Android Wear Notification - Nexus 6P Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I recently connected my moto360 to my Nexus 6p and I noticed that even when I'm disconnected with Bluetooth off, the Android wear notification in the notification pull down bar won't go away on my phone. I've included a screen below of the menu. I can't swipe the notification away or long press and close it either, is this supposed to be here permanently once you use Android wear ?

Yeah, I think so. I have a pebble, but the Wear app is required for more features. At first it didn't show up, but I accidentaly started it and it wont go away

[Q] Change songs while in an app?

Is it possible to access Google Play Music controls (next track, previous track, etc) while I'm in another app? Or do I need to switch back to the Music app each time I want to change songs?
If I could pull down the notification bar (which contains the Music controls) while in an app, that would work -- but I can't seem to figure out how to do that...
Thanks!
Do you mean this?

How do you mean that you don't have this feature?

Yes, but is there a way to pull down the notification bar when I'm in an app (like a game)?
What I'm looking for is something like the double-tap home button to access music control like on an iPhone/iPad. I'd prefer to not have to exit the app that's currently running when I want to changes tracks. BTW, I'm on 4.2 Jelly Bean.
When you can't see the notification bar, just press the multitask button and it wil appear

[Feature Request] Cursor Right & Left Arrows on Nav Bar

I really miss having this from Cataclysm on my Nexus 5 every time the keyboard popped up. Would be amazing if someone could make a flashable zip that could add this to a stock, rooted ROM.

That's good to know but I love how Cataclysm could make this work with any keyboard. I happen to be a fan of the stock Google keyboard and with this setting enabled, you'd get left and right arrow keys on other side of the home button. Best solution I've seen.

Ether turn off always on display or let the screen time all the way out. The screen saver will not turn on if aod starts. That was my issue anyway. Good luck.
I have AOD turned off & let the screen timeout and let it sit and the screen saver never turned on?

I've been having this same problem! I'm currently running the U firmware on an att edge. When we go into screensaver settings, the "More" button isn't there, just "Preview". Therefore, we can't set the phone to use the screensaver while charging, its only set to do it while docked. Anybody know of any way to make that "More" button appear or perhaps another way to get into those particular settings?
Yep same here only the preview button shows

It's weird, I haven't knowingly changed anything either. Just started doing this.

The Verizon rep fixed it it was something called integrated messaging on the account that had to be removed it's apparently a known bug that they're working on

to theprfct10..do you know what the verizon tech did to integrated messaging to fix the bs headache ?
this is known bug that they're working on. just need to wait for update
I don't know of a permanent solution, but if you go into setting and reset network it gets rid of it til the next system update.

OnePlus 6T notifications and Android Auto

I bought the 6T purple edition (128GB/8GB) when it came out and it's been working great. Then I saw the McClaren edition and decided to get that version and gave my original 6T to my daughter who needed a new phone anyway.. One thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to get the the McClaren 6T to play notification sounds (WhatsApp, SMS, Hangouts, etc) while connected to Android Auto. Other than the phone ringer which I had to use the car stock ringer sound, all sound notifications are muted and I only see them on the screen. The purple 6T played the notification sounds while connected to AA through the phone speaker but I can't find how to do that on the McClaren. Anyone know what setting needs to be changed?
When android auto is started, it will automatically turns on do not disturb mode. But you can turn it off manually.

Why ...that is stupid.
I'll have a look at the Do not disturb setting next time I drive. Is there a way to prevent AA from turning on DND?
