Wifi and Bluetooth not working after flashing cm13. - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was running cm12.1 for quite a while with no issues whatsoever. After flashing cm13 official rom my wifi and bluetooth stopped working. I didn't think much of it, and figured it would be fixed with a newer nightly sooner or later. After running the rom for about 3 months the issue wasn't resolved in the newer nightlies.
I have been trying to work out the problem this week. So far I have upgraded the modem and bootloader, reflashed back to cm13 with a full restore, flashed back to cm12.1 also, and the problem persists with every rom.
Any ideas as to how I can tackle this from here?

Are you sure that the CM version is for you model?

I believe so. I have the GT-i9505 international model, and am running AntaresOne's official CM13 for I9505...... here ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-orig-develop/rom-cyanogenmod-13-t3282242 ).
I took the phone to a service tech today, who confirmed it wasn't a hardware problem at all. He then flashed me back to cm13 official rom (luckily I already had a nand backup), and said I needed to revert to stock and reset my flash counter and start again from scratch...
So I spend all afternoon flashing back to stock lollipop firmware and trying to get TriangleAway to reset my flash counter, which it couldn't.
I also downloaded TowelRoot but found out that it doesn't support my device. Eventually I managed to reflash TWRP and recover my backup, so at least I'm back to where I was yesterday.
After all that, I think I'm quite happy just to live with the fact that bluetooth and wifi are not going to work and save myself anymore headaches, as I'm using the phone as my daily driver.

Phone won't boot?!

Hello there.
I have been using my n9005 for a while now, have it rooted and I have been messing around with a lot of roms. Recently I installed a version of Cyanogenmod to check it out, the sad part was that the phone didn't work so I had to revert back to TW. I thought I would upgrade to KitKat and my version of CM was KitKat 4.4.2, but now when I try to go back to TW it just won't boot. I've tried a couple of recoveries and I've tried several roms, I've even tried going back to JB but I seriously can't get my phone to boot with TW. Is there any way I can fix this?
I fixed it, apparently my Odin was broken. Sorry for the thread.

[Q] lost wifi after flash, please help

Hi, I've had my Note II LTE for about 16 months. I found it very unstable on the stock 4.1 android it came with and eventually figured out how to flash it and went with the Slim Bean mod I found here, which has been pretty good. However with the latest build of Slim Bean 4.4.2 build 5, the volume was far too low in calls, so I decided to try the stock 4.4.2 rom [ROM] Official Stock Samsung KitKat 4.4.2 rooted & deknoxed
However although it flashed fine, my wifi now won't turn on on the phone, everything else seems to work, but the loss of wifi is a catastrophe.
Furthermore it seems to have unrooted the phone so I can't use RomManager anymore to flash any other rom.
At the moment I'm stuck, I can't seem to flash any Rom as RomManager won't work, I cant boot into recovery (no option) and the Rooting method I orginally used no longer seems to work with this 4.4.2 official Samsung stock build.
Can anyone help me? Either to fix the wifi, or to get a working rom flashed?
Thank you

well by fixed it, I mean I managed to flash a different working rom to it, not that I managed to get the wifi working with the rom I mentioned above.

[Q] Why doesn't my WiFi work on new ROM builds?

I have a N900W8, and most ROM builds are for N9005.
I have never had a problem flashing N9005 builds, and all radios working fine, until I tried to flash Audax 11 (running Audax 10.8 now).
After flashing, during the initial setup screens, the WiFi toggle doesn't respond at all. Even if i skip through the rest of the setup, WiFi does not turn on at all.
I tried flashing XNOTE 21, and had the same problem.
Anyone have any ideas?
Baseband is N900W8VLUCNB7, if that matters.
May sound stupid but try flashing a full stock rom package via odin and check if it works with stock roms. That would be the first thing I'd try. Maybe some rom you tried included a modem/baseband that it causing the issue. Flashing back to stock and then switching to another rom again may help.
Flashing stock ROM won't help, and OP is correct. There are some ROMs indeed where WiFi just stops working. I flashed a ROM like that few days ago, I won't name it because of whatever reasons, but it is considered one of the most popular ROM for N9005 and N900T or some model and can be found under T Mobile section, and after flashing the ROM my WiFi just wouldn't turn on. I don't know what was the reason, didn't care to be honest, but then I saw that there are some flash-able zip packages which fixes the issue, again, didn't care to flash those so called fixes.
So OP might wanna look for one of those package for the ROM he is using.

A300FU Signal

Hello! I have problem with my phone. I was on Cyanogenmod, but then i wanted to flash that resurection rom or whatever its called. Booted it up, but there was very weak or no network. Then I decided to reflash stock rom. On the first time there was no signal too, but reflashed again and everything was ok. I remembered that Touchwiz is unusable and flashed again CM. On the first moment, signal was ok, but after while it started to lag. Yesterday flashed back the stock rom, and for that moment everything was ok. Waked up this morning, and what do i see?? Yes, there it`s again. Weeak or no signal. Emergency calls only.
I checked that my IMEI is not changed. Have reflashed modem with odin, sometimes thinked that it was working, but reception keeps bad. Is anyone having same issue? Maybe you can tell me how to fix this and help me?
Actual signal in my house and everywhere is good, but all problems started when I wiped all data and flashed resurection rom or whatever.
Did you check proper support for the rom? Some roms in development(like one of the versions of the CM for the a300fu don't have properly working wifi

Uncommon behavior when flashing custom ROM - Please help :)

First of all hello to everyone!
I have quite weird problem:
I have my phone rooted and customized since day one - Installed KitKat, tried some launchers, unlocked UPSM and so on.
It ran flawlessly for nearly 4 years.
Recently, for no particular reason I decided to wipe&refresh it and maybe install some totally custom ROM.
NOW: I can install ROMS like Lineage 14.1, 15.1 or Resurrection Remix 6.0 and they run fine except (yes, You probably guessed it) they mess up baseband and IMEI.
I can still revert to original 4.4.2 stock ROM and both baseband and IMEI work fine so i'm not in any "brick panic"
The point is I still want to move to some custom ROM but can't sort out baseband-modem and IMEI problem.
I tried to flash several different modems to no avail - sometimes (totally randomly) IMEI showed up on first boot after flashing but was gone after reboot.
- On my current 4.4.2 stock, IMEI shows up correctly NO MATTER which modem version I flash (is it weird or normal or what?)
- none of modem versions work on Lineage OS nor RR
- SIM card works flawlessly on all other devices and on my current 4.4.2 ROM so it's not damaged.
Is it matter of proper custom ROM+MODEM combination or something else?
Can anyone help to sort it out?
What more information do You need?
Thanks in advance!
Flash the latest lollipop stock firmware to update your bootloader.
Yeah, meanwhile I did flash lollipop an hour ago and it works fine with IMEI and all.
Latest version I could find for my phone was Lollipop 5.0
How can I tell if bootloader is updated?
Can I Flash sole bootloader independently via Odin?

Yes you can. Go to this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/general/bootloader-baseband-bl-cp-samsung-t3582504
Thank You all for help and pointing to right direction!
Taking care of proper bootloader version was the key step that sorted things out.
Now I'm enjoying superlite bloatware free 8.1 oreo with LineageOS 15.1 on great 4 yrs old device.
And it works super smooth. Way better then original 4.4.2.
Now I'm being tempted to push the limits and try 9.0 Pie with LOS 16...
Whenever flashing a stock ROM with Odin, the stock ROM includes a bootloader and modem file.
