Got an unlock code from AT&T, but I can't seem to be able to get to the point where I can punch it in and unlock the phone (no, I do not have a SIM card). Any advice? I tried a bunch of codes to get it to unlock mode, none works. Currently running CM13 on my 1337.

In order to be promoted for sim unlock code or to enter the unlock code using the dialler menu, the phone needs to be running a stock or close to stock rom with the stock dialler.

A few months ago I had called t-mobile to unlock my phone. I put a foreign sim in and I entered in the unlock code.
Since then I have wiped my phone numerous times and installed different android builds.
1) If I am to go out of the country again and put the foreign sim card in.. will it work right away or will I have to enter the unlock code again?
2) If answer to #1 is entering code again, will the code be the same or will I have to call again?

I've just received my code and entered it with a disallowed SIM, it tells me network unlock successful but remains out of any kind of signal.
It then throws up the SIM unlock screen if I airplane mode on/off.
Is it possible to unlock via Android or will I need to reinstall some kind of Windows Mobile to do so?
Is it possibly just my ROM? (Typhoon).
My contract is up on the 28th so quick replies would be great

should work regardless of the os installed on the device, it unlocks it on a hardware level
i got my unlock code and used android to unlock and not had any issues, sounds like the code you have moight only be a temporary code

But the code doesn't actually allow me to use the (O2) SIM... It just says that it is unlocked.
What ROM?
I get a "SIM unlock successful" message regardless of what code I enter.
Tried on Typhoon, NexusHD Gingerbread and official MIUI.
Trying NexusHD Froyo to see if it's a GB issue :/

I wanted to unlock it for use over seas, so I rooted the phone and installed CyanogenMod cm-10.2-20130925-UNOFFICIAL-expressatt but the phone still has a carrier lock on it. I now have a unlock code but can not get the prompt by using #7465625*638*CODE# because it give me a no network message. When I insert a different sim it does not recognize it. It only has the icon for the sim with a ? make on it.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hello, I used the SIM unlock method from the thread here on XDA and was able to successfully unlock my phone and use it on a foreign network. A bit later I had a problem with my Bluetooth so I did a factory reset, and now the phone says 'sim not allowed mm #3' when i put in a foreign SIM.
The frustrating part is that when I go to the unlock menu there is a list of various logging methods, but every one of them says 'Phone is not personalized' which means the phone is unlocked, so there is no way to reenter an unlock code.
Is there a wwayas to check and change the software lock status?
