Hi,
I recently managed to brick my Lenovo A6000 Single SIM Version phone by installing a custom ROM. I managed to flash a new stock ROM but its for the dual sim version. Can anyone provide me with a link to a stock ROM for the single SIM version? I have searched the internet and I can only get the dual sim stock ROM.
Single SIM version has never get an update to LP. There's only KK for A6000-m. You can use ROM's for dual SIM.

The ROM I have can only create a data connection using a SIM card that was inside when I installed the ROM. This means that the only way to make a data connection work for a different SIM card is to factory reset the phone with that SIM card inside. Can you provide me with a link to the KK ROM for single SIM?

It has failed to flash the zip file, gives me an error that "Package expects build fingerprint of Lenovo/Kraft......... (long description here).
I think that's because I have a different Lollipop ROM. How can I download the entire ROM?

If you cant get the link for the stock rom, maybe you can try other roms which hopefully will not create the data connection problem for you

Hi Guys, like many of you I have been searching all over the forum on how to get the GPE Rom working on our dual sim variant of the Moto G. Most of us can do away with a single sim and seldom use the second one. After experimenting with the NON-HLOS.bin and fsg.mbn, I found out that the GPE rom doesn't work even if we retain the fsg or modem from the Asia-Retail dual sim roms. So here goes the guide on how to make the GPE rom work with a single sim on the XT1033. You'll need to have adb and fastboot installed or download the minimal adb and extract the contents to the rom folder.
1) Flash complete stock 4.4.2 Retail-GB or (MIRROR- Thanks aqcohen) rom. You'll have a working single sim. (You can use the attached Retail_GB.bat. Copy it over to the extracted folder and run it.)
2) Download and extract The GPE or (GPE MIRROR- Thanks aqcohen) rom.
3) Replace the GPE_XT1032_KOT49H.M004_CFC.bat with GPE_XT1033_KOT49H.M004_CFC.bat (attached) and run it.
4) You should now have the GPE rom with a single sim working.
P.S. This should work with other AOSP based roms like CM which are built for XT1032. Also you can try flashing 'only' the baseband (fsg.mbn) and modem (NON-HLOS.bin) of Retail-GB firmware and see if primary sim works on CM roms.
To flash specific partitions, edit the batch file accordingly.
Press THANKS if worked.
I did confuse with
1) Flash complete stock 4.4.2 Retail-GB rom. You'll have a working single sim. (You can use the attached Retail_GB.bat. Copy it over to the extracted folder and run it.)
if "You'll have a working single sim." then it's finish step ? sorry to ask

No. By that I meant you'll have the stock Retail-GB rom with single sim functionality.
How to work with two sim?

For AOSP roms try this.
Flash Retail-GB firmware (or only the modem and baseband.)
Flash Custom Recovery.
Flash XT1032 AOSP Based rom like CM.

Only one sim should be working. Did you flash the GPE rom using the batch file attached?? Or else you must have flashed the GPE baseband and modem too. You have to use the Retail-GB NON-HLOS.bin and fsg.mbn to get network. Flash according to the OP.
Nope.... Followed instructions in op.... I downloaded n tried with Brazilian single Sim rom also... Not working

Yep. Thought so. Thanks for reporting.
Thanks for reporting guys! I will also be trying this very soon. I'm probably going to be moving to GPE ROM.
On Moto G XT1033
Won't work!
Hey there!
I've already tried and tested flashing Retail.GB modem/radio over AOSP ROMs like CarbonROM, LiquidSmoothROM, and it doesn't work.
ParanoidAndroid does work on XT1033 [Single Sim] by flashing the extra file mentioned in the thread (here) but flashing the same file on other AOSP ROMs dosen't help (the same call not hanging up problem persists).
From what I understand, Doublepranks has ported CM for XT1033 (here) and its the only AOSP ROM which works with single-sim enabled.
I assume it won't be hard to merge AOSP based ROMs with Doublepranks's sources, but I suppose I'll wait until the official CM includes support for XT1033 (as mentioned on CM wiki -- read here).
That is, until a more elegant solution comes along. Fingers crossed! :fingers-crossed:
Edit: By doesn't work, I meant to say partially doesn't work. Internet works just fine, but calling is buggy [can't hang-up the call/Can't receive calls].
Edit: PA is also AOSP. So that makes it 2 AOSP ROM which work with XT1033.

GPE rom works fine. No issues with the primary sim. It's my daily driver now. Don't know about other AOSP based roms.
I have a trouble with my k3 note (k50-t3s) i tried many rom but still the imei is not permanent and will disappear after restart. I tried alot of tools such SN&IMEI writer, MAUI META, Droid MTK, Chamelephon and Mobile Uncle tools as well also not working even with root access.. And i tried another way which replace the MP0B_001 file with the new one that i have generate, also not working. The rom the i tried before is K50a40_S112_150610_ROW, K50a40_S427_160518_ROW and Lenovo_K3_Note_MTK6752_Android_5.0_20150513_(by_xd afirmware.com) . all able to flash and only imei problem cannot be solved by above method.. Oh ya another way that didnt work as well is engineering mode 3646633 .. i put space before the + and after the + also not able.. and also by replacing nvram folder also not working...But when i using this K50-t3s_USR_ST1532_5.219.1_1508061807_MP6V3_CN rom.. but its china version .. no gapps, no multilang, but the imei is working and wont missiing after restart. But the chinese rom only can detect 2G network..why happen actually?
Hey i can help you =)
hey maybe I could help you, cause I faced the same problem when I flashed with full format + download with sp flash tool, it took my total 1-day effort to fix all of these problems,

Yes i tried that method before but still not working.. Just now i took out my brother k3 note phone for experiment and format it then download using sp flash and the imei is invalid but i manage to rewrite the imei using Chamelephon (i rooted the phone) and it works.. But why i not able to rewrite my imei for my k3 note.. thats weird.. even i tried using same row rom..
You root ur phone and login to google play store then download an app named 'chamelephon' which will work perfectly with imei re generation.. I always use it..

Is the SIM recognized? If so, it's probably an APN issue, you may have to configure it manually... Who is your carrier?

My SIM / Phone was working before flashing different roms. I believe the problem began with I flashed this one: XT1575 Stock 6.0.1 Odexed Custom (with May security update) located here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...rom-stock-rooted-debloated-x1575-6-0-t3262242
The solution was to find a rom that also has / had the modem. I loaded TruPureXMM. It didn't fix the problem so I flashed it a second time and flashed their old MM-Pure-Modem zip - that fixed the problem
When ever i flash asop or cm or miui rom , i get no simcard error. I flashed indian modem and tried to restore efs, but problem not solved. pls help me.

After my disaster that was flashing the JUI rom I've had an ongoing issue with flashing ROMS.
First some background I flashed the JUI rom which "upgraded" the firmware. In order to go back to my preferred Rom (Turbo's MAIU rom) I did the following:
Formatted all inc internal.
Flashed the Chinese v19 Rom
Followed the guide to flash each part individually to o return to "stock"x720. This was each firmware file including modem.
Flashed the ROM for people with x727 that flashed to x720. It supposedly reflashed firmware to x727.
Flashed modem to x727 modem then wiped the modem partitions to reset everything.
If I restore a backup everything is fine. Stock x727 or Miau.
If I flash a new ROM (Omni Lineage anything but stock) it lists my model as x720 and says there is no SIM. Seems AOSP and 7.x roms think it's a x720. I've tried the persist.radio.multisim.config=dsds and =NA but neither on works. Still sees no SIM.
Anything I can do to get this back to a true x727?

I've had the same issue and I wish I had an answer but as of yet I don't.Its aggravating to say the least.Getting the status 7 error really p*sses me off.For now what I've been doing is changing the updater script to reflect that my device is a 720.
The way I fixed it is manually flashing the CN to US rom by uinpacking the zip and then following the guide to restore from JUI. There is one file I think that is missing from the list of files which I grabbed from the X720 and my phone is back to perfect now.
I'll give that a shot I have it running but still says it is a x720. I flashed the files you mentioned but from another zip and after flashing the files it at least sees the Sim card. I can put on lineage or other aosp roms and the sim works but it says it's a x720. I'll give your solution a try thanks.
has anyone found a solution for this because today i flashed flyme os for x720 and i forgot that the developer said dont try flashing it on x727 and now i dont have any sim network on any x727 based roms and also the nougat roms? Any ideas for now ? i flashed miui and china 26s rom of turbo and they gave me sim network but i want to go back to nougat?

Lol today was a long day i flashed like 10 roms and formatted the phone more than 20 times.
Thanks for all the help guys. I think I figured out what made the difference... the file devinfo.img was not in the zip I had originally flashed (it was a "full" .21 package including firmware). Once I flashed that file my phone was back to a X727. I had gotten the modem fixed prior to that thanks to the Turbo and others.
