Hello
I've managed to download an update for B201 to MM B352, using a Chinese proxy.
If anyone wants to play with it, just download it from here:
https://mega.nz/#!wwMTFTjS!1z9xygbiNTO66_zkwxOHtw9SLI_EQVTRzUZU-kh2BSo
Save it on internal storage or SD and go to Settings -> Updater -> Menu -> Local Update to apply it.
This is *not* an update to be applied using TWRP or 3btn method.
When I installed it my phone was using stock recovery, bootloader was unlocked and it was not rooted.
After installing it everything works fine, TWRP works fine, but it will stop working after installing SuperSU.
Not sure why.
So, right now, I'm back to Lollipop B201, which is geat.
UPDATE: using SYSTEMLESS install for SuperSU I was able to install it.
Now I have everything working, including notifications.
Regards.

my phone hangs on the startup.

Yes, I have the same problem, but after installing SuperSU
You have to use fastboot mode and run multi-tool unbrick method.
I have stock rom, with stock recovery. How can i do? How can put the Phone in fastboot mode?
i'm still blocked from that day. with a phone that doesn't go in fastboot and remain with the honor logo.
but a full firmware of marschmallow?
Is this *REALLY* meant for UL-00?
Hi there
Efforts much appreciated mate ...
Looking at all the bootlooped replies - is this firmware *really* meant for the PLK UL-00 (India version)?
OTA doesn't show any B352; nor does the official websites... B341 seems to be the latest firmware for the Indian variant.
So .... Just wondering - is it some typo ? Is this meant for some other variant of Honor 7 ? CL-00 maybe? ... Even the older B201 you have mentioned in the OP - isn't among the firmware builds that the Indian UL-00 has come through... i think.
--
Would be nice to see some changelog or a screenshot or something
--
If it is a typo error, please do change it in the title.
Hi
There are two variants of version UL00, C17 from China and C675 from India.
I have the one from China, it's dual SIM.

Hey I have got the Indian Version B341. I just wanted to share a problem that I am facing.
My phone is slow charging due to update perhaps. Earlier the phone used to charge really fast now it takes more than 2 hours and sometimes even close to 3 hours.
I have tried Hardware Reset but was not of much help.
Has anyone solved this problem. Btw I am using 5V2A charger, supplied with the device, which took very little time to charge earlier. And also when the phone is switched off it charges really fast but the phone heats up a lot.

Right...
The firmware in the phones we got (the single SIM Indian variant of UL00) does indeed say C675 - I just checked after your screen shot.
Thanks

So, i am still wondering - is this firmware gonna brick the C675 single sim variant?
Replace PLK-UL00 Chinees version with PLK-L01 EU version
Hi,
did anyone try to replace the PLK-UL00 Chinese version with PLK-L01 EU version, is this possible without bricking the phone ?
I have rooted my PLK-UL00C17 (Dual SIM) with TWRP 3.0.2.0 Recovery for PLANK, running build PLK-UL00_6.5.16 from 1 May 2016, Titanium Backup and SuperSU Free v2.62
I tried to get rid of the Chinese stuff, but no luck, it keeps popping up everywhere.
So is it possible to replace the Chinese firmware / ROM with the EU firmware / ROM ?
Thanks,
This update bootlooped my phone and now I can't fix it.. £200 paperweight now

So I just got my Mate 7 today (MT7-L09) and I'm having a bit of a hard time keeping up with all the different update versions and everything. Currently I'm on B331 and I wanted to try this latest MM ROM, B560. I downloaded the full firmware but it's C432 and currently I'm on C900. I've read of a lot of people bricking their devices so I wanted to make sure this would work before I went for it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

From B331 you need to upgrade to B522 and then it automatically updates to B560 from the Updater.
Both the 522 and 560 are EU ROMS like the 331 you currently have installed. The risk of bricking the device using official updates is close to negligible.

I fear I managed to bricked my L09 yet again. I tried to upgrade to MM B560 directly from KK B145 using the 1.2 gb full update file. I put the update.zip file in the dload folder and started a local update. The software started upgrading with the following message.
"Huawei software installing DONOT press powerkey or remove battery!
The update went up almost 98% and is stuck there for the last 90 minutes. I dont see any hope that the updrage will ever complete even if I leave it alone for ever. Going by the warning on the screen, I might break the phone, If I long press the power key. Please let me know what I need to do now?

yes you did , you can't upgrade from kitkat to marshmallow , i only got my mate 7 few days ago and it was also on kitkat, there are a lot of post in this forum with guide how to upgrade and what not to do , my guess is you didn't read any of them .
at this point what you can try is put the kitkat firmware on your sd card and try to force the installation using the 3 buttons trick (volume up+volume down+power)
hi can someone please upload twrp backup of B560 so we can install it through twrp instead of getting default recovery then the procedure kindly anyone of them who have got MT7 TL09 and updated to B560 kindly make a clean backup after installing the fresh rom and upload it so users can install the same......!!

Thank you for responding touns_j. I knew the standard procedure of upgrading from KK to LP and then to MM. Couple of weeks back I came to know that it's possible to upgrade from KK to MM directly. However looks like this does not apply to B560. My attempt from B145 to B560 failed because either of the following 2 reasons.
(1) Only devices on B331 or B522 can be upgraded to B560.
(2) The vendor and country information needs to be EU.
I took the risk and booted my phone to recovery mode and then did a factory reset. The device is alive again. I'll try again after upgrading to B331 first.

Move this app to "dload" folder on SD card and local update.
Other step - update via three buttons (or projectmenu) , but erase data and relock bootloader.

All Nougat to P9 Lite have first number 3... Example B380.
You must at first change vendor, then flash firmware of that vendor.

This is list of vendors. Change via TWRP.
1. Flash location zip
2.Flash firmware zip
3.Reboot and factory reset
This is to get ММ . After you can flash Nougat also via TWRP , or get OTA.

Have P9 VNS-DL00C17B245
Hello friends, I Have Huawei P9 VNS-DL00C17B245. This Chinese version phone is a big headache.
I have VNS-L23 and it is everything I need and want. So I bought another one for my wife. But this guy sent me the wrong phone. And it is expensive to ship, to where I live.
I have flashed ROMS to SAMSUNG before. Quite simple.
Is it possible to flash same as VNS-L23 to the VNS-DL00C17B245? If not, please advise me how to put the correct software on a Huawei.
P.s. SD card reader not working on this phone and neither is sim slot 2, which are the same spots. I imagine Huawei disabled this for China. I thought I read something about this somewhere. You probably tell I have been at this for three days.
Help me please.
Have P9 VNS-DL00C17B245
I already posted here, but no response. I have ADB, TWRP and and phone is rooted. I want to put EMUI 5 with Android 7. Is it possible, how to do it? I am five days on same phone, full days, I tried everything, I read everywhere. I want to throw the phone against the wall now.
It is a P9 VNS-DL00C17B245 but on the back cover it says VNS-AL00.
The SD card reader is not working and also the SIM SLOT 2, which is the same slot as the SD Card Reader.
I received the phone like this, after purchasing it full price, and had it sent. Was meant to arrive a VNS-L23 but the seller was a mother ****er. And I bought it via my sister in the USA, and I live in Venezuela. I am stuck with this piece of ****. I really need any help I can get,
thank you!
Hello,
I have a Nova CAN-L11 with unlocked bootloader and TWRP 3.0.2.0.
I played with recovery and root and at the end I had the only chance to restore the backup described and linked here (click).
But now I'm on CAN-L11C432B100 and I would like to update to CAN-L11C432B142.
I know, I can't do that with the normal update function.
And I have no idea, how I can get the update.zip from this link (click), which is the update to CAN-L11C432B142CUSTC432D001, in my system.
That's why I want to ask::
Is there perhaps anyone, who is still on firmware CAN-L11C432B142 with unlocked bootloader and TWRP 3.0.2.0?
Would it be possible to make a Nandroid-backup and share it?
Many thanks in advance,
AEOne

Hello!
I read that you have to reinstall stock ROM to be able to update your phone again through Settings > Update. After reinstalling the stock ROM, the bootloader gets relocked and TWRP dissapear and those two are required in order to be able to update your phone again through Settings > Update. I repeat, that's what I read like 1 week ago.
I also read that stock ROM can be downloaded with Firmware Finder. Someone said that the files are from official Huawei servers.
How to install it? I'm not sure at all as I'm still new to Huawei and I haven't tried myself this.
However, there is a guide for Huawei G8 about how to install stock ROM. The method described there should work on Nova as well, but you should skip to step 6) at the method "Install using force update". I'm sure you can find other guides as well for other Huawei phones.
I've downgraded from Nougat to MM by using same TWRP backup. I haven't tried yet to reinstall stock ROM to get official update functionality again. I'm still running on that TWRP backup.
I would like you to let me know how it goes.

Hi,
thanks for your answer.
But sadly I didn't reinstall stock ROM like you described in your first sentence.
I "downgraded" (not really, but with the same way and result) with the mentioned TWRP backup.
Now I'm on CAN-L11C432B100.
I also would reinstall the stock ROM again, but sadly the Firmware Finder doesn't find a CAN-L11C432B100 full rom.
But I would like to update to CAN-L11C432B142, because this version has newer Google security updates and "Ok, Google" works.
If someone has a hint how can I do the update without the build-in update function (because of I'm on TWRP with unlocked bootloader), I would't need a full TWRP backup of CAN-L11C432B142.
Thanks,
AEOne

Hi XDA peeps,
I have recently brought a Huawei Mediapad M3 and i love it, but i would like to downgrade it so I can root it afterwards. Why downgrade? Because the on the official website where you're supposed to unlock the bootloader. You need to select whether the tablet is EMUI4/4.1 or EMUI 5. Because I have Nougat I do have EMUI 5, I need to select EMUI 5 on the website. However I can't set the category on "tablet", only "smartphone". It will ask for a IMEI/MEID number, which I dont have... You can select "tablet" only if I had EMUI4/4.1..

I was wondering if its possible to downgrade the M3(CN) to marshmellow. I saw there where tools available to downgrade for the US(Sorry, no US, my bad) and Eu version, but not for the chinese version. Does anyone know how to downgrade the M3? Or maybe a other way to unlock the bootloader, so i can install TWRP? I'd like to install a different rom.
Any other suggestions are welcome too!

I'm looking to downgrade the US version. Could you share where you found the tools to downgrade the US version? I've only been able to find rollback for the EU version.

I'd swear i'd found a roll back for US, but it seems it doesn't exist. Otherwise you'd be able to download it from the official Huawei website. Sorry man.
You need to install Huawei tablet software (can't remember the name) on your pc and in there it will give you an option to rollback. That's what I had to do, to downgrade.

You are the man! I installed HiSuite and it gave me the option to upgrade the firmware OR to downgrade to version Android 6.0 with EMUI 4.1.3(Chinese version). I've successfully got the unlock bootloader code from the huawei site. Going to install TWRP soon.. Thanks again!

*If you follow these instructions, do so at your own risk. I had success with it, I am not responsible for anything that might happen*
At this point, I could retrieve bootloader code from the huawei website and unlocked the tablet with these instructions: http://www.stechguide.com/unlock-bootloader-of-huawei-devices/
Installed ONLY twrp: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-m3/development/twrp-greatslon-mod-t3489232
Used "Firmware finder rewrite" to find the correct firmware. My case i wanted to flash to C100(EU): https://puu.sh/yjdFb/a295fb3207.png
Uploaded the zip files to the SD card, rebooted the tablet in TWRP(complete shutdown tablet, no cable connected, hold up and power button till screen turns on).
install update.zip then put the other zip in the queue. Install and reboot, enjoy.
It does not look like it comes with google play, browser or any bloatware(it dint work).
Since I now have EMUI 5, i needed to download twrp specially for emui 5.
Had some problems with not being able to open google play or gmail. I reinstalled the rom with this one: http://www.stechguide.com/huawei-mediapad-m3-b303-nougat-firmware/, cleared dalvik cache and set timezone in TWRP. After flashing the rom, did a factory reset. Now google play services work! Happy days

full miui 12.0.1.0 EU stock rom for poco f2 pro ,here
http://bigota.d.miui.com/V12.0.1.0.QJKEUXM/miui_LMIEEAGlobal_V12.0.1.0.QJKEUXM_b4672d12eb_10.0.zip
Is there anyway to extract the camera apk from the stock ROM?
Australia got MIUI 12 on Poco F2 Pro yesterday
see Title, got it in South Australia on 15th July
I have the global version (QJKMIXM) and am still did not get the MIUI 12 OTA update
It was showing me the update yesterday, but I was on a field trip and did not install it. Today it acts like it was nothing and no updates are available
I have problem with VoWiFi. Yesterday I got device, updated to MIUI12, enabled VoWiFi but not working. I'm connected to WiFi but shows icon of VoLTE. Service is activated on SIM card, and Xiaomi devices are certified by my operator because they sold Xiaomi devices in portfolio.
Before Poco I used RN8T and RN8 Pro and VoWiFi worked well...
Can I flash this on K30Pro? How does it compare to Xiaomi.eu rom? What's different between these two?
Why there is no new android 10 gestures and no control center?
I am using it too, it is faster than miui china which has a lot of ads and useless softwares, what's more, I have more available ram, because it needs less ram

Hi, did you installed this QJKEUXM stock ROM over the QJKCNXM stock ROM version, and that now all works fine ?
Did use twrp or just stock recovery ?
Is it safe to flash QJKEUXM if your phone comes with the global firmware (QJKMIXM)?

I flashed the complete package "miui_LMIEEAGlobal_V12.0.2.0.QJKEUXM_0b1adc6767_10.0.zip" with TWRP. The installation went totally OK.
But, before rebooting once, I flashed Magisk and wipe Dalvik & Cache... All I get was a Fastboot loop...
Well, to solve it I just flashed boot.img extracted from above package, then reboot once and finally reflash TWRP & Magisk.
So it can be flashed with TWRP without problems but leave it boot once before rooting (if you want to root, of course).
i flashed new firmwate ota package. i have still locket bootloader.

To install an official .zip package you don't need to Unlock & TWRP. You can use stock recovery, or TWRP (with the advise i gave before).
VLOG feature is working.
