sm-n910h not have the carrier folder - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I use the app root explorer, root permissions on and show hidden folders, but can not find the carrier folder.
This is because it is a terminal factory released?
I need to activate the hidden menu that is in the folder carrier
Is there anyone who knows about this?

Wheres the root folder

So I have come across several post that say I need to access my root folder under Android. Problem is under SD/ANDROID/ all I have is AndroidApps, Cache, data, Media..thats it. NO ROOT.
Im Running Mat6b on a US HD2 Tmo
The root folder is the folder isn't named root. As the name suggests it is the root for all other folders. The folder structure is comparable to a tree. The root folder contains some folders(branches) which have their own branches. So in a file explorer you just have to tap 'up' as often as possible and then you are in the root folder.

I appricate your reply. This is what im trying to do
--please go to build.prop file you will find it android/root/system
so I take it as a folder named root in the Android folder with a folder names system in it...am I wrong?
Google for Root Explorer apk and download and install it. Now you can see the root of your device

folders made in root explorer appear as a blank file

im having trouble with root explorer app in my nexus 4. everytime i make folders in root explorer, i can't access it in desktop because the folders will appear as a blank file, but if i make the folder in the desktop, it will appear correctly as a folder in root explorer, so the work around is always make folder in desktop which is annoying if i dont have access to my computer. do you any have idea why this happens?
here's the pic to descibe it more accurately.

Missing folders in android/data...is something wrong with my phone?

I'm trying to access my Final Fantasy IV data folder to backup my save folder, but I can't seem to find the folder even though I already researched the specific directory. How do I access the "hidden" directory? I am using root access explorers set to show hidden files but that doesn't help.
Here is a link that shows the specific directory to backup the save file (read the second comment).

How To Replace the ContextService.apk? For My Specific Model?

So I rooted by Galaxy S5 SM-G900V running 4.4.4. (please be specific, Im new to this). My device is ALREADY rooted and 100% confirmed, as I used root checker.
And now everytime I open gallery or do certain things, It tells me "Unfortunately, Context Service has stopped working."
I read on a thread you can Rename or replace the ContextService.apk file located under /system/priv-app to fix it, So where do I get a non corrupt copy? And how do I access the /system/priv-app area? Connect to a pc?
Also, wouldnt replacing with a non corrupt version be more important that renaming it and no longer working? Do we not need it?
update
So I downloaded Root Explorer app to find that "/system/priv-app area" and nothing. I can not find any "system" file or Priv-app area.
Thanks
You need to root your device. For file explorer try ES File Explorer for root browsing.
already rooted

[Noob]Fix 'My Files' app (unable to move files ANYWHERE)

Hi
Short version: think ive buggered stock 'My File' (v1.7.0) app on UK G900F (3 network if that matters) can not move, copy or paste files from or to SD or device. Unrooted, have replacent apk file and adb windows zip, need advice/hand-holding. Think a malicious app may have knackered file or read/write path or something. Even ES file explorer or file explorer HD cant move anything. Will keep searching here on xda but any and all help appreciated.
Cheers
You can try unlocking the SDCard with an app like this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jrummy.sdfix&hl=en_GB
Needs root though
