forget to go to i.mi.com , sign in with your mi account and remove your Mi Note 2 from there. In this way, the buyer will not encounter any problems with MIUI ROMs
