Hi guys,
First Q: I want to know which is the best arabic Firmware for My galaxy note in UAE?
Second Q: I have downloaded "N7000JPLA1_N7000OJPLA1_XSG" Firmware which is the latest one in UAE, Is there any problem if I'll install it in my galaxy note??
Information about my Phone:
Model Number: GT-N7000
Android version: 2.3.6
Baseband version: N7000XXLA4 (I think it is European)
Kernal version: 2.6.35.7-N7000XXLA6-CL907341 [email protected]#2
Build Number: GINGERBREAD.XXLA6
I bought it online from SOUQ.com.
Thanx
according to some web pages the UAE versions are N7000JPKJ4 (2.3.5) & N7000JPKK2 (2.3.6) these two are officialy arabic firmwares for the UAE.
your version works too and its new 2.3.6 you can easly flash it just watch for the flash counter from incrementing other than that its completly harmless and nothing too complicated to follow. i recommend getting a script rooting and then flash with the CMW (ClockWorkMOD) so you'll have no counter issues and avoid warrenty though you can fix that and reset the counter prefer not going there and trying this mess cause then you'll need a JIG.
that's about it, Good luck
No problem

Hello,
Why don't install one of AOSP-based rom (e.g. imilka's CyanogenMod 9) which i'm using with no problem in reading and writing in Arabic !
JPLA1 is working great .. i'm using it and it's official
I just purchased Galaxy Note GT-N7000 from Dubai, but Arabic is not readable and even no Arabic keyboard for inputting. So how can i solve the problem bcz i m new and don;t know what i have to do.
Secondly how can i install any new language like URDU or others which are not listed in language list of Note.
Thanks
Hey guys,
I just upgraded to a Note 3 with Optus in Australia, and it seems to be a N9007 instead of N9005. Does anyone know if it's possible to flash N9005 roms onto it?
Thanks
I have the same problem... I just want to root my N9007, but I dont think there is a solution...

I've tried for a few days to get a few AOSP 4.4 ROMs working on the new N9007, everything works, except the modem. It's just not seen by the ROM, so my guess is that we'll have to wait for somebody to make a compatible ROM (or do it ourselves!)

Couldn't you then just flash the modem that is supplied with the N9007 - I would assume it is a different modem to the N9005?

I don't know enough about modem firmware across Android versions. I thought (but I could be wrong) that a 4.3 modem file wouldn't work on 4.4? In which case, we're waiting for a 4.4 release anywhere for the N9007, then the modem files could be extracted and put into any 4.4 ROM.
I could be barking up the wrong tree. Does anybody know if a 4.3 modem firmware/driver will work on 4.4?

Modem 4.3 won't work on 4.4. N9007 is still a very new model and I guess you still need to wait a little while more.
One other thing you might like to try is to reset your APN or to configure it according to your carrier. I've just this week replaced my Galaxy S3 with the Note3 - with my S3 I would change custom rom every couple of weeks and if the modem didn't work I would simply reset the APN which would fix the issue.

I've been trying really hard to understand if there's actually any difference btw the N9005 and N9007 (both Snapdragon). Can some1 please correct me if I am wrong because all I can see is that the firmware and versions (N9005 or N9007) is based on the android version and the country it is issue for. As an example...the below 3 firmwares are all available for Hong Kong....
Model = SM-N9005
Country/Carrier = Hong Kong
Date = 2014 June
Version = 4.4.2
PDA = N9005ZHUENE6
CSC = N9005ZZHENE6
Model = SM-N9007
Country/Carrier = Hong Kong
Date = 2014 May
Version = 4.3
PDA = N9007ZHUAND1
CSC = N9007ZZHAND1
Model = SM-N9007
Country/Carrier = Hong Kong
Date = 2014 February
Version = 4.3
PDA = N9007ZHUANB1
CSC = N9007ZZHANB1
I note that the Omega v17 Android 4.4.2 ROM is based on N9005ZHUENE6, so even if my Note3 firmware was one of the N9007 from Hong Kong or Australia why WOULD I NOT be able to simple flash the N9005 - this should work. I've only had my Note3 this week so still trying to get up to speed with the rooting process etc before I flash a custom rom. Also, I am still trying to determine with of the Note3 custom rom would people most recommend.
Below is some more info I've found (article)
http://www.galaxynote3update.com/sa...ote-3-n9005-4-4-2-kitkat-update-n9005zhuenb5/
Hong Kong’s Galaxy Note 3 N9005 4.4.2 KitKat Update N9005ZHUENB5 Release
Hong Kong’s Galaxy Note 3 variants are similar to any other Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 but it runs with a different software build version other than those released in Europe and Asia Pacific regions like the latest 4.4.2 software update N9005XXUENB4. There are three Galaxy Note 3 versions released in Hong Kong, Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900 (Exynos) and the other two are built with Snapdragon processors – the Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 LTE and the Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9007 TD-LTE. The Note 3 TD-LTE (SM-N9007) variants can connect to TD-LTE with 2300/2600MHz band of frequencies, and has also seen exclusively released in Australia under Optus mobile carrier, but there is no KitKat update for that version for now.

Nothing sure if you've come across the following yet...

custom rom (kitkat)

4.4.2 is out from Optus in Australia for the n9007. The Optus page has it coming out "in the next few days", but Sams Mobile has it already. I'm downloading it currently.

Got it after a couple of attempts.
I initially attempted with "CF-Auto-Root-htdlte-htdltedi-smn9007.tar.md5", but stuck in bootloop.
I then tried "CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.tar.md5" (which I successfully tried on Android version 4.3), and successfully got root access on 4.4.2.
Has been working fine since.

In case you haven't heard, the official 5.0 Lollipop ROM is now out from Optus (or Sam's Mobile) for the poor old n9007...
I've got it to Root stage with TWRP, but haven't had a proper go at getting Xposed working on it yet - that will be over the weekend.
Other than that, very happy with the ROM so far.
Next step will be to extricate the modem files, and see if they can be used in any of the excellent other n900x ROMS...
Just got Xposed working perfectly (so far only using Wanam and Menubegone modules, but they're working flawlessly) with Arte97's recent beta v79 Xposed, from here:

First time didn't work, "not enough storage space" as warned - then removed some apps, tried again and successful.
Hello
I have just found a interested ROM called Phronesis Rom v3.0. I want to flash it to my Note 3 but I have a few things need to ask:
1. I'm having a Note 3 LTE SM-N9005 (TGY) 16GB Version. Is this ROM compatible with the 16GB version?
2. I don't know the relationship between the Baseband and Kernel. Do I need to find a baseband / kernel that is fit for my country?
Thanks for help.
Basics
Baseband = modem = relevant to your network /many work on any network .
Kernel is the hardware/ OS interface not relevant to any country .
You have >10 posts already. Just head over to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3241910.
I believe it shouldn't be a problem but you might want to ask it there.

Bro its freeze beacause you use N910C recovery use recovery
Sboot.bin
Modem
These three files from your n910S official rom and download the samw android version file of international model with same specs like n910C exynos
And open that file use other file from international and the put all these files together and flash it thorugh odin then see the magic you have n910c never stuck on boot or logo or hang and also use this method for any samsung phone to convert or remove stock apps like verizon att and other.
Thanks
Hello.
I'm tired of waiting for Samsung to finally roll out the marshmallow update to my device. So I did some searching and turns out Spain already has the 6.0 update. As theyre using the same model number as my device I started wondering if it may be possible to obtain the Spanish stock rom and just flash it via odin onto my device. (I've got a German note 4 model number sm-n910f)
PS: I hope I'm using the right forum.
Stock marshmallow for n910f hasn't come out yet. Must yet
Did you flash the rom ?i am here wondering the same idea .i am thinking to flash inu version of n910g atock rom in my n910g singapore variant can we flash the rom if both have different baseband version ?

Yes you can. What matters is model.
