You can now use this port to play Half Life on your Xperia SP instead of buying a Nivedia Shield to be able to play it.
You just need to download this apk from here: https://github.com/SDLash3D/xash3d-.../download/v0.17-beta.2/xash3d-0.17-beta.2.apk
And this folder from here: http://mobdisc.com/dwb2ff0eba/download.html
The folder is compressed so please extract the folder and put it in the root of your internal storage then launch the apk named Xash3D then press on Launch Xash3D! and thats it!
Please notice that this port isn't my work and i don't own it at all, i just wanted to share to this community.

the rom seems to be very fast. No problems with the camera, I'm gonna try the touchpads and see how it goes

for now everything is working really well. I'm restoring my apps right now so that's gonna take a little while but I'll let you know more later. First impressions are very, very good. All camera options work fine, the rom is really snappy, great stuff!!!
edit : one little gripe, after manually inserting the proper build.prop from your zip, my phone recognises itself as r800i but my computer still thinks it's a neo L when I plug it in. nothing major but i had to let you know
your zip has an error .. status 6...

I downloaded this firmware .... had to convert it to ftf ... and flashed it .... feels smooth, thought there are some force closes in the start... but works great ... There is no particular difference between other firmwares and this on... Just a little smoother...
I haven't checked the touchpads yet... Will check it later..

Hello,
I have a Japanese version of the Sony XTZ (SO-03E) with 32gb, wifi, 4G LTE, 1Seg tv tuner (?).
I have been searching for a suitable firmware to flash over the stock. The Cyanogenmod firmwares fail to install through CWM due to the difference in hardware numbers (all of the CM 10 pollux builds are coded for the european units it would seem). Clockworkmod just states that I don't have the SGP### model.
Any guidance for the ROM you have listed or a point in the right direction?

I have been looking all over for a working root and recovery that will run CM10 for this thing and I cant believe there is NOTHING out there.
I did find a 1 click root solution that worked, but the only recovery I could find that would even boot up was some strange duel recovery that did'nt even work with CM10... Ugggg...

Hey, I'm a new Xperia tablet Z user...
So I'm going to build my ROM for Xperia tablet Z (LTE), But the problem is that I don't know much about the Xperia devices... As what I can see is that xperia tablet Z is using same CPU, GPU and Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8064 as nexus 4...
But confusing part is the recovery. Isn't it possible to use recovery as recovery.img instead of including it into the zImage...? I don't want to break anything so I am not going to mess with this device.

I have a "Sony sa0101/Sony sa0103/Sony sa0105 and Sony sa0106/7/8/9) 7 different drivers...
With my Xperia Z i found a Guide wich Driver to use, with my Tablet z there is no guide wich driver to use...
I hope someone can Help... thx in advance

If you have Problems with the ADB Driverinstall on Windows 8 use option to manually select drivers from the list on your Computer and look for ony sa0107

Hey guys, i need help porting apps from one android device to another like apps from LG Optimus 2x to LG optimus one or porting stock apps to cyanogenmod or porting xperia, samsung apps to non xperia(or non samsung) devices. I dont intend to make it for commercial use like posting on playstore. I just want it include on roms and make it such a way that other devs can include it on their roms. I have basic C++ knowledge and Im learning java on my own!
Normally you can just compile the app and add it to your work with the right copyright notice as long as your device/ROM is the minimum API level which is required.
How can i compile a app from source, which is already compiled like stock keyboard for xperia making it work on non xepria or LG optimus 2X Launcher for LG optimus one!

So have you got the sources? If you do, select File -> Import -> Existing Android code into workspace in Eclipse.
If you have already got a compiled app why don't you use that one?
If you mean resizing the images, rename the compiled apk to a .zip file. Then you can browse the content. Afterwards rename it to .apk.

I have got no sources. It's a stock application. I have to make it work on other device by resizing the images and make them work on other devices (may be low end device of same company or different company!)

I know I should modify the apk but what files like xperia has some file which checks the device for xperia device. What are the dimensions for mdpi device. What are the files should I modify in a keyboard to make it work on other device!

Are you short on internal storage? Or want to backup apps? There are many ways to enable root access for the Sony Xperia devices. This method works for a broad range of Sony phones including the SP, Z, Z1, T, L and much more! This will not touch your bootloader but only allow super user access for apps and system related tools. All you have to do is on your phone visit this website TowelRoot.
Then just click on the lambda and it will come up with a download. Save it somewhere on your phone and make sure you have “Unknown Sources” checked before you install. Enabling unknown sources allows you to install apps that are not from the Google Play Store.
Install the app and then open it, there should be a single button that says “make it ra1n”. Wait for couple of seconds and if it says “Root Completed” then you are done!
If you are still not sure if you have super user access or not, visit the play store and download “Root Checker” This will check if you have root access or not.
I have done this on my Sony Xperia SP running Jelly Bean 4.3 and worked very well!
