The images you uploaded have very low quality and I couldn't see them.
I want to know the difference between two tar files.
And
What XAS does mean exactly?

Most important: no wipe data.
So here are the differences.
I tried to upload the pics.
So there is no carrier bloatware.
What about supporting international languages?
Are all display languages available? Instead of 4 or 5 only?

Someone can correct me if im wrong. The XAS and SPR are the region codes that have to do something with branding and customizing a device for a particular region.
But your question helped me notice the size difference.
Usually the Roms on sammobile that i download are the same size despite the code. But I see this official one is bigger. Hopefully someone with better knowledge than me can chime in on this.
Cause my concern would be that i hope this one doesnt have a locked bootloader or anything that would prevent us from downgrading or rooting.
If one of these awesome Devs on this site could chime in, that would be great.
Sorry if i wasnt much help, but my original intention of this thread was to just inform everyone that it was posted on sammobile and provide a faster download.
edit:? Sorry was accidentally comparing to OK1 Rom. Opened wrong file. This one is the same besides the differences stated on Post #3 or #7
Crap, i'm getting a sprint logo boothang. =\

All these 2 tars have no international languages. Have same languages as previously firmware.
Got it.
Found in another thread somebody had same problem, they fixed doing a factor reset from the stock bootloader.

Updated (Generic Thailand). The only change I found is that Location toggle switch label is changed from "Lokasyon" (I think this word is in Tukish or Tagalog) to "ตำแหน่งที่ตั้ง"
Otherwise I haven't seen any change. Perhaps, It's just minor fixes due to language errors.

Changed from "Lokasyon" or changed to? Anyway, yeah Lokasyon or Lugar is the Tagalog counter part of Location here in the Philippines. Probably same as with Turkish.

Well it IS on SamMobile and labeled as T-Mobile USA: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N910T3/
There are actually SM-N910T, SM-N910T2, and SM-N910T3 acording to the Bluetooth SIG site: https://www.bluetooth.org/tpg/QLI_viewQDL.cfm?qid=25312
My guess is they are just different hardware revisions of the T-Mobile USA variant. I remember the Note 3 had at least two hardware revisions, the second one had a different display driver chip than the first one and TRWP had to build a new version for it to make the screen brightness work again.
This firmware image could be just a "common" firmware image for all three revisions.

Thus I can flash my Note 5 ( N920IDVU2AOJ3) with the version given here ( N920CXXU1AOH2) in order to get French?
In my searches I also found others ROM (on "ndroidzone") around N920IDVU1AO and many different letters at the end.
Is their compatibility with my phone better and how to know if those there contain French?

How can that be when they are the same phone just different region.
They have exact same hardware inside .
Do you know a technical reason why same phones can not use MM
The modem/baseband part is different in these two phones. I am 99% sure if you flash either phone with the others firmware you will end up with a softbricked phone.
Baseband and modem only affect the ability to use network so if your country doesn't have that frequency then yes phone won't work..won't soft brick but won't get any signal either..
They are identical phones expect they are made for different regions...
Mine is optus AU the c model could be anything from Afghanistan to Vietnam. ..

I did change my CSC to INS so im wonder if its gonna to work.. maybe VPN will be needed.
I tried connecting to an UK VPN but it did not work for me. I'm on INS CSC.
I hope someone would be able to pull the OTA update and share it for everyone else like someone did when OneUI 3 beta was going on last year. Pretty sure flashing the BTU rom will work but I wouldnt go through that hassle since I have my watch also paired with the phone. Reseting the firmware would require me to setup the watch all over again and in case of LTE watch, it is a nightmare since the telecom provider here has ****ty system, they struggle to remove the number previously paired with watch. It took me a week and dozens of frustrating calls with them to sort the issue out last time.
Wow thanks for sharing. There is no update about this anywhere else. Hopefully we in US can get it soon too.
Can someone catch the URL?
How to capture:
Install HTTP Canary app: https://m.apkpure.com/httpcanary-—-http-sniffer-capture-analysis/com.guoshi.httpcanary
1. Load canary
2. Start the update download but don't pause it.
3. Go back to canary and start that and it will grab the link.
