TWRP & Custom Kernel & Xposed - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

I used CF auto root but would like xposed. I need TWRP but it says I need a custom kernel due to DM verity or something? How have people got round this?

You don't need TWRP to flash Xposed FlashFire works as well

Root failure

Hey guys, I'm pulling my hair out over here trying to figure out what is going on.
I loaded PhilZ recovery, via odin, that went fine. I then loaded arter97-kernel-g928tw8-11.0 kernel, no problems there.
I reboot the phone, go into the play store, and download SU and root checker. I then attempted to run root checker and after 2 tries, it fails and tells me there is no root access on my phone. Something isn't right and I'm not sure what it is. I have been rooting and installing custom roms since the Droid X was a big deal, never had a problem until now.
Anyways, phone is a T-Mobile version of the galaxy S6 edge+.

Alright, I uninstalled SU and installed it via recovery and it is giving me the same issue. "Sorry! Root access is not properly installed on this device"

One click root options

Hey guys I've been away from XDA for the last few years. I was just wondering if there was an easy one click root apk. that I could download for easy access to root my sprint edge plus. I don't think I'll be flashing any ROMs or changing much I'm just looking to download a few root apps for gaming. If anyone could confirm an easy method I would really appreciate it.

I stand corrected...after checking Chainfires CF auto root site I see where G928C and several other G928 devices are on the list of supported devices. Excellent call

Cf auto root it's a little more difficult than a one click root. I'm having trouble finding a clear cut instruction guide that I understand. But it looks like cf-auto-root needs a computer? Can someone help clear this up for me? Sorry...

I'm horrible with computers and understanding files and everything... but I really need to gain access for apps such as Xmodgames and a few other things. What are some other safe things to do after rooting with CF auto root?
Can someone please confirm the link below is the correct method?

It's pretty straightforward actually I'm no computer geek

Why would you want to use Kingroot when Chainfires CF AUTOROOT works for the G935F?
It's safe and super easy and you can't root without tripping knox anyway.

I ask because it's capable of not tripping knox on other devices, like the Galaxy Note 4 US variant. Temporary root only though. And I don't want to loose Samsung Pay...

Good enough reason as long as you don't install TWRP you shouldn't have a problem with tripping Knox

Search functions are used for that very reason.
A simple search would've shown it doesn't work and a useless thread wouldn't have been started.

#1 Rule, Search. Then you you insult someone because the point out the Rule. Then you want to report it...
Since you are not a new Member, but looking at your post count, I will remind you to Re-Read the Forum Rules on Searching and Conduct.
Next time someone outlines information for you, how about taking heed to the info, and next time say thanks vice posting in this manner.
