I was went to change my stock keyboard on my s5 to s6 keyboard it wasnt working and i had a backup the stock keyboard and i restore it and it note working too someone help please

I placed the LatinIME.apk and libjni_latinime.so in their appropriate places and the keyboard loads BUT it force closes when I attempt to type on it. Do I need to chnge the build.prop to reflect the appropriate SDK version?

sorry, cant post in dev thread so i will ask here. I am using the jaguardhd build and tried the fix that was posted (download root and copy to rom) but this did not work. please help
