LTE on AOSP not working

Okey i got I9505 with the new bootloader and i cant seem to get LTE working , as it's doesn't even connect and drops all connection ever couple of minuts or so. I've tried flashing all kinds of modem but it doesnt seems to help so does anyone know how to fix this problem ?

Note 4 exynos sm-n910k Problem please help

So I am from Canada and picked up the exynos version from a Korean seller on ebay.
Model number sm-n910K I actually have a huge problem. When wifi is turned on phone will reboot whilst in sleep mode after about 5 minutes if I turn off wifi it works fine. Note this happens even if I am not connected to a network the radio just has to be enabled. I am out of options I might rma it to the Korean seller but I think I might have to open a case with ebay, as these guys are being very difficult here is a video attached. I filmed it for 5 minutes but only recorded the last minute. http://youtu.be/ahLB0A2pCOM any help would be super appreciated thanks guys. I am at a loss whether this is software ie corrupt modem from improper driver installation at factory or just a faulty modem things I have tried already.
1. factory reset + cash wipe
2. Reinstall firmware using kies
3. turned off automatic scanning
4. turned off download booster.
The only thing that works is keeping wifi off. Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks.

Did you contact seller?

Having the same problem with my US Note 4. Any insight as to what might be causing it/ possible fix? its rebooting CONSTANTLY.

Have you tried flashing with Odin?

Hey, I also have the SM N910K. What network are you using it on?

I have that version as well without that issue. Can you grab a picture of your About device specs?

Hello there i got same version SM-N910K i didn't have that issue with wifi , but i got battery drain , i live in uk and the phone keep searching for LTE- A ,

N910C with the Samsung SoC
I have the same Issue, i live in the US, I was in Malaysia and manage to get a N910C with the Samsung CPU, when I set the network to LTE/WCDM/GSM (autoconnect) it keeps serching for 4g networks, and it does not switch to lower networks even if available, which causes a huge battery drain, i had to set it down WCDM/GSM for it to get data. I did not have this issue with my note 3 which i also got in Malaysia last year, btw, the note 3 came with qualcomm cpu, and that leads me to believe there is a problem with the modem on the samsung SoC.

Hi! i found a solution where you can force your phone to go to GSM Only, WCDMA only or your preferred network type. In your dialer app type: 319712358. It will ask for a password and the password is 774632. And voila you can now choose what type of network you want to use. This will help with the battery drain.

do you have any idea for rooting this phone. I cant root this phone because of bootloader is locked. Anybody help me how do i unlock bootloader?

Update to the latest 5.1.1 ROM, and follow the steps on the page. You're good to go.

I too have sm-n910k model. I have not faced any issues except battery drain very worse. I tried all methods including installing lollipop using odin method. But still same problem. I charged at 11:30 am today morning by 3:30 pm full drain without using any thing. Please help me

Hey i was wondering if anyone could help me. I have installed a custom Rom made for N910C on my N910K and then flashed the stock kernel and modem. I was on stock marshmallow rom and the custom rom is marshmallow as well. Everything seems to be working fine except for when i make phone calls i hear weird and loud crick crick sounds and it is impossible to make phone calls. So is there any way to fix this problem??

Lost Signal after Lollipop update

Hi guys
My phone was rooted but never flashed a ROM on it. Today I updated my phone to Lollipop through Kies Mac. After that my signal is not there. When I reboot the phone I get signal for few seconds then it gets lost again. Also phone never saves my Wi-fi connections.
I did reset my phone but still the same.
It was locked to Vodafone and I unlocked it in Vodafone shop when I first bought it do you think anything related to that?
How can I downgrade to KitKat or get my signal working?

Please use the search function of this site and google, don't be lazy. There is a thread about downgrading . Also try flashing lollipop modem/bootloader, for this visit any of the TouchWiz Lollipop rom threads (like the one in my signature) most of them talk about flashing modems and bls.

Maybe a wrong modem version, or damaged wifi config files.
Workaround for Wifi (need root):
With a File Explorer.
Navigate to /data/misc/wifi
Rename wpa_supplicant.conf to wpa_supplicant.conf.old
Delete wpa_supplicant.bak.conf
Reboot device.
If you need restore the saved networks, check this after reboot.
You will have three wpa_supplicant's.
Enable and disable your wifi for recreate files.
Open the wpa_supplicant.conf.old file, and copy the lines between network and the end of file.
Example:

psk=aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
key_mgmt=WPA-PSK

autojoin=1
usable_internet=0
skip_internet_check=0
}
And past in end of new wpa_supplicant.conf.

The same thing happened to my wifes gt-i9500 a few months ago. Her phone had to have the wifi and blue tooth hardware parts replaced.

Then It Works ? After Replace Wifi And Bluetooth ? Works

Yes, I originally took it to a Samsung service centre who wanted to replace the motherboard for an expensive price. I then took it to a normal phone repair shop who replaced the wifi and bluetooth hardware components for a fraction of the price. They did not use original samsung parts but her phone is now working fine for both wifi and bluetooth.

Same happend to one of my devices and that how i managed the problem!
No need root for that issue!

Flash My Data ... Everything i Did ... But Except stable Lollipop versions (DBT, UK, Hong Kong)
Now I Will Try ..... But Already I Am IN Indian Version ... Anyway Can I Overwrite INdian Version ...

I forgot to mention, on my wifes phone it was getting very hot when charging. Basically there was a lot wrong with her phone. So as other members have mentioned, try the software first you may be lucky.

Hey man I had the same problema I got a Galaxy s4 i9500 on friday from a friend it was almost new, but wifi wasn't working and bluetooth he didn't notice, I flashed russian lollipop, indian and honk Kong, some módems nothing worked even downgraded to kitkat and rooted to edit the wifi file mentioned before in this thread and build.prop too,
I fixed it, it was kindda silly for me the bluetooth and wifi antenna were kindda loosy, I took apart the pone a Little, on the back I removed all the screws, and with a tool opened it, the back part the one with the screws has the antenna and the bluetooth they are encased in that plastic part if you're looking the phone from the back it would be left top part almost, and you can try squeezing the phone a lil bit in that part, after putting it back togheter I just squeezed it a lil bit and the problem was fixed so it might be a hardware issue in this case it was kindda loosy

If this is your first time flashing lollipop..just flash it twice and ur problem is gone..dont forget to wipe after first flash..

wifi issues
Hi everyone!
When i flash the rom detects the wifi but the next day was no longer detected. Turn off and turn on the wifi and nothing it stays searching and shows no network. I tried with the official rom, cyanogenmod, GE but no luck.
I tried that said in post # 2, but nothing.
Any ideas? i'm using S4 GT-i9505

Emergency calls only on note 4 N916K

Hi guys, please help me. actually I have a strange problem: I have a korean note 4 N916K and since 1 month I have this strange problem of emergency calls only with all Simcards . Or IMEI is correct, wifi works perfectly, only this problem of emergency calls only when I set network mode to LTE/3G/2G automatically or 3G/2G automatically or 3G only. I tried everything I know, reflashing original roms from Samsung(android 5.0.1, 5.1.1, 6.0.1), many custom roms ..., ... No way, no solution. The only thing that I tried to make my phone working as phone is just put the network mode in setting to 2G, not 3G, nor 4G, just 2G. With 2G only as network mode, the emergency calls only disappeared BUT now I can't connect to 3G and 4G anymore. Please please help me guys, I really need to use at least 3G

Nope, i didn't. It made me so mad and angry. No one can solve it so i broke it and i bought a new phone. I hope you will find solution for yours if you have. Good luck

I have the same issue in my 910c.
It stopped working out of nowhere, november 2016, I was using the same stable rom for months at the time, wasn't due to a bad update.
Tried everything to fix it, even downgraded to kitkat stock rom, restored IMEI backup, nothing seems to work.
I'm only able to use it as a phone in 2g, it's painful.
Checked my IMEI already, it's not blocked, serial number is correct, CSC is correct, region is correct...
Anyone passed through this and managed to fix it?
