Google Chrome - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have test the Android N 56p/56w and I am encountering this AW crashes from time to time. I know this is a preview but I just want to make sure that it's not only me..I have tried everything.. factory reset/delete data/cache/delete browsing history but still the issue comes up.. I am running a fully stock Android N 56w I am done with rooting now so if you guys have any comments or suggestions it would be appreciated.

Android Wear 2.0 Companion App

After updating to the latest version of the companion app (Version 2.0.0.137106828.gms), I've noticed that it can take upwards of 30 seconds to receive any notifications to my Moto 360 2nd Gen. I've tried clearing cache and data, uninstalling the companion app and reinstalling, restarting my phone and watch, resetting and pairing my watch again, and checking for watch updates all with no success. I ended up reverting to the previous version of Android Wear (Version 1.5.0.3329214.gms) and all of my problems have been solved.
When this has happened before, it was because a software update needed to come through to my watch. We know that 2.0 isn't set to launch until 2017, and I'm not willing to deal with this issue until then. I've attached a link to Android Wear Version 1.5.0.3329214.gms for those who share my problem.

Has anyone tried the latest version (2.0.0.138705214)? I'm still sticking with my older version until I can verify that the bugs have been worked out. Comments in the Play Store are still giving mixed reviews of the latest version. I rely more on the good people of XDA and their opinions.
i have reinstalled brand new rom to my phone resurrection remix for oneplus 3. after reinstall my aps Android Wear is not working. with notice: this phone has been flashed with an unsupported configuration for companion. You must reflash it as signed user or unsigned/userdebug. What does it mean,? please help, i´m newbie. thank you. and yes, its a 2,0xxxx version
From everything I've read, the only fix is to go back to the Android Wear version I posted a link to. There doesn't seem to be an actual fix yet.

You can change the buildprop from debuguser to user, if you want to continue using 2.0
If your phone is not rooted, the only possibility for now is to install the version 1.5 - you can find more information in this Google Group
I've been reading reviews on the Play Store of people having issues with WiFi Scanning turning on and off every 2-3 seconds. I'm having the same issue, but I attributed it to a software update I received for my S7. As previously mentioned, I rolled back to the 1.5.xxxxx update of Android Wear, so I can't imagine that would be the cause of my problem. I can't imagine it's just a coincidence though. Any one have any feedback on this?

Android O or N? Which one are you using?

Like the title says, which one are you using?
Just switched again to O.
N
Sent from my Nexus 9 using Tapatalk
Currently O but had some bugs
Choppy bluetooth - can live with this
Data connections (both mobile and Wifi) go dead and needs a reboot - half making me want to switch back
Camera wont record videos - Definitely too bad to live with.
Am downloading both N latest factory and O DP2 factory today so will try a full factory clean flash and see how that is with O. If same bad bugs then will revert to N.

After clean flash of factory image video seemed to work fine so have now relocked BL and am reinstalling everything. If still big problems will debate going back to N but lagginess and BT issues i can live with, will see if my data connection issues keep happening now too.
I was trying android O for a few days, I started to get kinda bored of those problems and finally decided to come back to Android N, now, all problems are gone and my phone runs faster than ever, this beta is not for me, last time, the Android N beta used to work really good, I will wait for the final version.
Froyo
Android O - running without problems.
android o it's awesome the only problem so far is the Bluetooth (file sharing only)sound works great
the battery sometimes is stable and sometimes no 2-4 sot time!
Help , please HELP ! I am in troubles.
I am an expat in China and have to use VPN to operate smoothly my Nexus 5X.
Until June 9 , 2017 I was happily using Nougat 7.1.2 , no problems at all. When it was made public Android 8.0.0 DP#3 is in Beta I was strongly tempted to enrole to android.com/beta and download 8.0.0 . All went smooth. The "O' OS worked smoothly .... except my VPN (Psiphon) which was continuously stopping and crashing. I've attributed this to Psiphon not being compatible (yet) with the 8.0.0 . As the whole thing became useless , I decided next day (June 10th , 2017) to go back to Nougat 7.1.2 . However , the "magic" of reversing did not work and I decided to perform Factory Reset. After factory reset and to my complete dismay , I am now left with "stock" Android 8.0.0 Beta on my phone.
I am unable to download the "reverse" protocol to 7.1.2 and unable to download a VPN. I am stuck and desperate. Please help me. Thank you.
I know , it's all my fault but still hope to get some suggestions . :crying:
Please write to my PM ..... [email protected] or [email protected].
Thank you.
Best regards ,
Tom

CAN someone suggest me the most appropriate Android Version (with OTA upd.) for tegra

I bought this amazing device a few weeks ago. It came with lollipop 5.1 and I was happy with it. I started playing modern combat 5 and saw that after 10-15 min, it started to heat up. Considering this a small issue I didn't thought for the replacement of the product.
Then I searched for few custom rom threads on the net. I , thereafter, realized that I should downgrade to 4.4. The site from which I downloaded rom is rootjunkys.dl.com , most of you guys would probably have heard of it.
The rom is all good but sometime it lags when I use Chrome or UC browser. Pls help me with this by suggesting me the most preferable rom/android ver. (with link if possible).
Also can someone tell me when are we getting marshmallow or cyanogenmod or any custom rom?
I WILL BE VERY GRATEFUL FOR THIS HELP.

this is the most current and currently the most promising project to bring CM12.1 to our beloved tablet
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nvidia-tegra-note-7/development/cyanogenmod-12-1-alpha-t3608613
however, this is gonna take a while until its finished / stable enough for everyday usage....

Thnx for the reply.... i think its download link is yet to be given .
I though 4.3 worked the best, way too many patches for 4.4. Currently waiting for the mentioned CM12.1 port.

New owner of the pro3 elite video playback is sped up??

Evening all, finally got my hands on this device this evening and I am very impressed so far. The only real issue I have come across is video playback in YouTube and Instagram (the only two options I have so far been able to view videos on) is playing speed up?? Has anyone experienced this and know how to get the videos to play back at normal speed?
I have done a little search and came up with no answers so far.
Anyways thanks in advance and look forward to tinkering with this phone in the near future.
One of the 1st things I will checkout is if it is worth doing any ota updates if there are any? Or stay on this version of 6.0.1 for ease of rooting if that is the case like some other phones I have had in the past.
Again any help appreciated
Cheers Hoppi
Never experienced that issue. Could be a problem with your WiFi, or maybe the ROM. Try clearing the app cache and data for both apps.
There are no OTA updates for this device, and you're likely on an unofficial 20s multi-language shop ROM. If you want to use custom ROMs in the future, you should not switch to a stock firmware anyway, since your device will get permabricked if you flash any official stock ROM like 26s through TWRP. Read the sticky in this forum and read the bootloader unlock guide in the x722 development section here.
