Is there anyone else having a problem with YouTube on the tmobile S7 edge what happens is the video will start playing and then freeze but the video is still playing if that makes any sense
This happens A LOT to me on my note 4. Try wiping cache from YouTube application. As of now it's working fine on my s7 edge but will be watching a few videos here in a few. I'll check back

Yep having same issue. Sound will play but video will freeze. Then it will jump to the next sequence and play for a while and video will freeze again. But it seems like this issue only occurs for me when I play a video from another source like clicking a Facebook link to YouTube. It doesn't freeze when I search the video up from the YouTube app directly. But this issue isn't just s7 specific a Google search may bring up some solutions like clearing cache and data.
Same thing here and I'm using tmobile cellspot full bars and wifi. Tried clearing cache of you tube app still freezes after few seconds

whenever i play a youtube video that is embedded into the browser it will play around 10secs of the video and then reset, this has happened many times already however whenever i play youtube videos using the youtube app everything is 100%, im wondering if any else has this issue and if so have you been able to fix the problem?
im fully rooted using the latest fresh
hell yeah dude, thanks.. ill see if that fixes the problem
Anyone having issues with Youtube and gmail? I cannot watch a video on Youtube even on the lowest setting without it buffering every few seconds.. Gmail is even worse it just simply does not sync. I've cleared cache and reset phone plenty of times also uninstalled updates and all of the normal fixes. The funny thing is that this is my second s5, the first had camera issues but definitely did not have these connectivity problems.. Wondering if it would be best to take this one back at this point.

Each time I watch a video on the Youtube app the video freezes each 30 seconds while the audio keeps going. I have to skip to a certain part for it to start again. There is no issue when I watch in browser...any help?
btw I'm on rooted ATT Note 3, thanks!
I just made a post about this on the Sprint Galaxy S5 board. What I had to do was disable or turn off the ANT Radio Service, there should be two apps for it if this is your problem as well.

have you tried clearing the cache of youtube? its a commonly forgotten mistake which can save you a heck of a lot of frustration. Otherwise if the problem persists id suggest uninstalling updates and reinstalling thm and or deleting the app data in system/app i believe. good luck, i can agree it is possibly the most stressful glitch as i am using my phablet for youtube 99% of the time
I had a similiar issue, sometimes data gets left behind from a earlier version. I went into recovery and formatted cache partition. Been fine sense. give it a try
Hi guys,
i got my S7 Edge since thursday and so far I'm very satisfied except for one problem.
It happened 3 times so far that NO video playback would work. Not in Youtube, not in the browser...
Youtube would then say something like "please try again" and videos in the browser just wouldn't start when pressing the play button.
The only thing that helps is rebooting the phone which is really annoying. Anyone else with this problem?
Yes I have the same issue and it's not just youtube. HBO now and go do the smell thing over made over. I have an s7 edge international version
It constantly freezes, stutters, FCS etc..
Try to clear youtube data and cahce.
I use youtube a lot and havent hand any problems with it.
Working perfectly fine for me...
No issues for me either.
To be honest I'm having this issue as well and I haven't yet found any solution to this problem. The YouTube app sometimes force close especially while I'm scrolling on the subscription menu. I've wiped the data and cache of this YouTube app, and I've done factory reset . it didn't even get rid of the problem. I don't know what's causing this problem in the first place.
