Sorry but I have searched and can't find it. Some time ago someone posted an xml file for pdp to help with battery life. I lost it but it worked well. Help pls.
I have seen it too, I copied the content from it in this thread.

I installed gold_juvel theme found somewhere here, i like it but i lost my custom cities. I tried both "custom weather database editor" with no luck. If i knew what file is to backup before applying the theme I think I solve the problem... Does anybody knoes?
tks
I am having the same problem. But I think mine stopped working when I installed then custom call history tab. It is now saying that "file write protection could't removed. Can anyone help.
As explain here, custom cities are stored in 2 _manila files : 2330fc3c_manila and _2330fc3c_manila (not sure that the 2nd one is really needed). Just copy/paste them in safe place after you edit them.
tks so much, i spent an afternoon looking for this!
What do I have to do with those 2 files?
I uninstalled the themes, but still cant use Weather Database editor?

Hello i was wondering if anyone would be able to help me enable spell checker on the s5. (not autocorrect or predictive text on the keyboard).
I know other people have been able to do it on previous versions of the galaxy and also on the note, By editing Secsettings.apk & framework2.jar, such as in this following link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34856343
Now i am not sure if it would be as simple as this, but i am sure someone on here would be able to enable the spell checker on our s5. If this is all it involves i am able to compile and decompile these two things and edit them myself, but i am pretty sure these files have changed due to the new 4.4.2 touchwiz on the s5.
If it was possible to create a flashable zip file that would edit the certain files or apps needed, that would be helpful and lot easier for a lot of people out there. But i am not sure if that's possible.
I am sure im not the only out there that would like this feature on our new s5, so you would be helping a few of us out.
anyone that would be able to give me some insight or would be able to do this, it would be much appreciated. cheers.
[SOLVED]
With this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2543967&page=4 and this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2251719 I modified framework2.jar (in system/framework folder)
SecSettings.apk is in system/priv-app for S5.
Do not forget to set the correct permissions of files after copy in system memory.
Menu was enabled, but no RED UNDERLINE appear for errors (with google keyboard installed and all options checked).
The Mod is in this way useless!
It fully run only in ART runtime. (Why??)

I'm running KK4.4.2 on my Note 3.
The problem with the Owner Info on the lock screen disappeared after running a debloater script that obliviously has deleted the APK file that responsible to show it. Frankly, I don't know what was that APK file so I could restore it. Please help me.

So for anyone who happen to be curious to know about it, I found out that the APK file is system/app/KeyguardSplannerWidget.apk & system/app/KeyguardSplannerWidget.odex
So by debloating those files I lost the lock screen owner info functionality. By restoring the files and fixing permissions everything is in place.
Hi all
Just wanted to share this tip with those having relatively poor battery life. Having installed BBS I found that I was getting kernel wakelocks due to Wi-Fi and ipv6. After researching, I came across another xda thread and I used the attached script which disabled ipv6.
I also installed AFWall+ and disabled ipv6 connections in preference. Together with the script running on boot, I have better SOT and overall battery life. Make sure the file permissions are: RWX-RX-RX.
Hope this helps others.
I am one of those having poor battery life, please tell me how to use, install or what to do with your script. Thanks.
You need to be rooted amd have /system/etc/init.d folder. It wouldn't work otherwise. Custom roms have that folder, generally. Just extract the zip file and there is a file that you need to copy to the /init.d folder and change permissions to the one suggested above.
Thank you very much.

Is there progress on another type of debloat tool for Note 5? Maybe Aroma flash zip?

There is an option to IMPORT FROM XML, that's how it works. Also, you can save and share disabled apps by EXPORTING the .xml file.

Import from XML from where? An app? Package Disabler Pro? An option within a stock rom settings?

Of course is package disabler pro, this is not a stock rom option. You have to pay for this app
