Do you think we recieve android 6.0.1 firmware later? Z3 series got android 6.0.1 so why we are on 6.0 only?

I've found no information on a possible update to MM 6.0.1 for the Z4T. but I hope Sony continues to update the Z4T.
Have you made the update to 32.1.A.1.185 ?

Yes, did the update to 32.1.A.1.185 already. Hope for 6.0.1 as the Xperia z3 series got this update now and i think z5 series (and hopefully z4 tablet) which is running on 6.0 will also recieve the latest fw...hopefully!
Just got 32.1.A.1.185. Showing Android 6.0. LTE SGP771 bought and used in Malaysia.
Anybody know what's new with this?

So excited to see what brings to us!
but seems that is just for the Z1 compact, as i have seen earlier today
cheers
It's not for the Z1 Compact... As I said, I scanned all C6902, C6903, C6906 and C6943 customizations, and this one showed for C6903.
Finally I'm returning from work and very soon I'll upload the FTF (already got the SIN_FILE_SETs).
Unfortunately, finding all changes will not be that easy since this branding jumped directly from 14.1.G.2.257 to 14.2.A.1.142, but I'll try comparing it to an unbranded 14.2.A.1.136, it might give some hints.

Please share any new thing you find (if any). My bet is that .142 (for Z1 and Z1 Compact) is a variant especially made for Telekom.de, with some minor modifications to suit the operator's needs, but that's my guess.
New firmware 14.2.A.1.142 certified for Xperia Z1, Z Ultra and Z1 Compact .
Sony Mobile has just certified a new firmware build with version number 14.2.A.1.142 for the Xperia Z1 (C6902, C6903, C6943, C6906), Xperia Z Ultra (C6802, C6833, C6843, C6806) and Xperia Z1 Compact (D5503). This new firmware most likely brings some bug fixes and performance enhancements, given that the small incremental number upgrade from the last firmware (14.2.A.1.136)

Xperia Z3 build number 23.0.1.A.5.77 certified for D6603 and D6653 variants
Source: http://www.xperiablog.net/2014/12/0...-5-77-certified-for-xperia-z3-and-z3-compact/
Nice! I hope this update refines the camera app.
Can I flash it on locked BL?
really doesn't mean sh!t until it's released. so many times they've certified a firmware and never end up releasing it.
Hello guys which version is the newest i had 93
Sent from my D6603 using XDA Free mobile app
I'm confused by this compilation number... For older Sony smartphones jump from **.0.*.*.** to **.0.1.*.*.** meaned new small version of Android (4.4.2 -> 4.4.4) with some major updates, like new system UI.
Maybe they fix biggest bugs or maybe this is a test version of lollipop.
Duplicate thread, please continue here
Just received new update for my xperia z3 D6653, testing now, so far icons looks bit biggers, font is different, it has portrait retouch built in.
I am just DL it now. Any other changes yet?
I still stucked in 23.0.A.2.93 version ,should i flash my devices? Why it won't get update? (i have flashed soft with central europe 1 official rom)
It all depends where u r from. For the past few days others have been getting a different update

This firmware is old, even .93 is newer. try to upgrade to 23.0.1.A.5.77
If it's old why this fw has feutures, which were missing in. 93, and how updater managed to give me notification (i was on. 93) for older update???
That's from plugging into the Sony website so it is newer than 93
Yes it's newer, because.77 is for D6603 my Z3 is D6653 sony website didn't update website info i think, but let's wait for more users to get that update. Phone looks much snappier than.93
I agree with the fact phone feels faster but apart from that have not noticed much else. There was NFC as part of the update
True, nothing major, i also noticed NFC update on first start after update
But definitely snappier in normal use. Whatever lag there was has gone

firmware 23.0.1.A.5.77 is for both 6603 and 6653. just check Xperifirm.
here is the correct order:
^^ confirmed - I am running 6653 firmware 1288-4247 23.0.1.A.5.77 R9B. downloaded from Xperifirm and flashed his morning. (unlocked BL, also flashed custom kernel & re-rooted.)
To @all
I'm pretty sure that flashing a new rom from scratch with Flashtool, is a lot better than updating your rom via OTA. It's like upgrading Windows XP to Windows 7 keeping software..... your system becomes slow and unstable.
While isn't a root method for Xperia Z3, you still can flash a new rom from scratch saving your app data with Helium, this is like titanium backup, but without root. just read and learn.
PS: I'm sure that this is the last firmware update untill lollypop.
regards.

Battery life improved for me especially standby time now draining at most 3% overnight as opposed to 5 before.
I wonder how different this update is to the other one people r getting. I have the same features and it still won't update anymore
ROM downloaded with XperiFirm and pre-rooted with PRFCreator.
CDA (customization version): 1280-7864
It will flash SuperSU and LockedDualRecovery (it will overwrite your current recovery).
You need to be on any rooted ROM already with custom recovery to flash a .zip file with this firmware!
You don't loose any data, you keep root, you update your firmware to the newest Lolipop build .270.

Tnx guys !!
5.1.1 update seems is not that far away.
On my Nexus 7 2013 working perfect, final and polished version.
Hope same will be on a Z1 compact, .242 firmware is fine for me, except ocassional ram/redraw apps problems, typical for 5.0.2 android.
Can someone check please if there's an Hebrew keyboard?
Hi,
I searched for instructions flashing from .zip file but I couldn't find any. Could you please describe the steps?
Thanks and regards.
You can flash this only if you have Custom Recovery flashed in your phone. If you have then boot into it, choose Flash .ZIP file or similar feature and you flash it. You have to put the .zip file on the SD card before this step.
If you don't have Custom Recovery or don't know how to use it - this is not a thread for you, sorry.
Region
Now I have a doubt, if I flash this in Spain, would it work? Is Europe, but no central...
Does Xposed work fine with this update?
Hello , will we receive next update 14.5.A.0.283 ???? Or will we have to update through pc companion or so please ?????
Thanks
I will post .283 version when it will be available for Central Europe region. So far it's available for T-mobile branded regions only.

The version of this PRF is 5.0.2, the 5.1.1 has not been released by Sony yet.
He meant if he will get the update notification once Sony releases 5.1.1 with this ROM installed. My thoughts are probably yes you will get notification since this is stock basically.

Well I am hope that the time to marshmallow will not be so long

I think he said that because some E variants shipped with 5.0.2 (such as the Verizon variant). Some of the international variants are behind in updates, 5.1.1 (w/ stage fix) is the one that's desirable.

This is true, and that may matter for some things but the important thing in this case is that Moto posed a 5.0.x update as 5.1.x, which is shameful, and there is a years-long pattern of failing to update that we want them to fix.
