I have a theme and it rains on the lockscreen how do i change the background tho but keep the rain effect.

Go to Wallpaper on your settings, top left you can read Home Screen or Lock screen or both, that's where you can set which background goes where.
If you meant how do you keep the rain effect with a different background image, that I wouldn't know and I would figure isn't possible since you probably downloaded a live wallpaper.

Official CM11, cLock, SwitchPro Widget.
I'm using apex launcher and one of the problems is that when the screen is locked and it auto rotates to landscape mode, the entire wallpaper isn't shown and a part of the screen is black
I'm guessing the problem is with the way it crops the wallpaper when setting it
Any way to solve this?

The google wear apps such as fit and the app selection are all in white. I was wondering if anyone modded this to be dark like the settings list? In fact the settings is the only thing to have the dark grey theme.

Maybe if everything was darker it would squeeze out a little extra battery. at the very least it wouldnt hurt my eyes in the middle of the night
When I turn on my phone, there would be this fade in animation (slowly brighten up the display) before i could use the phone. Are there anyway to stop this? I dint remember having this for my last firmware (PB6 and now PB1) . Are there any mod to make this animation more snappy?
