Hi sorry if this has been answered before but I wasn't able to find anything with some quick searching.
My aunt just bought a new S7 Edge from VZW. She has a couple of Edge Panels set up, but the information does not seem to update unless you pull the screen down to manual refresh it. Does anyone how to make these update manually?

SECRET / HIDDEN MENU
I was digging through menus, just nose'n around. and I came upon ,"The All Mighty Secret Menu". Without dialing a code, not even opening up the dialer at all... Go to "Settings", "Activate Phone", and then wait about 1 full minute. At this time the phone will display it's monthly usage report. Then press the "Menu" (the 3 little dots in the corner) button. Then press [PST]... And there she is.... I searched all over Google for any reference to this way to get into the secret menu, but was unable to, so I thought to myself the maybe, just maybe, I was the first to find this.... :fingers-crossed: Anyhow, I wanted to inform the Community that has helped me "So Much" over the years..... Now you know. I don't have my data cable or my OTG cable with me, so I will have to go outside and try to upload the screenshots using my phone, but I am at work and have terrible reception....

Well, what's in that menu? I have the regular S6 here in the Netherlands and I don't have an 'activate phone' menu item.
It will probably only have that on the Sprint/Verizon phones as they use CDMA system
not to be disrespectful but of course, everybody who discovered a "hidden secret" must be at work, with bad reception, and unable to post screenshots.
like, every freaking one.
do (almost) everyone on xda work with undersea cables or / are dungeon explorers?
and they usually are at work non stop for 48hours.

@blazin8 sorry I'm not sure about the S5 as i have never owned one. I still have my S6 from Sprint (un- blacklist with a new esn#) and a S7 from T-Mobile. And just recently the new S8+... also from T-Mobile.
So, has anyone else had this issue yet? Tried everything couldn't get it to work. So, had to go to the lame att device support Center and they mailing me a new phone. In the mean time have to go back to my s6 edge. Yay for dim screen again... why do I keep getting samsung phones? :/ smh...
okay guys, well i buy and sell cars off auctions and in a land rover i just got i found a galaxy s7 edge in the glove box....me myself i have a galaxy s7 on sprint,,, but this edge is from tmobile, when i turned it on it automatically took me to where you have a blue screen and u sellect a language and so on, then i get to a place where it ask me enter the email it was first used on it...now i have the phone on me and if anyone has doubts of stolen phone and so on i have no problem posting pictures of the IME and so forward just fyi. anyhow i guess maybe someone at the aution planed on keeping it and they must had hit that reset crap and once they saw they got stuck just ditch the phone which by the way has a crack screen and crack back also. if pictures are needed for any reason let me know i will post them like i said i just found it in a purchase at the auction.
can i just download the marshmallow rom and flash it thru recovery to get pass this???

My FRP method this:
Phone G935A, used Firmware G935U (not AT&T bloatware)
Insert prepaid sim 0$, and 0mb internet, but LTE network...
Personalise phone start, and wifi not turn on. Google verification fail, and NEXT button active...
Personalise finish, and turn dev.opt on, oem unlock on, and add the google account.

hi guys, recently i got my s7 edge t-mobile (g935t) from a guy from my city, when i buy it i found some strange things, like when i turn on it, when appers s7 edge poweredy Android say custom and apper a padlock, appers security advice on task bar, my actual versión is G935TUVU3APG1, but i cant update my s7 from teh system, but with Smart swich appers the option to update, its safe do this? or my s7 edge will be locked again? PD: im from mexico, and i actually use my phone here with a mexican carrier, pls help D; and other thing, the touch bottoms of my s7 edge dont work, i hope with the update repair it, or someone know a solution to solve it? (only back and multitask dont wotk)

Hello dear people from the all knowing android community,
Today I fixed my old phone (galaxy s6 edge plus) by exchanging the battery myself (ty youtube). I wanted to do so to get back some old pictures from a brighter time & to maybe check if I still have logged in on some accounts there. I am pretty sure my fingerprint is still in the system but since its rebooted I have to use the pincode again.. Its been 3 years and I tried every combo I could think of but no success.. Anyone knows if its possible to bypass the pincode?
I'm eager to hear from you all
