Hi, I have just started having the problem, everytime I turn my phone off and back on I get this page come up, then when I hit the back button it goes straight back to my homescreen! Does anyone have any ideas what's happening and how I can stop it?
Thanks
Pete

never seen before ... Whats your current rom?
I think this has to do with Profile sharing, go to Apps > Contacts > tap on 'My Profile' (top of the list) and check all settings. I disabled it fully, I noticed I got a message saying something my phone number was deactivated and it backed out of these settings itself. The number at the top of your screen wil be empty if all is deactivated.

Many thanks juuls, that seems to have done the trick, I must have ticked something by accident as its only just started happening.

I've been searching high and low and cant seem to find anything that works on the diamond.
Just want to add a restart option to the quicklist when you long press hang up, maybe even a power off option in it as well.
All the cabs ive tried don't work, they either do nothing or just make the quick list not work.
Anyone know?
No one know it?
What you mean "quicklist"?
When you long press hang up, by default its lock, but you can change that in settings to show quick list of different options: Turn Airplane Mode on (flight) > Lock Device > Terminate Data Connection > Set Vibrate > Settings
Why you don't use small apps (simply exe files) and with shortcuts you make that you want?
I personally use these apps (screen off, restart, shutdown).
Look the screen below.

I'm using screen off shortcut to all panels and restart - shutdown to right panel.
You can also put the shortcuts at Start Menu.
I thing it's easier way.
Every time I bootup my Note 3, a Facebook notification shows up on the Notification bar. When you click on it, it's titled "Set up Facebook account" and within it, it says "Galaxy Note III will receive the following info. ....."
This is really annoying, especially when I've already installed and logged-in to Facebook's App, now Samsung's own Facebook account keeps nagging me to login with permissions to grab my info.

It won't stop starting up every time you bootup, possibly until you log-in.
What gives?
looks like there's a similar thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2252152
Same issue here.
On my s4 I pressed decline once & it never reappeared.
That is part of Samsung's Facebook Sync... I think it can be used for when you tell S-Voice to post a status update onto facebook. You can go into S-Voice, then settings, then towards the bottom, you will see where you can link facebook and twitter.
Go to your contacts
Then press the menu
Choose "accounts"
Remove the facebook account
That anoying notification is gone (at least with me worked)

Until this morning, when I hit Menu in Play Store on my Nexus 4, the drop down menu would include My Apps. (Tapping My Apps would bring a screen listing all my apps, updated or requiring update download, and recently updated.) Starting this morning, tapping Menu brings a drop down menu with only Settings and Help. (Some posts say go into Accounts and make sure your account name/email address is correct, but I don't get Accounts to come up.) Any ideas to bring back My Apps.
Playstore update is now slide to see your apps. Just slide your finger from left side of screen (or touch top left)

the new playstore made some changes. Once you open playstore, click on the three lines on the left side. See the image below.

Thank you both. I just figured this out by pressing everything I could think of on the Play Store home screen. Headed back to post up the solution in case anyone was as lost as me. Thanks for posting the answer so quickly.
Here's a nagging Android riddle I'd like to understand just out of curiosity, as opposed to researching an 'issue' that needs to be resolved. We all have better things to do (laundry, pull weeds, floss) than to make a case out of this post.
I'll ask anyway.
In my graphic the shortcut on the left shows normal behavior from the Settings widget in Oreo. The shortcut on the right, however, just showed up on the home screen out of nowhere. I'm clueless about how it got there and why it has color. Is anybody familiar with this?

I think it's a spyware from mobile-tracker-free.com . Coz I used it before and it comes as the name of WiFi in the settings to avoid attention of the user.

It's not spyware. But mystery solved. The peculiar green shortcut is an Oreo feature.
In my case it showed up by accident. Here's how it's done on purpose:
Long-press the Settings app icon until a pop-up box appears with a short list of widget items that can be dragged to the home screen. In my case there are only 3 options -- battery, data usage and wi-fi.
There are similar effects by long-pressing other apps like Gmail and Messages.

Just upgraded to newest update and there is a new option where you can toggle of and on when screen is of but mine persist and always show when screen is of.i have disabled it but still shows . Anyone else having the same issue?
I switched off "tap to show lock screen" & "lift to show lock screen" as well as the finger print icon option and it seems to have sorted it.

Yeah that woks. But tap to wake is a must for me. I don't get why they both are combined in it.
