I got the automatic system update notification for ics!

it downloaded the file, verified it, said it was going to reboot in 10, 9, 8, 7.. then said your system is up to date!?
Only thing I can think of is it aborted due to battery level?
B
exactly the same! What to do? dont want to wait for days again!
I've assumed it's battery and am charging now.. anyone else know what's going on?
The same issue with me...Don't have a clue what to do..
i9023? mines not rooted or anything "custom"
Me too! I just received the OTA notification, made a backup and clicked update.
Downloaded the 128mb file, file check was ok, pushed "restart and install" and instead it said that system is updated. Any help?
No root, stock 2.3.6, i9023
same here, my phone was on charge btw..
Anyone found a resolution for this yet? Received another OTA download?
Mine was on about 45% when I got OTA, plugged it in to my comp USB port before download started but still disappeared on countdown as well
not received another notification, how rubbish eh! maybe they somehow "pulled it" before it could damage something? dunno. I'm sure someone clued up might add something helpful.
This bug is so annoying, it was soo close!! Still haven't found anything about it on here or other sites, and still no new OTA message
Same here,
Just got the update OTA...finished downloading and began counting down for the restart. At 8 secs remaining it switched to saying "your system is currently up to date". I tried restarting with no luck!
WTF!!
I hope it comes back!
I have still recieved nothing! How long would it take? I have a normal nexus s, unbranded unrooted and all that stuff...

If you received an update notification a little while ago but the update isn't currently available for your phone, this is likely the result of Google pausing the update in your area while we monitor feedback. The Android 4.0 update is continuing to roll out around the world so your phone will receive another update notification when it's available again in your region.

That doesn't really address, RECEIVING, downloading, verifying and "ok'ing" the update, only for nothing to happen. V odd.
Same here..
Why don't, all of you, flash it manually? It's exact same as receiving the update ota.
I'm a new user so I can't attach link but if you go to the Google Mobile Help Forum you can see a thread, started by a user called Fozan, reporting the same issue.
Maybe it's better if you all report the problem there as well so Google can understand that we are a lot!
Open your dial pad and type in *#*#2432546#*#*
It automatically searches for updates !
Sent from my Nexus S using xda premium

AT&T G3 owners getting update last night

People on AT&T have reported getting a 164mb update on their G3. I actually got it today too. Suprised no one has metioned it here.
Just wondering if anyone know what changes were made in this update?
One thing I notice... the on-screen buttons... specifically the task-switching button... I hate that you press the task-switch to see all your apps and often it shows nothing and you have to hit it a second time or exit and go back into it to see all the apps running. Well, I've done it a few times and looks to be fixed. Anyone else notice?
There's already a thread started over here in the AT&T Section:

Thanks.

New firmware .224

Just received it via OTA, Germany, unbranded. Does anyone have experiences with that update?
It says that battery, Bluetooth and camera are improved...
Edit: Oops, already under discussion here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3293060
Please close thread.
Pretty solid update. You go from 6.0 to 6.0.1, you get newer security patches than what you had previously. WiFi/Bluetooth seem to work better so far. Pseudo-Stamina Mode is back. The battery panel is redesigned. "Until next alarm" is back in Priority Mode. New emojis. A ****load of bugfixes, etc.
Go for it. No reason to hold back
Thread closed, OP request

Software not updated to 25.11.10.en.US - Install deferred

I had been getting the update to Nougat message on Feb. 28th, but I decided I wanted to wait until "tomorrow" to do it. I went to bed. In the morning while I was still half asleep and trying to snooze my phone alarm I think I hit "something". Now in "System updates" my phone says "Software not updated to 25.11.10.en.US" and "Install deferred - March 01, 2017 at 7:37 AM." I did not intentionally defer my install at all, but guessing by the time I did something accidentally. When I go to "Check for system update" it says "Your device's software is up to date." So, now I can't update and I would really like to get Nougat on my Droid Turbo 2.
Please help. I would really like to get Nougat on here, but I don't want to have to resort to a factory reset.
Thanks in advance!
I'm not alone -
Mine reads:
Software not updated to 25.22.10 en. ...
Install deferred - February 28,2017.
It's either a major bug
OR VZW decided to 'throttle' the OTA rollout.
My guess is bug(s)
Install Deferred for 25.11.10 on Droid Turbo 2
I'm having the same issue. Have you seen any explanations out solutions?
Also, when I navigate to the Verizon update webpage for the Motorola Droid Turbo 2, it no longer lists the 25.11.10 update; it's simply gone. The most recent update listed is "24.31.22.kinzie_verizon.verizon.en.US". Is this the case for you, too?
Same issue! Help. Verizon days my phone is defective and tried to sell me a new one.

I can confirm that it is gone also from my Verizon Devices pages-
---------- Post added at 09:40 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:24 AM ----------
There is considerable chatter in the Verizon Community Forums about apps not working after update:
Netflix
Android Pay
Messaging including lost messages -
Have a look - I'm going offline for the rest of the morning.
Maybe a soak test? Maybe stop pushing?
I thought I was crazy, or not able to get the update. I have been checking for updates hourly for 3 days. Maybe it was a bad update and they pulled it?

retgb oreo update for moto g5 cedric OTA

I got a notification for the new Oreo update. See screenshot. Thought I'd post to let others know. retgb is for UK store bought phone. I've yet to install it and usually like to wait see if any problems before upgrading operating systems.

Yes it's still there when I turn on the screen or actually check for updates. I had no other update notifications since July security patch.
It was there when I checked updates this morning.
Installed, running smoothly, no issues so far
No issues here either.
Installed and working fine. Really like the power off or restart option. One new issue for me is you can no longer just click on the battery icon in the notification bar to get the charging graph. Something I have to do often because aging phone has habit of not going into the faster mains charger mode, and still discharges in usb mode...
Has anyone captured the OPP28.85-13 OTA?
