Does this device has a hi res day like the LG g4 etc, like 24 bit 192khz hardware audio output?
Poweramp has support for it but maybe it's disabled in this device stock rom.
Guess it's not just changing stuff in audio policy that makes it work. Either it needs stuff in audio.h or the hardware simply does not support high resolution audio.

What app is this?
nope.
Aeris will help.
No Hi-res. But can still support 24/192 FLAC. The output is great.

Without Audio ( Audio Disable) :
I think thats not unusual. Decoding the audio need also some performance!?
I've ditched Core palyer in favour of Divx Player get it from here

Plays my converted films no problem
I sometimes use my One to record our band rehearsing, and overall the 'HDR' microphones cope surprisingly well with the high sound levels (we're a metal band with a loud drum kit).
However, I've started to notice that the right channel of the stereo recording seems to be consistently louder and, hence, closer to clipping than the left one. You can kind of see it in the screenshot below. I'm fairly certain it's not due to the acoustic conditions in our rehearsal space.

Main suggestion would be to ensure a proper DAC-section for the pre-outs, otherwise the sound will never be on a decent level anyway.
Since there's a DSP onboard, there must be a digital sound source after it, right? One thing I would wish was a good SPDIF digital sound output, either optical or coaxial. In this way, you give the possibility to include this head unit in a more serious sound setup, and to be able to buy a higher quality DAC.
Make it right hand drive compatible!!!
Alright so I bought an XTRONS TSD700L. Not sure if anyone else has done anything with this unit yet, but I've attached the MCU and CPU-Z specs as well. The audio quality on it is just not great, even using factory amp with it, it lacks serious bass.
I've seen threads on audio mods for MTCD unit and wondered if there's anything the like for these, or if possibly there's any way to use a different eq than the stock one on the head unit to allow for higher bass or anything.
Any helpful pointers/advice is much appreciated

I am needing a little help with a cheap android radio. Seems like when using Spotify or other apps the radio doesn't use the built in equalizer settings. Also fade and balance isn't working. Messing around with it, I found it does change the bass/treble/fade/balance in waze app though.. Does anyone know how to fix this issue so it will sound a little better. I totally understand it's not a high quality sound system, just would like it to sound close to normal.. I will take some pictures of the android version screens also. Thanks for any help!
