Pics of it installed please..? I purchased a zag hd after a fail with Verizon branded ones. I accidentally got a wet install which is nice but I can't use cases that go over the screen with it. Looking to get a dry install soon.
Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk

so what's the diff between wet and dry install styles? aren't they the same thing just differently installed?

Ive got this screen protector on my phone and im very happy with it... really good coverage edge to edge and it plays well eith the cases i have. When i installed it, initiallg had a lot of bubbles that i couldn't push out.. but these disappeared on their own.. and now it looks perfect.

Not sure entirely but I thought the dry was a film and the wet is like a stretchy material.

Its good

Hi everyone I won't to purchase this Zagg hd dry, is it a good choice? Some of the s7 edge owners are using it a long time, would you share your experience with me. I'm specially interested, how it manage drops.

It won't do a lot against drops, maybe a tiny bit. It's designed to stop scratches. Only tempered glass protectors can "help" against drops on screen. And they are **** in our phones.

Exactly, I try two different manufactures of tempered glass, it was unusable. I thought, because of the soft material, the Zagg, could absorb some of the impact. I just thought some of the members who are using this protection had some experiences with drops.

ive never seen plastic shatter like that. lol. not as dramatic.
Hopefully you had insurance.

Yeah it sucks. I have insurance, but i'm guessing because the phone is so new, I made a claim but I have to fax them information and do all this extra stuff. I never had to do this when I made a claim with the TP2.
Ouch, I'm known to do that sometimes leave me phone on my lap and get up out the car. Luckily I normally have some full body protection and a screen guard on my phone.
Looks like it still works though.
yeah I have a screen protector coming, will get here today (a bit too late lol). I am looking for a case, im picky when it comes to those. Not much out right now other than a limited ebay picking and the one from verizon. Which I just now found out they make in a clear color, looks like I will have one for my replacement...
I have the body glove and zagg screen, and as sad as this is to say I have actually drooped mine twice and you can't even tell. It still looks fresh outta the box. Good luck with the replacement to from what I've heard VZW is still sold out.

sorry to say, but i dont think ur the first casualty.
also insurance ftw.
I bought the silicone cover from Verizon, I have not dropped my phone yet hopefully it protects the phone if I drop it.
Hopefully Otterbox will make one for this phone like the one for the iphone.
dropped my x10 and nothing happened. wouldn't wanna try it with my incredible now

Dust between screen and sides

Any ideas on how to protect the space between the screen and front edge of this awesome phone?
The gel case from sprint doesn't cover this gap, and there doesn't seem to be many cases out yet to fit the NS4g.
Is this even something to be concerned with?

ive never had an issues with sides usually can just blow and what ever if anything gets in between usually comes out.
And the screen is fused to the touch glass with adhesive no dust is getting between screen so no worries

The dust gets in the exact same place you referenced with me too, and I always get panicky, but I find that if I try to remove it myself, it just ends up worse somehow. They just seem to dissapear after some time in my pocket though. I'll check a few hours later, and bam, the dust isn't there anymore.

This product looks great to get the dust particles from my pocket out of my devices. Im gonna hit up a couple stores and pick this up, if its not off the wall expensive.

OPO is one durable phone!

So I'm not really sure where this belongs but I'll just post here...
Today, I had a really ****ty day and got into a super big blow out with my girl (ex girl now) and long story short she would not leave my apt and kept yelling in my face. Obviously after minutes of this I lost it and hurled my phone against a wall in a fit of rage... Probably close to as hard as I could (90%). Anyway, the phone put a big hole into the drywall and she ended up leaving. I went and picked up and dusted it off... Magically, not a single scratch or anything is wrong with the phone!
My OPO is a sandstone black 64gb wrapped in a tudia 2 piece case and a tempered glass screen prot... Granted there is a screen prot and case on it but I'm thoroughly impressed that this thing is not only 100% functional but still in pristine condition!

Sorry about your... wall
I'm sold about your case / glass combo. Can you share more details on which ones you are using please?
Thanks!
I had a tempered glass screen too. Phone fell from my hand on the concrete floor while I was talking on the phone. Both tempered glass and the case broke but not a single scratch on the phone. I did have to change the screen protector and the case but yeah phone was as good as new.

Thanks... I needed to work on my drywall patching and paint matching skills anyway!
The case is a tudia slimfit cygen and the screen prot is the orzly tempered glass screen prot.

Should have hurled at GF
kidding of course. I know the feeling though.
Damn, I did the exact same thing with my nexus 4 during an argument but instead i smashed it on the floor and stomped on it. :crying:

Sorry to jump in conversation but do you feel border of the orzly tempered glass ? I'm thinking seriously about buying one. I don't usually use this kind of protection but with this screen size I fear to scratch it with jeans button or zipper. :-/
Just don't rub it on your crotch too much and you should be ok
Seriously though, the Nillkin 9H tempered glass protector is excellent quality, very thin, and cheaper too I think.
If there was no case on the phone you would be able to feel the edges of the screen protector... However since there is a case and it wraps around the front edges of the phone (providing protection if the phone is screen down) then its not an issue... Hope that helps

Sorry to hear about you & your ex-gf. I have the same set-up too. That's a serious hole in the wall you should get it patched up.
Note-to-self: Can use phone as throwing weapon when in a bind.
Nice move, I'm only sorry it didn't brake...

I was checking my phone today and saw something white like on the left side of the speaker grill.
Can u guys check ur phone and see if this actually happened around ur speaker grill?
Not yet.... What happened is it scrapped off to the metel?
Are you sure it is not just a light reflection?
Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
Nothing on mine, could be dirt ?
Nothing alike here, maybe the grill just isn't perfectly fitted and you got a small piece of dirt/paper/whatever there.
Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
I hope its not a crack or anything.
Nothing happened actually but i was fiddling around my phone today when i saw this.
Going to the 60 minute service center later.

Nope not a reflection
If this does happen i would say the qc is rather bad
Mine doesn't. But it's the glass not cut nicely. I see it kinda like that on various parts around where the glass meets the frame.

Did you soaked it on water?

I believe I have the same thing around my speaker grill. I think it is dirt because if I remember correctly, it didn't have it before. Was going to take compressed air to it, but forget about it every time
It's just dust. You will notice that this will also happen with your home bottom. No worries
It's dust from the pocket lint. A microfiber cloth will get rid of it I get the same issue if I use a flip case with a earpiece cutout
I have an issue with the glass around the speaker grill. It appears to be with a slightly darker black colour. Looks more like a smudge but cannot be cleaned. Do you know what that might be from or should I be concerned about it?
Yes. I see multiple black holes. Not sure if this is normal

possibly screen misaligned... vid shows different symptom, but problem perhaps the same?
Nothing here all good

Glass Protection no good.

So Neither the Verizon Glass cover or the zagg cover works. Had 3 different places try to install it on my phone. Touch Screen very spotty after install. What is everyone else doing now until they fix this problem in the covers?

I've gone glassless. Tried a couple from amazon and they both would fall off. Ther are no good reviews of them either.
Is the stock glass good enough to not have something on it?
Skinomi for me perfect protection and full coverage, yes I know it's not glass but offers decent scratch protection
I'm using this screen protector and case and it's a nice low profile design and I have no issues with touchscreen or the screen protector coming off. Very fluid design.

I went with this and it came out flawless. Can't even tell by sight it's on there. Says case friendly but I'm dubious. First time I put it in my TPU it lifted a tiny bit. Second time it was perfect. I think I might not have waited long enough for it to dry completely. Right now awaiting microSD before I put my SIM and SD card in it and start using the phone.
https://smile.amazon.com/Galaxy-Pro...4&sr=8-3&keywords=s8+screen+protector+yootech
I went to AT&T and asked them about glass screen protectors and he flat out said that if you plan on putting a case on the device, don't bother getting one. They've had no luck with installing them as the cases just lift them up, despite them being listed as "case friendly".
The only one that they had was the Zagg one. He said that I'm better off either going without a protector at all or trying to find one of those plastic ones. I'm not surprised by his statement as I've seen numerous people here complain about how difficult it's been to find one that'll work with cases.
Oh, so in the meantime, I'm going naked with the screen and using a Spigen Neo Hybrid case.
Bought one on Amazon before I got the phone. It had no reviews. I got the phone but haven't tried the glass screen protector yet. Went back to Amazon and all bad reviews now. I'll see if I can return it, I'll probably go without a protector, I think it will take a lot to scratch the glass.
