I have att s5, just downloaded the app Readittome,
It does everything except read contact
Information. It gives me notice I have a call and optionto answer. But I don't want to have to pick up
Phone to see who's calling.
Can anyone tell how to solve this?
Thanks
What options do you checked in the contact list? (I'm the dev btw )
Readittome
I have the telephone option clicked.
If my volume is up can hear phone telling me who's calling. But only on headphones hear and little jingle and it ask if I want to answer or ignore.

Is it only me but I wish to keep the last call private but the XDA insists on showing it in big bold type on the phone panel with some ambarrasing consequences. How do I disable that feature.
I cant think of any scenario that would be a problem but if it because of secrets then get another phone and use that one for the calls you dont want anybody to see, personally my phone stays in my pocket when it isnt being used, if I did have something in there I didnt want anybody to see I wouldnt hand my phone to anybody else to give them the opportunity.
Thank U CT but u will appreciate the Q is a techinical one not a moral one.
I am not moralising, I was offering a solution to your problem.
With respect, CT, u offered a behavoural solution not a technical one. I expect there are others on 'xda-developers' that may proffer a technical solution. Thank you, nontheless.
If you go to settings/phone and enable "require pin", the only thing you see on the phone page is "enter pin".

Hey guys,
Why do rejected calls show up as missed call?
Is there a way to stop this? every time i tap ignore or reject a call the phone says i have a missed call when in fact i did not miss it... :?
Thx
Jamps
Yeah, that's an unfortunate "feature." Been that way all along, and I've never found a way to correct it. I also don't view a rejected call as missed, though I suppose there are others who would not view it as received either.
ah damn...this really sux!!
Anyway, thx for ur help carlos...

T-mobile users, I have a question; if you go into the phone settings of your phone(options) and get to services. The option for call forwarding it has 2 checkboxes 1,for busy and another one for unavailable. Which one of the two is related to "ignoring the incoming call". I'm testing out this free service that lets me direct some calls to there mail-box and lets me listen to the message in real-time. I don't want to give up my primary voice box but would like to know how to direct certain callers to the other mail-box; right now I have it set up to go to the other box by typing in the number as busy but its hit and miss or should I put the other box number in both busy and unavailable?
Any and all ideas welcomed.
Nobody knows the answer for this?
Here's my scenario,
I'm receiving calls from 3 people that are annoying, I'm not looking for to block these people, but looking an app that can REDIRECT these SELECTED CALLERS to the number of my CHOOSING.
please help me find an app that forwards calls (THAT DOES NOT TAMPER WITH VOICEMAIL)
Thanx in adv.
I hear that phoneAlarm does this from pocketMax.
http://www.pocketmax.net
just tried it, and did find anything regarding call forwarding.
anyone else????
This won't help with your scenario, but might be useful for future reference.
Google Voice offers this functionality by default. You can send those callers to another number, or straight to voice-mail, or block them entirely if you choose.
Unfortunately, I don't know of any WinMo apps that will do that.
Not sure if MagiCall will help you. You can set up custom rules for each number.
Worked great when I was getting annoying calls.
I normally was using Magi call, but have it under hang up and drop. Problem is that it hangs up a second later (they can still hear my background and notice that it the call is being hanged up for the 1 second).
I have tried about 2-3 apps that they are suppose to block the call, instead it send s them to voice mail (I don't want them to have access to my voice mail) or does hang up immediately. Only if there is a TRUE CALL BLOCKER is would consider it.
I now focusing in finding a app that forwards these selected callers to any number of my choosing.
There has to be an app like this, someone hopefully comes through with that answer.

I'm looking for the same thing and PhoneAlarm Pro does support this feature from what I've read. I downloaded the Pro version and installed it. But after restart, it will get stuck on the main screen and nothing else will show. I waited for a while to see if it will load but nothing ever happened and I kept restarting over and over. I finally ended up doing a hard reset. I'm running on the Leo Cell Evo v5 rom tmobile and I don't know if it has something to do with it, but I don't feel like flashing to another rom to see if it works for me so I'll just leave it alone and let someone else figure it out.
For the life of me, I can't find where to edit the responses without actually editing it when I'm receiving a call. Does anyone know where to find the list of responses for this so I can add a few? TIA
settings --> call settings -->All Calls -->> Reject Call With Message
You can add a message and edit/delete message by hitting the menu button.

You guys rock. Thanks a lot!
Don't use it if you use Google Voice...
It responds from your actual cell number :-(

Google Voice has the option to mark numbers as spam, so when I have to use my phone to call people I don't necessarily want to be able to call me back I use it and if there is a problem google Voice eliminates it. I don't give out my t-mobile number because then people will bother me.
Fortunately the person who i rejected with a text was not bright and asked who was texting. I apologized and said "Sarah", they said they didn't know a Sarah and I said oh, sorry wrong number... Then I called them back from GV later that night.
