Mobile data usage problem on 6.0 - X Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys!
I have a problem with high mobile data usage after update to 6.0

Settings > Data Usage > Cellular - look at the usage per application, you'll find your culprit.

I don't mention that my usage of android system is high and its not count to over all usage.

Is there an app that can tell me what apps are using mobile data

Not sure which app is using about 25 meg per day at 5am. Unfortunately/fortunately I am not awake at 5am.
Is there an app to monitor what apps use mobile data?
Thanks in advance.

I suggest you try "Traffic Stats". I believe it will give you the info you seek.
Thanks. It looks like I'll have to buy 3G watchdog pro.

No point in duplicating thread within 24 hrs ????? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52690228#post52690228
Obviously no one can help or knows the reason for your problem ?

Hmmm...

So was keeping network data on at all times in developer options there before or is that with marshmallow? Can't say I remember it being there but may have overlooked.

Well they claim it's too faster switch between data connections. It seems to increase download speeds a bit but that could be a placebo effect.
Are you on latest ota? It has a feature were it will connect and disconnect between networks for better speeds.

Mobile data "connecting"..

Tried using my device on mobile data on T Mobile today and nothing occurs. Signal is fine dBm is fine yet no data is present.
Wife's device on same LTE bands and network works fine.
I'm wondering is this the same hardware issues that a few other forum members had that required motherboard replacement? I've had mine since new for approx 3 months now. Cheers.
