hello, I had a version of cm10 installed on rom slot 1 of safestrap, and then I unlocked my boot loader, and installed TWRP recovery, I tried restoring the backup of cm10 I had made on Safestrap, and now I'm in a bootloop and I can't access TWRP recovery. I would really appreciate some help.
EDIT: Never Mind I found a way to go into recovery and was able to restore the backup of my stock rom.
Dear XDA Members
I have a Galaxy s4 GT-I9505 i had an old version of Omega Rom on my galaxy and everything was workin smooth. But i decided to flash a new rom and do a factory reset and delete all data then i flashed A modifyed stockrom with TWRP it was working fine until i restarted the phone and it stuck on the galaxy s4 Boot logo so i went to recovery and flashed it again with wipe/dalvik etc. I saw in TWRM the system was unmounted so i mounted it again. and flashed the same rom again. it was booting and after i was able to us the rom again until i restarted the phone and it stuck again
I then downloaded the Google stock rom for s4 and flashed it via TWRP after i could start the rom and could use it but when i restarted the phone it was stuck again on s4 boot logo. After dath i wiped and factory reseted many times and tried 3...4 other roms but i allways had the same problem.. i also tried an original stock rom via ODIN but this wont start at all. One thing i mentioned in TWRP under Mount it allways kiks out the System mount.
I tried to fix it for 8h now and cant find a way.. so i need Your help have you got any Idea what is wrong with my galaxy ?
thanks in afford

I have a problem about backup my rom by TWRP 3.0.2.1.
So i try to flash TWRP 2.8.7.0-i9500 and make a backup, it didn't work.
So i flash again TWRP 3.0.2.1 and take a backup, didn't work. I restart to my phone and stuck in bootloop.
I try to re flash my rom again and it still stuck in bootloop now.
Please, any one help me.
What should i do ?
It did restart and go to bootloop again (
I still can go to TWRP and i am reflashing the rom again. Hope it will work.
EDIT: it worked
Read earlier that newer version was not loki'ed so if the bootloader was locked it might complain? Try 2.8.7.0
I have a systemless-rooted SM950FD model with AQDG firmware/baseband, with TWRP.
Before anything took place I backed up with TWRP 3.1.0 the essentials: boot, recovery, system, data, baseband & efs.
Wanting to update to the latest AQH3 firmware without losing any data, I used the 'TWRP-flashable' firmware provided by Renovate here http://www.renovate-themes.de/firmware.html
This zip claims to update bootloader, modem and TWRP.
The update seemed to go well, but when I rebooted I the phone was stuck on Galaxy S8 logo. TWRP disappeared, as did any other recovery, so I had to flash TWRP from ODIN (at which point I updated to latest TWRP version, 3.1.1-2)
Now back on TWRP, I am trying to restore a bootable system from my backup, but no combination has worked for me so far. I always do a quasi-full wipe (system, caches, data) and restore boot/system/data/baseband/efs (with minor variations between the 5). So far nothing has succeeded in booting the phone, it always gets stuck at the Galaxy S8 screen.
At this point I could totally install a stock-like rom which will fast-forward me to the latest version, but since my goal was to keep my original stock rom without losing sms/apps, I would at least need to boot up once in my original backed up state.
Any ideas?
Thank you very much,
Batman Rom Is very close to stock.
I would say flash that one. In fact it's better than stock.

Thank you, I ended up flashing a custom ROM, unfortunately I did not have time to do this intermediary step, but thank you!
