I am pretty sure you dont get the rebate unless you get a 1 or 2 year contract with the phone. I submitted my rebate through the verizon online rebate center and mailed away with my verizon receipt from my online purchase and the rebate form I printed online.
Was this a fluke on verizon's behalf since I paid $530 for mine and not a new contract or extension? I mailed my rebate last week and got it today. $100 rebate card!
thats not sure. u can get the mail in rebate with full price. also i ordered mine from customer service over the phone and i still got a mail in rebate form, im pretty sure I can get that also, which they gave me the instant discount already
Wait I am thinking about getting switching to Incredible from the Eris for a few reason, but is this really true? Because, at 430 plus tax that is cheaper than going the ebay route. What can the rebated card be used for, can it be just used for cash?
if you are anywhere over 12 months into your plan you can upgrade to a new 2 year plan and only pay a $20 early upgrade fee... making the phone $220 .. U upgraded my secondary line for the incredible and they keep sending me emails for an extra 50 off of another incredible to upgrade my main account early... making it $150... if you wait verizon will send you some discount soon... especially if you are a long term customer.... I'm 9 years with VZW and finally I have a phone I'm not ashamed to own
The rebate applies regardless of the price you paid. The only way it doesn't apply is if you received an instant rebate at the time of purchase. I too, paid full retail, and got my debit card yesterday. Bringing the total cost of my Incredible, after I sold my Moto Droid and accessories, to $64.00.
Where would have it the lowest price eligible for the rebate?

I could of sworn the fine print said it was only applicable to people who got a 1 or 2 year contract, not people who paid full price. When I ordered the phone full price it did not show any discount available like it does with the 1 or 2 year contract, it shows price after rebate...

That's right, because when you re-up, or do a new contract, they give you the rebate instantly. When you go the full retail route, you have to mail it in.
I also paid full price for mine 529.00 at Best Buy and they would not give me any rebate, instant or mail in. You would think paying full price they would cut us some slack
Wow thanks for the info. I had no idea I could qualify for any rebates, but mine's on it's way right now. That extra $100 will be useful for a proper battery/charger/AF that this phone shoulda been stock with!
To find out if you are eligible for a rebate, simply go here, https://www.yourwirelessrebatecenter.com/promocenter/verizonwireless/promo_search.html, and fill in the required information.
The rebate only applies to 1/2yr contracts, so if you received a rebate and paid full retail then you lucked out. The *instant* rebate only applies online, telesales (if you tell them your are having errors ordering online), or sometimes indirect stores, other wise if your order at direct store or through customer service by phone, you would recieve a *mail* in rebate. Exceptions can be made depending on the situation.
All I know is, I paid $529 for my Incredible, ordered on the VZW website, did not extend my contract, sent in the rebate, and got my $100. If people aren't interested in $100, then so be it.

I was just clarifying the policy. I'm not sure why it's being included but that's a good thing! I recieved mine for $100 after the instant rebate and NE2 of $100

Yep I just sent mine in too, sold my TP2 for $300, getting this $100 back. Overall price for the Incredible - $164. I can be happy with that lol
i must have way over paid phone after tax was 620 last one they had in stock in Vegas was on vacation and won enough to buy one now need to sell xv6800 maybe get 100 for that then total would be 420 but i won 700 of 50 dollars so win win.
Thank you guys SO MUCH for posting about this! I also paid full retail for my phone, $530 + tax, with NO contract extension, and asked the store reps specifically if I was eligible for the $100 mail in rebate, to which they said NO, and even on my receipt "(Rebate NOT Elligible)". Why I ever listen to those clowns, I do not know... they also said I was not eligible for the free 2gb memory card... eh no big loss there but still I wonder.
Anyways, I followed the link and found that I AM eligible for the $100 rebate, got the form right from that link after filling in some basic info, and will mail it off tomorrow with my UPC and copy of my receipt. I don't forsee any issue with getting my $100 card
You guys made my day, and my wife's day as well . I also was lucky enough to sell my Touch Pro 2 to a coworker for $300, plus this $100, brings my total out of pocket to ~$150... Very nice indeed for a new phone after only 6 mos!
So anyone get their rebates yet since I posted this topic?
Wirefly is currently offering the Aria free for new contract and for upgrades. Ordered mine as an upgrade this afternoon and it has already been approved by at&t and shipped on fedex.

i don't see anything about a gift card... how'd you manage that?
Dunno... Wos just being offered when I did the deed, cause I don't see it on there now.
this is legit!
Can you purchase the DVP 8GB for 100 bucks then CANCEL your brand new tmobile service?
Whats the worse? they'll only charge you 200 bucks for a contract termination right? then you've bought the phone for 300 bucks.=)
nope wont work. cause when you get approved dell emails you and lets you know you recieved a $350 dollar discount so you will be charged 200 from tmobile and 350 from dell for the credit you recieved. they will charge the credit card you used over and over. loop hole is to get a prepaid credit card for one time use

Do you have a link with this information? I looked all over their agreements and conditions of sale, and I see nothing about having to pay back the discount.
Also, how is using a prepaid credit card a loop hole? Wouldn't they call you to get a valid credit card if the one on file doesn't work? Or can't they just send you a paper bill?
It would probably work fine with the exception that there is also a 35 dollar activation fee for new service and you are required to pay a minimum of the first months service. Also just a word of caution that there may be hidden cancellation fees much like with Amazon. Where both the carrier and the company you purchased from charge you for cancellation prior to a specified amount of time. It really doesn't save you as much as you would think. The best option would be to sign up for Borders Rewards and receive the 10% off for purchasing through the Dell Employee Purchase Program which Borders Rewards members have access to.

The Amazon cancellation fee isn't hidden. It's clearly part of their "Instant Discount Policy".
If you intend to use T-Mobile service anyway, paying the first month's service fee is no big deal. You're paying only $20 more than the no-contract price that you would have paid had you purchased the phone outright. However, over the course of 2 years, that $20 adds up even if you pay the ETF, so it's always beneficial to get off contract as soon as you can.
I thought the activation fee was waived, but even if you did have to pay it, you're still saving $95:
Code:
Discount: ($350)
ETF: $200
Service Fee Diff: $20
Activation Fee: $35
___
Savings: $95
I took it to mean that he would be signing up for a new contract and already has one. If this is actually what he was doing then he would also be paying for his existing monthly plan if he wants to keep his existing phone number. Say $50for this example.
$100 phone
$200 cancellation
$35 activation
$50 data only plan (new contract)
or
$60 500 minutes (new contract)
$50 existing plan
total is $435 or $445
total after the discount on the 8gig model with 10% epp is $404.

Incredible - especially considering the standard ECF in Canada is $400!
for tmobile, i believe you cannot modify your account within the first 3 months if you want to buy a phone because the retailer won't get commission if the line is cancelled so they might charge you extra.
How much luck have you guys had buying a full price Note 4 from TMobile without a contract or Tmobile plan? I'm on AT&T and wanted to bring one over. I'm a bit leery of swappa, eBay and Craigslist as I see a lot of these scams going around where either it's reported stolen/lost for the insurance money, or they stop paying the payment plan on Next/Jump and the phone gets blacklisted.
Hmm BB has the tmobile prepaid one for $50 less than Tmobile, but you can't order it or get it in store. Anyone have any luck with BB? http://www.bestbuy.com/site/t-mobil...lack/1015007.p?id=1219459037265&skuId=1015007
I paid the tax on the N4 i got 75.00 worth of accessories which I was rebate for they paid my early termination fee..
So I walked out with the device paying 75.00 this was based on my credit score.. which is in the 700 range...
