Volume Up + Power crash - X Play Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I was wondering if someone can help me sort a mysterious crash on my X Play M 6.0.1 Dual Sim device. Whenever I press Volume Up and Power on simultaneously the device vibrates and about 60 secs later a crash report is generated. I still think it's Xposed related although it persisted when I uninstalled Xposed. When Xposed is installed and I have e.g. GravityBox running and have the extended power menu enabled, this crash removes the power menu plus e.g. my GravityBox task bar tweaks.
I was wondering if some other X Play users could test this with their devices.
Is there any standard action that is assigned to Volume Up + Power?
Here's my original post in the XPosed sub-forums:

Cheers!

Wow. I feel really stupid now. After some more googling it became apparent that USB debugging apparently activates bug reports via Power Up + Volume. It also has options to put the bug report into the power menu.
Apparently the bug report that is created crashes something in GravityBox which is why the power menu disappears. I assume the power menu thing gets reinitialised.
Sorry for confusion.
Problem resolved.

Power Button strange behaviour

I got a strange problem here.
Since I got my HTC Desire, I dont really use my G1 anymore. So I decided to sell it. While setting it up I noticed a really strange bug:
When I try to hold the Power button to get into the Power Menu, the phone changes in to standby-mode or changes to lookscreen (like i would only press the Power button without holding it).
Sometimes I can reach the Power Menu, but phone is changing to standby or lockscreen immediately.
I tried 2 different radios and 3 different roms
Does anyone have an idea?

[Q] volume control "up" button stuck constantly

Hi,
i have a htc touch hd with energy rom installed, i have read about the volume problem with this rom but i would like to make sure this is software related before i got any further, anyway heres my problem - as soon as i switch the phone on, everything loads then the volume up button presses itself constantly, causing the phone to constantly beep, if i then restart the phone, it vibrates 3 times and fails to come on, i have to remove the battery for a minute or so to get the phone back on then the same happens again.
so i installed the latest version of energy rom and it still happens except the volume control screen has been removed so now whenever im in a menu or drop box, it constantly changes the selected item to the option above (as if im physically pressing the volume up button).
is this software related or is the volume button physically broken.
the reason i ask before trying the patch is because the phone will need reflashin to be able to install the patch (because it will not work with the vol button stuck) and if i reflash with a stuck volume button it might crash and brick the phone. if its a hardware fault i am capable of fixing it myself.

Is it possible to rebind the volume rocker to power on a 'system' level?

Long story short the power button on my 6p is completely borked and beyond repair (i've tried, including straight up replacing the button), Can't RMA it since i opened it and it will likely be called user damage etc. etc. So, my question is;
Is it possible to rebind the volume rocker to power on a 'system' level? i.e. using root/recovery instead of one of the apps on the playstore (Which work but murder battery and usually ask for weird permissions)
Thanks,
I think a good option would be to install a Custom ROM like Chroma, which has these two features:
* Enable the volume rocker buttons to turn on the screen.
* Enable double tap on the status bar or navigation bar to lock the phone and turn screen off.
What would be missing would be the way to turn in on if the phone is actually powered off.

Any way to disable the battery low warning on stock 6.0 (root, Xposed, Magisk)?

I disabled my lockscreen and instead changed the button mapping to only turn on the screen when I double press and hold either power or home with Xposed Additions, which works perfect (Home button sometimes doesn't wake, power does). Problem though is this damn annoying battery warning keep on waking my phone.
Anybody know a method to disable it that still works on Android 6.0 Touchwiz?

Little problem

ok, so as you should've known already Mia1 power button often double clicks even when we only click one time. Will this cause any unwanted things to happen while trying to root and when trying to flash custom rom?? Some procedures requires power button and I'm afraid if the messed up power button causes any unwanted things to happen.
I had the same issue with power button every time i pressed it to wake device Camera app opens
